I love the fact that Robin basically hijacked her brother's concert with a different tone of music
Robin : Get outta the stage, bro ! The light is mine !
Gothic Metal Oratorio vs. Modern Christian praise songs
They go so well together its crazy
EXACTLYYYYY OMG, THIS
Literally exactly what I thought omg
basically catholics vs protestants( no offense, btw )
also they added loki's theme
My mind can't handle that we go from intense orchestra to a hopeful idol concert for this boss fight theme.
just like someone mention above, its more like gothic metal vs modern christian praise song
Splatoon shaped boss, love that
@@jabermogwai5996which one is which?
@@hiiro.wakaba I´m assuming Sunday Boss has the gothic metal here and Robin that joins later on is the Christian praise song.(Robin´s songs so far have very similar motifs and vibes to modern church praise songs)
“The train itself is the weapon”
-Quite literally from a genius
Dr ratio
Did Sunday say "I Like trains"?
@ZionKid95 *gets star railed*
Witness... THE WILL OF THE WEAK!
the best line, and the best delivery, goes so hard
WEAKNESS BREAK!!!
She really put her whole navigussy into that line
Navigussy
That line hit so hard 🚂🚋🚃🚋🚃🚋🚃
Welt: "Those imprisoned in their dream are awakening for Freedom."
Robin: "Brother... The weakness of humanity cannot be redeemed by others."
Himeko: "Witness... the will of the weak!"
Dan Heng: "You have a noble soul... Don't be shackled by the past!"
March 7th: "Even if the future is full of pain... we won't escape from it!"
March 7th "Even if the future is full of pain... we won't escape from it!"
This, is the truth of the Path of Trailblaze.
Offering a hand to anyone in need. Even an enemy... especially a man who is doing the wrong thing for the right reasons.
"We rise together. As our destiny unfolds. We face the darkness and our trials are yet untold."
March's voice lines sounds very ominous now that I look at it.
Simply reading it definitely strips away the intent on that one
Dan Heng's EN version absolutely didn't make sense to me -- "Is he talking about the souls in Penacony?" -- until I read a translation of the JP version and realized that Dan Heng was addressing Sunday and telling the latter to not give into the darkness that formed in his noble heart.
I was confused and felt blueballed by the "fake ending" but the game slapped me in the face the actual ending sequence. Was so good it gave me huge goosebumps and made me tear up a little. I can safely say this surpassed Cocolia for me.
The "bad ending" Now we know why it leads to it.
Wildfire was the last gasp of a world that was dying. A resurgence of a guttering flame, rekindled by hope.
Hope is the thing with feathers is a defiance of fate, a slap in the face of Order. "No, we won't dream.endlessly in this curated space where nothing changes and things are safe. Life is just as much the pain as it is the pleasure... if you take one away, that's no longer 'life'."
Why does life slumber? Because we aren't yet ready to take that final step on the grand adventure after death.
True, I was kinda pissed off when Jing Yuan and Dan Heng IL came out of nowhere, stealing the thunder... Glad it was the whole astral crews rised up to the end
Yeah basically 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 were all a dream, we never witnessed the true story from where it all started
blueballed 💀
The fact they gave the boss a linked health bar, what is a conductor without a choir
"Why is my sister named Rose?"
"Oh that's because your mom love Rose"
"Oh i see thank you"
"Your welcome 50K SPECIAL Harmonious Choir: The Great Septimus Boss Theme (Definitive) - Honkai: Star Rail 2.2 OST"
lmao 😭
what lol 🤣
this joke is so overused and doesn't even fit here. cringe af

*WE STAR RAILIN' THE BOSS WITH THIS ONE!* 💥🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃
literally
I love how most of Star Rail's boss themes are just so grand that it reflects the scale of what we're actually fighting literally and figuratively. Just listening to it will already tell you you're facing someone/something many times bigger than you.
*DisOrDeRLy nOisE!*
How Noisy
HOW B L A S P H E M O U S
"Say the line, Harmonious Choir"
why is... everybody silent?
Such Insolence!!
Finally someone included the piano ending and the overture of Hope Is The Thing With Feathers.
that slight pick up when Sunday's falling and reaching out 😭😭
Bro that part is like "it's finally over" And tears start to rain
@@Inamiyu"The night... is still too short" I'm sorry, man, please, but you can't do it like this 😭
Why does life slumber?
Because... Someday...
WE WILL WAKE FROM OUR DREAMS!
Me after dreaming of getting all the eidolons of a limited character in a single pull:
HEADS UP
THE WEELS ARE SPINNING
ACROSS THE PLAINS AND VALLEYS DEEP
TO DAWN, THE WHEELS THAT SING
That was probably the worst line i ever heard. Like cant believe they said this silly shit
The feeling when the first and 2nd phases are like *ORDER* in dominance until Robin sang and override it with the power of *HARMONY*
To be fair, she's stronger than the Harmonious Choir
Funny thing is Sunday preaches Order but his boss theme is a combination of disorderly sounds
Infirma Nostri Corporis flows into Symphony no.8 flawlessly it's just on another level of holy
i will forever continue to yap about the golden hour theme being partially used for this because its such a cool thing that game developers do!!
using a recurring theme in the game for a boss
(I guess golden hour isn't really recurring but Golden Hour is what i associate the surface of penacony with, Hollow Knight is a great game that does something like this though! Many many boss osts are reminiscent of the menu theme)
It's even cooler considering that the Golden Hour is described as the Moment where it never becomes tomorrow, it's forever right before midnight (or something like that, I don't remember the exact quote). This "eternal happiness" is literally Sunday's ideal and the reason why he did what he did.
Edit: The Penacony Grand Theater OST (City Upon a Hill) also has the same Golden Hour motif and is directly connected to Sunday through - well, not only the fact that it's the location of the boss fight - but it's also the OST used in Aventurine's character demo where he's being questioned by Sunday while under the Harmony (/ Order?) curse.
@@zee1010 YEAHHH I THOUGHT ABOUT THAT TOO
THE MIDNIGHT THING
HOLLOW KNIGHT OST MENTIONED🗣️🗣️🗣️ WHAT THE F*CK IS A BAD SONG🔥🔥🔥
The Golden Hour is probably the area you frequent the most in Penacony, so it's the closest thing to a recurring theme there is, and I liked that detail too.
The choral arrangement of the Golden Hour theme at the beginning of the fight is absolutely beautiful. It truly says: "This is it. This is a battle for Penacony itself. Prove that you can win."
It's surprising that after all these years of eldritch god monsters being the final boss of RPGs, I don't think any of them have ever been fought to an uplifting pop idol song before. It's nice, and wierdly subversive?
The closest I can think of was another game called Stella Glow back on the 3ds, but that was more of a traditional anime opening-styled song.
Despite the gacha-side, this game made me feel I play a grand RPG like Final Fantasy/persona or many others. Fuckin' love moments like that !
This is the kind of experience i'm willing to pay money for. As long as they can keep bringing us this level of quality with the storytelling, beautiful music, each epic moment, the laughter and tears and just sheer emotion with it all... Thousands of dollars and absolutely worth every penny of it.
Can't really say the same for Western games tho. *Cough* Ubisoft *Cough*.
9:15 anyone else hears the "white night" motiff?
Indeed they put some white night melody but that cool
Good catch
If Cocolia was pure hype, this was pure joy.
When the OST hit on the Chorus I felt that I was there fighting with my team on the Finale of an anime.
This really reminds me of HI3 Legion Theatre arc with finale for Everlasting Flames.
I hope sunday no die
I hope he becomes playable one day
I hope he becomes a playable character, definitely not harmony, but maybe the hunt or erudition
SPOILERS!!!
: he becomes a stellaron hunter after imprisonment
@@meowzers-fi8fy I meaaaaannn
up to this point Stellaron hunters are becoming playable soooo
SPOILERS
After falling he contracts ligma and sadly dies
I really wonder how they will do better than Penacony, this story was just pure perfection and 10/10 for me, everything was perfect: story, plot twists, characters, musics, etc
the writers peaked. I wonder if they invent peak 2.0
don't forget that people used to say they wouldn't do any better than Belobog and Wildfire, yet here we are, gentlemen, I don't think these are flukes, I think it's okay to expect even better or at least on the same level, of course, this all depends on personal opinion.
Part of it is due to players emotional connection to the game, so a way I think they could do better is (theorycrafting) in the next world or sometime soon we find out about March 7th's backstory/memories and the boss of the area has some connection to her (heck it could turn out that March is evil and she turns out to be the boss)
@@ashleycurzon6348And then they just reskin the final Cocolia fight
The best part: it’s not ending yet. 2.3 will likely be more than just an epilogue
The whole fight's OST reminded me of how they executed Vita / Sa Boss Fight on Honkai Impact 3rd with the same choir-like theme that makes you feel fighting a being of High Order aside from them being a God on their own fields / territory.
And yes, this is actually quite similar to Herrscher of Dominance boss fight in a way with the same setting of battlefield being in a theatre, Sasuga Shaoji-sama (just don't let him cook or else he'll kill someone for real LMAO).
Septimus is getting railed six ways to Sunday with this one.
Six days to Sunday*
Never cook again.
ignore that other guy, you should cook *more*
@@DolusVulpes Don't cook or I'll cook you three.
The first time I tried this fight, I thought I could cheat through it with Aventurine's Shields, but eventually got overwhelmed in the second stage.
But the second time, I realized that that was literally against the philosophy of the battle, relying on one person to generate Shield, when the party should've been working together to generate it through attacking the boss...
The fact that that narrative, the idea that you need the party to work together in *harmony* to overcome an overwhelming *order,* and it's *baked into the gameplay;* I can barely put into words.
This was an incredibly designed boss, both visually and conceptually.
I had to *Walk In The Light,* and could no longer *conceal my schemes.* 🎉
“DISORDERLY NOISE!!!”
why is … nobody resonating(
I did not think they could outdo Wildfire but this goes astronomically hard
Am I the only one who wants these echo of war bosses in SU?
The Great Septimus (Complete) would go hard
We'll have Apocalyptic Shadows soon, full of bosses
Why??
Everything happened so quick in SU
It's either we killed Sunday less than 3 minutes or be killed by Sunday less than 3 minutes
Echo of War is the best for Boss Battle
I was expecting this OST to be "A Beautiful Song" level (from Nier Automata).
My expectations were absolutely blown.
Hoyo never dissapoints with their music.
I'm hoping reactors use this version instead of the other one. As the overture and piano sections are crucial for the piece to feel whole
The first time this game gave me goosebumps when against Cocolia, never though that this game would give me a goosebumps again
It's so cheesy but I absolutely love it. It's like Guren Lagan where someone is trying to restrict humanity so it doesn't destroy itself but we're here proving that we'll be fine because we are the train that drills through the cosmos!
*HEADS UP!* 💥 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃 *THE WHEELS ARE SPINNING* 🎶🎵🎼🎶
Penacony leitmotif
White Night leitmotif
which are both the main themes of the update
can be found within this final peak boss fight
One shows the grandness of the Order, and the Other shows the beauty of Harmony
Congrats on 50k!!! Thank you for always uploading HSR bgms~ Hoping to see more of your growth and more bgms to discover
The piano solo at the end broke the dam 😢
Timed the "Heads Up" to boothill's ult
Certified turn-based headshot
Sunday theme goes hard I don't even bother listening to his sister part bruh but its cool that they added melody touches from his sis since shes an idol. But his theme is just perfect it really depicts divinity!
Penacony's first and last disharmony
That last part felt like a mashup between this song and A Million Dreams/From Now On in The Greatest Showman
The performances of the VAs, the cutscenes and the boss fights cemented my love for the Penacony arc and this game as a whole. There are only a handful of RPGs I would consider my absolute favorites such as the Xenoblade trilogy and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Honkai: Star Rail is without a doubt one of them.
Ok who thought it would be a good idea to put Electric Guitars in an orchestra house. Because hell they can and it's cool af🔥🔥🔥🔥
I am glad i avoid all spoiler to get into this. Never ever feel goosebumps when Robin start singing
진짜 게임하면서 오랜만에 소름 돋았음

my favourite part of the song is where Sunday shouts out "DISORDERLY NOISE"
One of the best emotion evoking boss fight osts ever...

Sunday is actually a very likeable "Bad guy".
Vibe of this boss theme in final part to me is so similar to the vibe of chorus of the song «Grand Escape» from movie «Weathering With You»
I can not stop crying...
Its not sunday no more, its monday
Welp...it's the eight day :))
Thanks for the assist, Pom-Pom!
Congrats on 50k!!

Ngl, I feel like symphony No. 8 and infirma norstri corporis should be flipped in play order, as the symphony’s start sounds like the beginning while it’s end also sounds like it’s paving the way for the next movement.

All Boss fight in Hsr really Amazing
I really think Wildfire gonna be last one that peak
( Its not like other boss fight is bad but its pale in comparison)
But 2.2 Hsr team be like : Bet

Ena was confused by the order of the Tracks in this Upload and left existence (again)
Do you know the song that is used during the Acheron cutscene when they're in Ena's dream?
ya know whats crazy story ?
my Bailu just solo the guy.
and turn on the automatic fight
Boss here doing the Randy Orton pose so casually.
they dont have any clear version of the part where Robin sings a bit enters the stage before the instrumental and 2nd phase continues?
O cara q jogou essa batalha e n se emocionou já pode morre por que já tá morto por dentro
Is there any compilations with Robin's first cutscene and then overtune and then the song?
there was a remix version of ‘this side of paradise’ that played during the acheron cutscene. does it have a name?
No, since it’s from the pre-rendered cutscene.
All of Penacony Sunday gave me Seymour Guado vibes. And in the end he really did pull a seymour. Though this fight actually reminded me more of barthandelus from Final Fantasy 13 lol
Do you have this compilation but only from the chorus to the end (6:15)? I mean I really appreciate you combine them all like this but the difference between the first part and second part is just a bit too wild 😅
We don’t have one... 😞
