I guess Im randomly asking but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my login password. I love any assistance you can give me!
@Jack Brian thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
It took me a solid 1/2 year to finally grow my nails out to my desired length, learn how to shape them properly and learn how to apply polish on them. All that time I watched your videos Kelli for morale and inspiration!
I actually paint my ‘bad’ hand first and then paint my ‘good’ hand right after. It’s kind of a habit for me. Especially when I do freehand nail art, I would first try the design on the pinky nail of my ‘good’ hand just to get familiar with the design that I’m doing, then I’ll do my ‘bad’ hand. Then proceed to finish my ‘good’ hand. That way finishing my nail art seems ‘easier’ for me. But it took me probably years of practice to paint my nails perfectly, let alone do nail art on them. So my advice to everyone is to keep practicing. You’ll get there! And about making decals, I don’t have luck with it at all. I’ll draw it on the mat perfectly but applying it on my nail...everything goes wrong. So I would just go ahead and freehand it on my ‘bad’ hand. And in a way I feel that it kinda gives my ‘bad’ hand some practice. And also Kelli, you can try filing the corners of your nails so that they aren’t as sharp. Whenever my file my nails square, I do the same. ‘Cause it could get pretty dangerous to do some very basic things lol. Sorry for the long comment! . Love your videos. ❤️
I paint using my 'bad' hand on my 'good' hand first, so I can finish off with my 'good' hand and it's quicker and easier! I feel like when I do it this way, I'm less frustrated because it's trickier to start off with, and a breeze to finish, so it feels like I'm getting better at it. I stamp rather than freehanding, and it is good practice to line up the stamp with my bad hand first :D I use tweezers to apply decals- it's a lot easier for me that way, but I've seen people pick up decals on a stamper to apply them, which seems to work well too :D Oh! And I file my corners too cause they're SO sharp if I don't :D
I love your videos! You are so happy and full of good energy and good vibes! You're drop dead gorgeous, interesting, current, funny and I can't wait until you hit a million subscribers!
This is the first of your videos I've watched, and it was the right subject at the perfect time. And you are so stinkin' adorable! And, YES for the decal video, been experimenting with making my own, would welcome the benefit of your experience and expertise! PS: I noticed the holes in your sweater, but I thought it was a fashion thing LOL. And love the eye look!
Oh gosh haha well welcome to my channel Beverly! I'm so happy you enjoyed the video (and my makeup haha) and I'll definitely be doing the decal video too. The sweater holes were part of the design LOL but I forgot about it until I stuck a finger in there by accident.
I know this is an older video but thank you so much for making it! I found your channel a few months ago and love it. This video definitely helped me with painting my dominant hand and my manicures look so much better
I have the same problem with square nails! I always hurt myself (or my chihuahuas) with the square corners. The corners break off of my nails really easily, too. I solved the problems by rounding the corners off by holding my file on about a 45 degree angle after squaring them off and giving a few short, gentle passes with my glass file. It's works perfectly, they don't break off and they all have the same angles.
I actually like rounded nails better on shorter nails. Also, a tip I discovered regarding removing contacts - use your pointer & index finger and Shape them like a V, Use the fleshy part of your fingertip To pinch the contact out, kind of closing the scissor. So, rather than using your thumb and pointer finger where your nails can be engaged, You are using the tips of your fingers to pinch the contact out and cannot get hurt. This works like a charm for me.
Lucky you, but... I am learning how to be an ambi, by using my "bad" hand more often to do lots of things, including writing. Now THAT has been a real challenge. :-)
Gina Tiernan lol it's funny because I always had to do the opposite :) my handwriting was and is still atrocious because I don't favour one hand over the other so I always had to try and write with one hand to gain the muscle memory. So in effect i had 2 bad hands lol. Comes in handy now though for making food and a cup of tea at the same time 😂 good luck with your bad hand! :)
I tried some of these last night and they really helped. My right hand nails actually look better than my left hand, and my dominate hand is my right hand! Thank you!
I am a beginner in nail art and am loving your videos! Especially your stamping vids. Btw, you rock dark lipstick and I wouldn't change your lips! You are stunning as you are.
👋🏾 Kelli! This video came at a perfect time. I am literally going through my polishes right now trying to pick a color 😊! Side note - love the makeup look. That lipstick is so pretty!!
I just discovered your channel today; it is so wonderful and exactly what I needed! I just got into nail painting (perfect way to spend the new quarantine free-time) and am not quite to the-nail-art-stage; I'm at the having-a-rough-time-getting-an-even-first-coat-stage. When I somehow discovered your channel, charmed by your personality, and led to these quick, simple and very approachable nail 101 videos, I basically found my treasure trove. Even better, you're just an adorable human who I love watching! Thank you for these videos! We need you!
Oh gosh thank you so much for your kind words, and welcome to my little corner of the internet :) I'm glad you're finding these videos helpful so far!!
The silicone mats are a must. I discovered that I literally can't even do dots with my non-dominant hand. I was about to throw all my stuff in the trash then I realized I could just do them on the mat. Another tip, you can put the decals on your stamper to make them easier to place on the nail. I've actually placed a full nail of nicely-spaced dots on the stamper to make a perfect doticure.
I'm left handed. Love your matching eyeshadow and nail polish.nyou are gorgeous!! Thanks for the tips. I used to never paint my nails because I didn't have time for both hands to dry. I'm a caregiver for my husband. Now I'm able to have pretty nails which makes me happy and not miss them when he needs something.
This might be my favorite video of yours in entertainment value as well as informative!!! Definitely want to see the video about the mat. Hope i can find it!💜💜💜
The nails on my dominant hand are different than on my other hand too. Literally no one ever notices unless I mention it 😂. It's so obvious to me but apparently it's not to other people 🤷🏾♀️
I love your hair! Thank you for the tips and advice in this video. It took me a long time to be able to paint my right hand. I still struggle I paint my left first and wait until it's dry because I want my good hand in case I need to do something. It takes me a long time to do my nails too. If I do them at the same time I always mess up. I hit my wet nails every single time! I love you Kelli
Great advice! I do these myself and so true that everyone assumes everyone knows this! I also use page protectors to make decals as they are sturdier than freezer bags. :-) By the way - wearing Galaxy Gang on my "Good" hand and it was opaque in one coat! So much easier to have a one coat polish when painting your "Good" hand! Awesome polish!
Kelli Marissa, I just did my manicure today using the techniques you showed I this video and omg it's a game changer! This is the cleanest mani I've ever done. I needed almost no cleanup. Keep making amazing 101 videos, they are great for a newbie lime me! :)
Kelli, I don’t know that I could re-adjust to apartment living anymore. I finally bought my own home almost 10 years ago, but I’m 60, so there’s that. For the record, though...I do tend to blast my Beatles music. Sorry (not sorry) lol...You are fabulous!
Now when it's good music like the Beatles, The Ramones, The Doors, The (insert all cool bands that begin with *the*) Pink Floyd, Def Leppard, Metallica, ok I'm going on. It doesn't bother me if good music is blaring! Now I gave myself an earworm of 3 Little Birds. Oooh. Agree with you there Pam.
Oh Kelli. I ❤️ you forever! I tried square nails because yours look so cool, but I did so much damage, and the corners kept breaking off. I had to go back to round, but it was (kinda) good while it lasted! Your makeup looks epic - please do a tutorial xxxx
You are so right about tip #4, I always paint my good hand better than my bad hand and I think it's because I'm afraid of what it will look like trying to clean it up. And after you said that you are so right you go slower and use your good hand to maneuver so your bad hand doesn't have to do much work. Would love to see a video on making your own decals. Thanks for all the tips❤
To make decals I use parchment paper. It has silicone on the surface and the polish peels up easy peasy. I still can't paint my dominant hand worth a poop though.
Also, I work at a beauty supply store and we just got the new OPI fall Peru collection. I'd love to see you swatch and review them before I buy every single color. It's definitely my new favorite collection.
Kelli Marissa - do they send them to you or do you have to order them & pay full price? I only pay $4-$6 for a bottle of OPI (infinite shine is $6). If there's any way I can help you obtain collections for a lesser price, I'd be more than happy to lend a hand. I love your videos so much and I've learned a lot from your tutorials & nail polish 101 videos. :-)
OMG I am so relieved you said that about square nails! I thought I was the only one. XD I keep scratching myself and they're so sharp! All good tips! I remember when I first got the tip to keep my hand on the table to keep it steady, it blew my mind. It's so much easier!
Can’t wait for the DIY Decal video! I have tried that myself, it was a disaster to say the least 😂 I have also tried the water decals, so much easier, but i still suck at color-combination ☹️
Decals, yes please! 💅 Could you please, one day, do a video on skin care for the areas all around the nail? Yours always look so healthy and nice would love to know any recommendations/tips!
Kelli Marissa Awesome sauce!! I struggle with dry skin, I do hydrate and moisturize and love my cuticle oils but sometimes just seems to not be enough. I know it's not just me, looking forward to that video with the rest of us dry handers lol
My 2 biggest problems are: painting with my bad hand and flooding my cuticles. I have nerve damage in my left(bad) hand so it's in added difficulty trying to get it to look good.
I missed Nail Polish 101. They're my favorite! It's like you know what I need, because two weeks ago, I painted my nails, and the polish on the good hand chipped 3 days earlier than that on my bad hand. I couldn't get the nail polish on my good hand to be smooth. It was all streaky and blotchy. It's now time for a new mani and this came just in time. :) Also, question: When you swatch New nail polishes, do you take them off right away, or do you wear them around for a little wear test? Last time I swatched a new set I bought, I just wore my swatches for days. I saw on some K-Pop artists that sometimes, that's just all they'd do. Paint each of their nails different colors, and that's already the "design" if you will. My mom's friend liked it and said I was wearing a rainbow on my hands. :) I've been wanting to ask you that for weeks and I think it's a bit related to today's fun fact. I just recently realized that having different nails on each hand is actually like a design of its own, you know? Anyway decal video! Looking forward to that!
I've had square nails for about 6 months now and I've been thinking about rounding out the corners on my dominant hand. i work with my hands a lot and for some reason they always split at the corner or the corner will just break off and my nails will look like hexagons! idk what I can do to prevent them from doing this. I'm too cheap for supplements lol and have heard rumors that they don't really work. If you have any advice or could make a video about prevent breaks that would be amazing :)
Great video thanks. But I must say your square vs circle thing is nuts! And you must know how to file sharp corners off right? Why not have them both the same?
I'm new to long nails (rather than biting) and scratched myself HARD a few months ago. Back to "training length" for me! 😁 ... AND do we see China Glaze throwback holo polishes? ??
Yes, another great Nail 101 video from the queeeeen! 💅👑 Great timing too bc I currently sit here, typing this with ONE hand fully painted & finished (my left, non-dominant one!) BUT i haven't touched my right hand AKA my dominant hand with any polish yet! 🙈💅 I had to let them dry in between like you do! 😄👍 Lol so off I go, w/ my new tips + tricks ready, haha. 💖✨THANKS GIRL! & P.S. YOUR MAKEUP IS BANGIN! 😍 Seriously, your eyeshadow especially is just ugh, GORGEOUS! 😃💜👌
I am right handed. I've done it so many times, my left hand tend to look better than my right because I concentrate more so it will be perfect. Thanks for you post.
Kelli: *comments about sharp square nails* Me, actively sharpening my non-dominant hand to useful points: >.> Seriously, though, I scratch myself pretty often cause I'm a klutz or a doofus. So thankful to have found her videos to help strengthen and show them off!
I became interested in nail art after I retired. You can't imagine how much time you have after you retire from working 60 to 70 hours a week. One of the first things I noticed with my new hobby was the nail art failed attempts with nail art. I could not even draw a simple star. Placement on good hand while using the bad hand.... well forget about it. I resolved to nail stamping and water marveling. Although still pretty, I would love to conquer the nail art on the good hand while using the bad hand even if I use decals. BTW, I have tried and failed creating decals. Looking forward to the decal video.
I tried to make my nails square shortly after I subscribed to you, but I could never maintain it well and I didn't like how sharp they were. I went back to oval pretty quickly.
I don't change the nail shape of my good hand, but the nails are kept way shorter than my bad hand! My bad is looking real good right now tho. No idea how I got them this long without breaking a nail. I hope it stays for the summer as I am enjoying doing nail art right now!
I love u. I think ur amazing!!!!!! I love ur jumper and ur look, I was sorry to read on your Twitter that someone was insulting u but I hope u have gotten over that and ur other ideas for the 101 series sound amazing!!! Best wishes😀💛
I paint my bad hand first and let it totally dry too! My thought process is the same about "what if..." because it never fails that something happens and I need a dry hand!!!
Well alrighty! This was super helpful and I can’t wait to try these tips. I am a spaz and paint my nails in the air (like I just don’t care) and know I should have them on a steady surface but don’t, but will now! 🤪
I wanted a video like this and now I gained more knowledge from you, yay thank you. I thought I'm the only one wth two types of nail shapes. Have square nails and my indexes are ovals. I love square shape two but my index fingernails would crack because I do a lot of work so now I keep them oval shaped. I remembered this quiz in Cosmo or Allure or Seventeen? magazine in the early 2000s about what personality you are based on your nail shape, maybe there is a video or quiz like that still around, just for fun, like who really would believe in that anyway?
May I request a stamping video, or include it when you 101 the mat please? I can't for the life of me do nail art on my naughty hand, so I'm getting into stamping this year for the 1st time. I've seen that mat & it looks so much bigger on their website! So glad I learned I can use a silicone chopping mat, a paper protector, a ziploc bag, or laminate a printed nail art sheet with note lines as cheap replacements. Can also do gradients on them too right? Less messy & more decal fit to form your nail? Or a "dirty pour" fluid large cell art into decals. Or dry marbling water marble decal. Stamping decal. I am literally doing your tutorial in my infamous ramble comment, aren't I? I am so sorry I know I'm bad, but I get so excited. Thanks for sharing, have a great day today! Love the flow you went with: hair eyes nails & the holy shirt!
(Next time I should wait with a comment till the video is completely over ^^ ) Oohh please show us both hands in a closeup? I'd love to see the round ones - square looks awesome but I've found it to be inconvenient as well! I The edges always keep snagging on stuff 😔 so I recently went over to oval/round nails... bit harder to shape for me but I wanna give it a longer while to get used to ^^
I love your look so much. Magenta and yellow hair, black and white shirt, purple eyes and purple nails, and a dark blue choker. Love it!!
Oh gosh thanks Julie haha! I feel like I always wear monochromatic clothing but get colorful with the makeup and hair :P
Not crazy at all. I paint my left hand first. My right is the dominate hand. It's easier to do the good hand first.
I guess Im randomly asking but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..?
I was dumb forgot my login password. I love any assistance you can give me!
@Eliseo Sawyer Instablaster =)
@Jack Brian thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm.
Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
You love short nails, space stuff and you're left handed?! You're the best!
That eyeshadow though❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
:D :D :D thank youuuuu!!
It took me a solid 1/2 year to finally grow my nails out to my desired length, learn how to shape them properly and learn how to apply polish on them. All that time I watched your videos Kelli for morale and inspiration!
I am in LOVE with that eyeshadow. That's all I could stare at the whole video!
Oh my gosh thanks Tricia :)
Anyone else absolutely LOVE LOVE LOOVE nail polish 101s?! I doo😍😍😍
Ahh this makes me so happy! They're my favorite type of video to do.
Yes! So refreshing & facepalm moments at the same time.
Those videos help me perfecting my nail painting skills

That’s actually really smart for nail art. You’ll already have 5 nails of practice done so it can be slightly easier!

ACWells13 Yess! I know what you mean when you say it’s a breeze to finish. It’s also not as frustrating too. 😀
😯 I do the exact same thing!!!
Your first sentence is what she said to do...........?
I love your videos! You are so happy and full of good energy and good vibes! You're drop dead gorgeous, interesting, current, funny and I can't wait until you hit a million subscribers!
Oh wow you just made my day with all your kind words! Haha I'm so happy you enjoy my little videos :) :)
Beverly Sager, her eyes are ALWAYS on point!!!

Yes to the decal video!!
Ooh okay to both!!
Love your hair , your eyelook and your nails. You are so pretty
Oh gosh thank you so much ❤️
Love your tips! Would love to see a video on decal-making. I’ve tried to make my own.. sometimes it’s a big fail. Haha :) love your videos!
Haha I've definitely failed before too! I'm glad you enjoy them :)
I can't even think anything about the square/round nails, cuz I'm still laughing at the armpit mistake 😂😂😂
🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈
Being an ambi is really handy for polishing your own nails :) both of my hands are my good hands 😂
Dangit stop making me jealous!! 😂
Lucky you, but... I am learning how to be an ambi, by using my "bad" hand more often to do lots of things, including writing. Now THAT has been a real challenge. :-)

I'm an ambi to but painting nails is hard for both of my hands
I tried some of these last night and they really helped. My right hand nails actually look better than my left hand, and my dominate hand is my right hand! Thank you!
So glad these tips worked well for you!!
Who else is a lefty?? #southpawsunite
Kelli Marissa I'm a leftie too!!!
it's really weird half of us in my family r lefties and the others r righties
I can use both which comes in real handy lol x
Laura Scrimgeour same but I prefer my left
Kelli Marissa Meeeeeeeeee
I am a lefty too. By the way it was the fun fact that made me hit the like button even more 😁
I am a beginner in nail art and am loving your videos! Especially your stamping vids. Btw, you rock dark lipstick and I wouldn't change your lips! You are stunning as you are.
This is the most useful video on the world of UA-cam. Love you, again!! 🧡🧡
I'm so happy you found it helpful!!! :) Love you too!!
👋🏾 Kelli! This video came at a perfect time. I am literally going through my polishes right now trying to pick a color 😊!
Side note - love the makeup look. That lipstick is so pretty!!
Oh thank you so much :)
Your makeup always looks soooo great!!
Oh gosh thanks so much! Haha
I just discovered your channel today; it is so wonderful and exactly what I needed!

Oh gosh thanks Patricia! I'm glad you can have your pretty nails again :) :)
This is my fav hair color I've seen on you! Omgosh! I love it! This was a very useful video! Love your energy!
Side note...your eye makeup is the prettiest I've seen on UA-cam ever... beats the gurus IMO. Great nail advice too!
Haha thank you so much :)
I love that you're so random😊 xxx
Haha I'm glad you enjoy my weirdness!
Yessss I want a video on it!!
I tried the zip lock bag thing and it works but isn't really easy to take of the bag so for nail art it's not great
Oh that's good to know actually!!
This was soo helpful and soo happy that u r carrying on with nail polish 101 they so helpful
I'm glad to be doing them again! It's been too long haha
This might be my favorite video of yours in entertainment value as well as informative!!! Definitely want to see the video about the mat. Hope i can find it!💜💜💜
hahaha I love your helpful videos with your hilarious intros :D So glad you're on YT!
Oh gosh thank you so much Melissa :)
The nails on my dominant hand are different than on my other hand too. Literally no one ever notices unless I mention it 😂. It's so obvious to me but apparently it's not to other people 🤷🏾♀️
Haha yeah nobody in real life has ever noticed!!
Yes on decals
Okay!
Haha yeah I'm the same way, I just can't do both nails at once!
Came for the nail polish 101 tips but I'm mesmerised by the makeup perfection!
I can never find %100 acetone in Australia I have to use normal nail polish remover with some acetone in it so it takes forever to do clean up
Great advice! I do these myself and so true that everyone assumes everyone knows this! I also use page protectors to make decals as they are sturdier than freezer bags. :-)
By the way - wearing Galaxy Gang on my "Good" hand and it was opaque in one coat! So much easier to have a one coat polish when painting your "Good" hand! Awesome polish!
That's a smart thing to use too!!8 didn't even think of it haha. And I'm so happy to hear that, I'm wearing 1 coat of Galaxy Gang too!!!
Kelli Marissa I love it! Purple is also my favourite colour. 😁
Love the idea of a nail decal 101 video! I'm fairly new to your channel but already am hooked!!
I'm so happy to hear it Tanya! :) Let me know if you have any other video requests.
Kelli Marissa, I just did my manicure today using the techniques you showed I this video and omg it's a game changer! This is the cleanest mani I've ever done. I needed almost no cleanup. Keep making amazing 101 videos, they are great for a newbie lime me! :)
Girl you make me smile with your randomness and the tips :) I tried to do the square nail thing myself, it did not go well haha
I'm glad my videos make us happy haha! I love the look of rounded nails but I think I'll forever keep at least one hand square haha
Painted my good hand first last night and it made a huge difference! Thanks for the tip!
I'm so happy it worked for you!!
Kelli, I don’t know that I could re-adjust to apartment living anymore. I finally bought my own home almost 10 years ago, but I’m 60, so there’s that. For the record, though...I do tend to blast my Beatles music. Sorry (not sorry) lol...You are fabulous!
Haha! It's just wild that people constantly drive down the street playing their music at full volume. It's louder than my TV!
I love these informational videos.
I'm so happy to hear that :)
Oh Kelli. I ❤️ you forever! I tried square nails because yours look so cool, but I did so much damage, and the corners kept breaking off. I had to go back to round, but it was (kinda) good while it lasted! Your makeup looks epic - please do a tutorial xxxx
Haha thanks Lara! I can def do a video for this one!!

That's a smart idea! And haha it's definitely still hard to do.
Also, I work at a beauty supply store and we just got the new OPI fall Peru collection. I'd love to see you swatch and review them before I buy every single color. It's definitely my new favorite collection.
Oh yes I'll be getting them! Hopefully soon haha
kimmi ann you are so sweet! I do get them for free in exchange for my honest review though :)
Kelli Marissa - as you should! I'm anticipating the video. :-)
Yes yes yes to how to nail decals video !!!
And girl your eyeshadow omg i love it so much 😍
Ahh thank you so much!!
Hi, can you list what make up you wear in the description, I love your lipstick and am hoping it’s available in the UK! Thank you 😊
Oh gosh haha I never even thought to do that! I can in the future! The lip is Party Foul by Colourpop :)
Love your shadow 💜💜💜💜
OMG I am so relieved you said that about square nails! I thought I was the only one. XD I keep scratching myself and they're so sharp!
All good tips! I remember when I first got the tip to keep my hand on the table to keep it steady, it blew my mind. It's so much easier!
Haha you're def not the only one! Those square nails are SHARP lol!
I was amazed on how good the eyeshadow is.
Haha thank you!
Can’t wait for the DIY Decal video!
I have tried that myself, it was a disaster to say the least 😂
I have also tried the water decals, so much easier, but i still suck at color-combination ☹️
Such a helpful video. Love the eyes, of course, but what kind and color is that wonderful lipstick?
Haha oh gosh it's by Colourpop I believe it's called Party Foul!
Awesome, thank you. I love Colourpop. 😊
I can’t stop looking at your nails I just ordered galaxy gang and can’t wait to put it on
Omg I'm so excited for you to get it!! I'm still wearing it haha I can't take it off!!
Kelli Marissa I actually am get deep space too 😁😁😁
Hey! Thanks so much for this video!
Decals, yes please! 💅 Could you please, one day, do a video on skin care for the areas all around the nail? Yours always look so healthy and nice would love to know any recommendations/tips!
I was actually thinking of doing this very soon!! I def will!
Kelli Marissa Awesome sauce!! I struggle with dry skin, I do hydrate and moisturize and love my cuticle oils but sometimes just seems to not be enough. I know it's not just me, looking forward to that video with the rest of us dry handers lol
Decals sounds so cool! Yes, do a vid Kelli.
Okay! :)
TY it was pretty much what I have been doing. yes this OPI polish must be a Jelly frumula. Sheer and streaky
Your makeup is to die for!! 😍
Oh gosh thank you!!
What is the difference with cream, gel and jelly polishes? Which ones need to use the drying lamp?
My 2 biggest problems are: painting with my bad hand and flooding my cuticles. I have nerve damage in my left(bad) hand so it's in added difficulty trying to get it to look good.
Yeah that makes things extra challenging!
Hi Kelli, how are you? What a great video. U had some amazing tips. Thanks. Pls do decal video.
So happy you enjoyed Ginny! Will do :)
Great tips! Had to laugh, I honestly didn't notice the holes in your sweater till you said something! 😙
I didn't notice until I stuck a finger in my armpit LOL
Thank you dahlin
That nail color is beautiful is that the zoya nail polish
That's my polish from Starrily called Galaxy Gang! :)
i love videos like this!! please one about the history of nail polish also!
Ooh I better start researching lol!
Also, question: When you swatch New nail polishes, do you take them off right away, or do you wear them around for a little wear test? Last time I swatched a new set I bought, I just wore my swatches for days. I saw on some K-Pop artists that sometimes, that's just all they'd do. Paint each of their nails different colors, and that's already the "design" if you will. My mom's friend liked it and said I was wearing a rainbow on my hands. :) I've been wanting to ask you that for weeks and I think it's a bit related to today's fun fact. I just recently realized that having different nails on each hand is actually like a design of its own, you know?
Anyway decal video! Looking forward to that!
Yes!!!! Decals please!!! 😀
“I just spit a little bit, hope that’s ok” 😂 keep it real. Love it.
Haha glad you enjoyed my weirdness Brittany!
Use a lint roller for easier cleanup. I have TwinkleT’s nail art mat!!!
Ooh good tip!!
Haha I've never used supplements but I do use nail strengthening base coats! But I don't think people will notice if you round out the one hand!
Ahhh they’ll be sorry in 10 years when they need hearing aids.... Thanks for sharing. 🌸🐨🌸
Haha!
Great video thanks. But I must say your square vs circle thing is nuts! And you must know how to file sharp corners off right? Why not have them both the same?
Haha now I keep them both square :)
@@KelliMarissa Be very, very careful you don’t hurt yourself! 💅🏿😱🩸🤬☠️
Square is beautiful really, my favourite.
I'm new to long nails (rather than biting) and scratched myself HARD a few months ago. Back to "training length" for me! 😁 ... AND do we see China Glaze throwback holo polishes? ??
Yesssss I just got them! So excited to give them a try :D
Do you suggest using Essie nail polish 😊
I don't really use it tbh but lots of people love it!
@@KelliMarissa okay thanks for letting me know! 😆
Hi Kelli, loved the video. Please do DIY Decals, would love to see those kinda videos.
I can definitely do that!!
Kelli: *comments about sharp square nails*
Me, actively sharpening my non-dominant hand to useful points: >.>
Seriously, though, I scratch myself pretty often cause I'm a klutz or a doofus.
Haha well hopefully my decal video will help you out! Watermarbling is definitely a tough technique so it's awesome you've mastered it though!
Thanks for all the tips :) ... now about that decals video ... YES PLEASE!!!
Yay okay!!
Yay!!!! More nail 101's! You don't KNOW how fast i clicked on this video.♥ ya
Haha love u too! More 101 videos coming soon!!
Yess!
I tried to make my nails square shortly after I subscribed to you, but I could never maintain it well and I didn't like how sharp they were. I went back to oval pretty quickly.
Haha yeah square nails are a commitment! I don't know how people manage long square nails.
THE NEW PUNKY BREWSTER IS IN THE HOUSE I LOOOVE your style
Haha happy to hear that :)
I don't change the nail shape of my good hand, but the nails are kept way shorter than my bad hand! My bad is looking real good right now tho. No idea how I got them this long without breaking a nail. I hope it stays for the summer as I am enjoying doing nail art right now!
Really great tips! I've learned so much from this series. Thank you. BTW have you used the julep nail wand?
Thank you so much! I actually got it way back when it first came out haha and I thought it was pretty gimmicky.
I love u. I think ur amazing!!!!!! I love ur jumper and ur look, I was sorry to read on your Twitter that someone was insulting u but I hope u have gotten over that and ur other ideas for the 101 series sound amazing!!! Best wishes😀💛
Aw no worries Brid! I never take that stuff personally, some people are just hateful.
Great tips! Love all the 101 series
I'm so happy to hear that :)
I paint my bad hand first and let it totally dry too! My thought process is the same about "what if..." because it never fails that something happens and I need a dry hand!!!
Haha exactly!!
Well alrighty! This was super helpful and I can’t wait to try these tips. I am a spaz and paint my nails in the air (like I just don’t care) and know I should have them on a steady surface but don’t, but will now! 🤪
LOL Tina you are too much! You gotta try the flat surface, it makes a huge difference!
Hahaha I think those quizzes are so dumb and yet I always find myself doing those BuzzFeed quizzes to find out what type of French fry I am 🙄 LOL
Yes I have sqoval because of the vicious corners I try to do very blunt in the centers and to round off as tiny as possible on the corners
Yeah the corners get so sharp!
Your eye shadow gorgeous. GREAT
Oh thank you so much Raquel!
Yes to decal video!
Will do!
Haha yeah you basically just did my whole tutorial in the comments there! I can do a stamping 101 video :)
Kelli Marissa better seen than read & you're much better at explaining things than I am!
Love your eyeshadow and it fits so well with your polish!😍
I'd love to see some decal tips!
Thank you so much! I definitely will!
(Next time I should wait with a comment till the video is completely over ^^ )
Oohh please show us both hands in a closeup? I'd love to see the round ones - square looks awesome but I've found it to be inconvenient as well! I The edges always keep snagging on stuff 😔 so I recently went over to oval/round nails... bit harder to shape for me but I wanna give it a longer while to get used to ^^
Great ideas! Definitely do a decal video please!
Will do!! :)
Hi Kelli, what is the name of the pallet of eye shadow you used in this video ? ....I love the colors they are beautiful...
Thank you so much Tammie! I used the BH Festival Palette :)
THANKS =)
