    Bless this channel and the queens that make these videos. I often find myself wondering how much easier my high school years might've been if I had had the numerous options for menstrual products that I have now.

    Your cup chart is super helpful but I wish the top row of headers was frozen to make it easier to read on a phone. I kept having to scroll up and down when comparing products

      That's been on the to-do list for quite a while and I agree. Some things have been adjusted but that one has been harder to get accomplished.

    I first heard of cups in an adult store where they had the fun cups on display. I though they were a brilliant idea, and they were as smooth and soft as high end "toys." My next period, I went ahead and bought the set. It's interesting as a learning experience as the stem was a different process than tampons. So I tried the Lily cup for the stems, and then learned I don't actually like stems, even with a high cervix. 😲 😅 In the end, my first cup happens to be my Goldilocks after all. 🥰 Thank goodness for naughty stores and introducing me to a new world of sexual health.

    Lol at your vag being booked out until 2023!!
    I like the look of these, but my low cervix bod doesn't.
    I'd love to see a survey or something of all your Facebook group members to work out what percentage of people have low/medium/high cervixes. Then you could give that data (scrubbed, no identifiers) to cup companies to convince them to produce more low cervix cups! (Yes, my motives are selfish here).

    • @PutACupInIt

      Interesting idea. There is data on cervix height out there from scientific studies of the vagina with real numbers, but it's a relatively small sample size. However it's very accurate because it wasn't self-measured and those numbers are super interesting for a vagina nerd to study. I think the demand for low cervix cups is definitely there are we are seeing more, did you see the Cotton Mermaid Guppy? That's the newest low cervix model. -K

    This is my absolutely favoritt menstrualcup. I god my from fun factory for testing after the realise. I love the shape the soft cup , the incide top rim it follows my body perfectly and it is nothing anoyes or a grip stem. 💜💜💜
    I have high cervix.
    I love it and it is the cup I always pic up first.

    I absolutely love my fun cups, they're really comfy and surprisingly easy to take out once you get the hang of it. Put one finger in as far as you can reach, crook your finger in and pull down. I use a kind of wonky C fold that makes the cup very thin so it's easy to insert.
    As for colours, with the bigger size you get a dark blue and a purply one, and with the smaller size you get a turquoise and a hot pink one. I think you get the dark blue and the hot pink in the set with both sizes. I just use the smaller size and the turquoise one is such a nice colour.

      OMG, thank you so much for this comment! It's my very first time with a cup, I surprisingly had no problem with inserting but spent about 40 minutes trying to figure out how to take it out! Your advice worked perfectly and it took just a minute! Thank you again!

    • @pomyata_myata

      Thanks so much! Your advice helped me! I struggled to remove cup sooo much at first, I couldn't grab fun cup with two fingers, they just couldn't fit in me/ one finger is fine, but my thumb just couldn't reach it, guess i have a high cervix. Like, i can touch the stem, but i can't grab the middle with fingers.
      So i inserted middle finger of my left hand as high as possible, grabbed the rim a bit, pushed on a cup to remove suction and tried to pull out. Then when cup got closer, i managed to insert an index finger and grabbed a (still flattened by middle finger)cup by these fingers from the sides. And then took it out. I forgot to wiggle from sides, so it was a biiit painful at the end, but nothing serious.
      Pheeeew, thanks, i was scared i would need a doctor, i couldn't remove it for hour (!!) before i found your comment!

    I tried it soooo many times. I really wanted to like it, but it just doesn't work for me. It doesn't unfold properly and leaks all the time. So I just came back to lunette (and got a bigger size), which works much better for me personally

    • @PutACupInIt
      @PutACupInIt  4 роки тому +5

      From feedback and my own experience I think the Fun Cup is one of those that either works perfectly or just doesn't work. It didn't work for me, despite the comfort, and Lunette is one of my tops. Maybe you're like me and need a protruding rim.

    What do you all do with cups that don't fit you? Or if you try another to see if it works better for you, what to you do with the old one? Trow ir away? Like medical waste? Can it be recycled? It is a working product, just not for you, but you can not give ir away. And I think cups are cool mostly because they are ecologic. But what do you do with one you don't like?

    The only issue I had with menstrual cups was with Meluna, their "capacity" sizes are way off. I ordered a 30ml meluna sport cup and i got a cup the exact same size in capacity, shape and length as a Diva Cup first generation (15 ml capacity) and their customer service was horrible. I have been wearing cups since college, im 34 now. Not all cups will fit you, but I can't back a company where the customer service can fit no one

    • @donw7896
      @donw7896 4 роки тому

      Tru1Tani I hate to say this but meluna is cheap for a reason. I felt finessed by them too. I’m happy I paid an arm and a leg for a couple of skoon and saalt cups. It was worth the money imo. I even tried a skoon knock off called anytime and I could tell the difference quite easily. Even though some are expensive it’s really worth the money for the comfort you get.

    Hi! I have Lily Cup A for my first menstrual cup, and it works for me, not leaking and I can insert and remove it easily.
    The problem is, I feel stuffy when the Lily is there. It's opened up perfectly, I can hear the POP sound, but it feels like the cup is opened too strong for my cervic wall. I though it's probably because the cup went too deep but I have high cervic so I think it's the first. It's stuffy as if there's air that needs to come out, or it's just that my cervic wall is pushing against the cup. It makes me uncomfortable because the 'faint' pain which won't go away. It stressed me out to the point that I had slight fever :(
    For additional information, I pee and poop easily when using cup and I feel fine, but of course I still feel the 'stuffy' feeling
    I thought I should change to softer cup like this one, Fun cup or anything from soft firmness list. Do you think this will help to reduce the pain? And is this stuffy feeling is common for all menstrual cup user? Thank you so much before.

      If you aren't bearing it down to get it low before removal try that first, and then use a square of toilet paper to add some grip when pinching.

    I just bought this over the Organicup, which I’ll probably buy for next month’s try. I’m nervous af and excited at the same time. I’ve been using menstrual cups for 6 years now and have lost all of them lmao 😂. I don’t even know how it happens, but yeah, that’s why I’m experimenting again. Praying this works. I like to stick to my purchases bc safety of material is most important to me even if I’m not 100% happy, but I think I’m going to start collecting cups and experimenting.

    Fun Cup is the first menstrual cup I bought and I generally enjoyed it. I found that a seven fold worked best for inserting it and that you definitely need to bear down to get it low enough to remove. Those grippy bits are not grippy at all! After two cycles or so, you should have a good handle on what's needed to get it in and out.

    Okay guys, I’ve only tried 2 cups, the diva and tampax cup because it’s the only cups I could get in stores near me. (Canada) the problem is when I’ve tried both it feels like they’re “falling out” and by that I mean that when I push them up, like all the way up they still manage to fell like they’re right at my opening.. any advice? I have no problem putting them in and taking out it just feels like heavy? Kinda a fullness feeling at the opening.. maybe I’m really sensitive down there or should I try a short cup? maybe a soft cup? I’m just scared to order online and not a cup work because I don’t have much money to spend, is there any cups with money back?
