It's probably because the whole story is heading towards a futuristic theme or most likely the coming of honkai impact or honkai star rail universe. Just my speculation tho.
(I haven’t reached Fontaine yet so I don’t know what narwhals theme is) Honestly Monstadt and Liyue have the best themes in the game. Sumeru and Inazuma have some pretty good songs with Scaramouche and Signoras theme but Symphony of the Boreal Wind and Rage Beneath the Mountains will always be my favorite

So true... Some other boss themes sure have more "stunning" effects when I first hear them, but I always end up going back to Dvalin's boss theme when I need something instrumental to listen to while working.

I love what you did for the part with the whale. The screen slightly glitching, the font changing to from Fontaine to something…alien; where we can’t understand what it says. It shows and makes the player (and the traveler) feel we’re no longer in teyvat anymore…
I was so excited when Childe showed up at Golden House... the music was really powerful and grand too, ahhh. Andrius' theme sounds like a variation of Mozart's Requieum!
Liked the editing for Silhouette. The visuals really synced with the music. I also love Silhouette because it's so erratic, reinforcing the feeling that you're struggling to comprehend what exactly you're fighting.
Whoever made the subtitles for this deserves some huge respect, this is so impressive to be made with just youtube.. Amazing editing too with showing the bosses and cutscenes, generally an amazing job on this and tysm for making it!

I've noticed that the female vocalist from the main menu (allegedly) only sings in areas of importance. Like Stormterror's Lair, and one of Enkanomiya's battle themes for example.
Thank you so much for doing this. This game is such a gem when it comes to music-- it does so much to set the atmosphere and drama of our encounters across Teyvat. I cannot even imagine how much better it will get when we explore Natlan, Sneznaya and Khanreiah. CAN'T WAIT!
I really love the music in the game, so I had to do it justice in some way with scenes and edits that enhance the visual experience and match the atmosphere of each track. I can't wait either, just knowing that we have yet to see another Fontaine weekly boss, I'm left wondering what it will be and what style of music they will use!

Man, Azhdaha's Phase 2 theme is so majestic and emotional; really love it. Brings back memories of Zhongli's story quest and ahh feels. Also, love watching the actual scenes play to the boss music! Very creative and much dedication. I also love the incorporation of lyrics
This video only compiles the ones that are played ONLY with bosses (normal or weekly), the ones in The Chasm are played with any mob, it just changes depending on the zone. However I agree with you, i was thinking about compiling all the battle themes that are played in the open world, but it will take some time.
I remember fighting Icewind and listening to the music for the first time, and while it sounds nice, it seemed to lack some nuance. Until way later when I watched an analysis video did I realize the music of the two robots played synchronously generates a complete orchestral piece. The devs are simply so careful with every detail.
If there is one thing we can be sure of, it is that they will always take care of the music section in a super detailed way, like Gilded Runner cusando the Fibonacci Sequence, or just like Icewind Suite, which by putting both themes together sounds like the complete theme, implying that both mechas complement each other

I listen to this on headphones and you would know it’s something really unrealistically cool plus a feeling of nostalgia from the beginning of the game when you’re just fighting with Dvalin and others

Glad to see someone who is also a big fan of the Genshin soundtrack, and not just the bosses! I didn't add Swirls of the Stream or Across Dimming Asterisms because the video focuses more on the bosses, but I don't deny that those are amazing tracks. Although lately I've been thinking about also creating a compilation of the battle themes of each region and semi-region, since I haven't seen much talk about them and most of them are amazing. Personally Fontaine has blown me away, which may not be super mega epic like the past regions, but I loved how far they went with the style, like the first narwhal phase, which feels like a FromSoftware game, but the choruses are even better (I love the choruses HOYO-MiX does) even just because of the complexity of the composition of various pieces, the references to classic artists and tracks, and being able to differentiate the style with Mondstadt's... I simply find it wonderful

If I may add I think it would be perfect, when you already posted lyrics to signora and scara battle theme to also add their translation? Because the meaning of them is just superb and I know its more work for you but you can find them translated in genshin wiki for example. And dont get me wrong, I fully agree with you on Fontaine, its awesome, but I just think that there not many soundtracs yet :/

@@antihmota4625I have been made quite a few recommendations about putting the translation of the lyrics of the songs and I have considered it quite a lot, I really don't mind it being more work, as I love to do it to improve the experience, only that there are at least 2 problems. First, the translated subtitles would not have the karaoke effect, simply because of the nature of the pronunciation between English, Latin, and the other languages, plus several phrases would be wrong because of the difference in writing and grammar, but I think I can keep the other decorations. And second, the language to put the subtitles. Right now I have them in English, because I can't put a specific one because languages like Chinese, Latin, Japanese and Italian are used, if I put the translation I would have to put it in the English one, so where would I put the untranslated ones? In Latin?
It might've been intentional but i got to see a lot more of the boss fight mechanics and move sets in this journey through the songs than when I nuke them 13 times a week for the weekly battle pass objectives
Definitely intentional, that's why I tried not to attack so often and lengthen the fights, because I know that most people nuke the bosses and don't appreciate the animations, mechanics and attacks, many of them don't even know most of the attacks that the bosses have, besides they look pretty good when they synchronize with their own tracks

I can't play Genshin anymore because my memory's phone can't handle anymore and i don't have a decent pc, but i still listen to game's the music, god i love all of the soundtracks.
I really have to say, if genshin impact community ask me which boss music in genshin impact you like? I would say the narwhal phase 1 &2. Genshin impact is the only one that have a spine tingling and spine chilling music I ever heard in my life to me, but I’m not sure about the other games, AND I LOVE IT!!!!❤❤❤❤

I've noticed that the female vocalist from the main menu (allegedly) only sings in areas of importance. Like Stormterror's Lair, and one of Enkanomiya's battle themes for example.

Thank you so much for doing this. This game is such a gem when it comes to music-- it does so much to set the atmosphere and drama of our encounters across Teyvat. I cannot even imagine how much better it will get when we explore Natlan, Sneznaya and Khanreiah. CAN'T WAIT!
I really love the music in the game, so I had to do it justice in some way with scenes and edits that enhance the visual experience and match the atmosphere of each track.
I can't wait either, just knowing that we have yet to see another Fontaine weekly boss, I'm left wondering what it will be and what style of music they will use!
Since Furina didn't have a boss associated with her story quest, I'm willing to bet it will be Arlecchino. Shit will be INTENSE.@@TheKoop

Man, Azhdaha's Phase 2 theme is so majestic and emotional; really love it. Brings back memories of Zhongli's story quest and ahh feels. Also, love watching the actual scenes play to the boss music! Very creative and much dedication. I also love the incorporation of lyrics

All those soundtracks but no underground chasm music??? These are by far the most epic ones in the whole game.
This video only compiles the ones that are played ONLY with bosses (normal or weekly), the ones in The Chasm are played with any mob, it just changes depending on the zone.
However I agree with you, i was thinking about compiling all the battle themes that are played in the open world, but it will take some time.

I remember fighting Icewind and listening to the music for the first time, and while it sounds nice, it seemed to lack some nuance. Until way later when I watched an analysis video did I realize the music of the two robots played synchronously generates a complete orchestral piece. The devs are simply so careful with every detail.
If there is one thing we can be sure of, it is that they will always take care of the music section in a super detailed way, like Gilded Runner cusando the Fibonacci Sequence, or just like Icewind Suite, which by putting both themes together sounds like the complete theme, implying that both mechas complement each other

I didn't add Swirls of the Stream or Across Dimming Asterisms because the video focuses more on the bosses, but I don't deny that those are amazing tracks. Although lately I've been thinking about also creating a compilation of the battle themes of each region and semi-region, since I haven't seen much talk about them and most of them are amazing.
Personally Fontaine has blown me away, which may not be super mega epic like the past regions, but I loved how far they went with the style, like the first narwhal phase, which feels like a FromSoftware game, but the choruses are even better (I love the choruses HOYO-MiX does) even just because of the complexity of the composition of various pieces, the references to classic artists and tracks, and being able to differentiate the style with Mondstadt's... I simply find it wonderful

If I may add I think it would be perfect, when you already posted lyrics to signora and scara battle theme to also add their translation? Because the meaning of them is just superb and I know its more work for you but you can find them translated in genshin wiki for example.
And dont get me wrong, I fully agree with you on Fontaine, its awesome, but I just think that there not many soundtracs yet :/

@@antihmota4625I have been made quite a few recommendations about putting the translation of the lyrics of the songs and I have considered it quite a lot, I really don't mind it being more work, as I love to do it to improve the experience, only that there are at least 2 problems.
First, the translated subtitles would not have the karaoke effect, simply because of the nature of the pronunciation between English, Latin, and the other languages, plus several phrases would be wrong because of the difference in writing and grammar, but I think I can keep the other decorations.
And second, the language to put the subtitles.
Right now I have them in English, because I can't put a specific one because languages like Chinese, Latin, Japanese and Italian are used, if I put the translation I would have to put it in the English one, so where would I put the untranslated ones? In Latin?
It might've been intentional but i got to see a lot more of the boss fight mechanics and move sets in this journey through the songs than when I nuke them 13 times a week for the weekly battle pass objectives
Definitely intentional, that's why I tried not to attack so often and lengthen the fights, because I know that most people nuke the bosses and don't appreciate the animations, mechanics and attacks, many of them don't even know most of the attacks that the bosses have, besides they look pretty good when they synchronize with their own tracks

I really have to say, if genshin impact community ask me which boss music in genshin impact you like? I would say the narwhal phase 1 &2. Genshin impact is the only one that have a spine tingling and spine chilling music I ever heard in my life to me, but I’m not sure about the other games, AND I LOVE IT!!!!❤❤❤❤
