First aid kit

Here is a video on the first aid kit I carry in my car as well as the kit I carry in the field. I've used these kits more on other folk's dogs than my own. I feel it's our job to be prepared to take care of these pups and dogs that will give their all for us... sometimes much more than they should causing damage or death to themselves. Of course getting them to a vet is first and foremost, but sometimes you are too far away in the wilderness, fields, or wetlands. Hope you enjoy the info and you carry a kit with you. George

This was great information. Have you ever used Bag Balm? It is great to spread on cuts or tender spots like paw pads.

Great video with a lot of very useful supplies! We are very close to picking up our first Griff. One concern I have with the breed is the coat. I worry about burrs and other weeds getting caught in their long coat. I have heard of some people using oils or conditioners (horse mane/tail conditioners) but I wanted to here your advice? I do not want to spend a bunch of time after every hunt cleaning out the coat.
