Hazel without lead steady on point.

This is the second video with six-month-old Hazel. As you can see, the lead is off, and Hazel is doing great. I have her owner walk back and forth to her to get her used to that movement. Then I have him pet her to keep her calm, all the time praising her and telling her whoa. Then I have him walk in front of her to get her used to him going in front to flush a bird. She remains steady, so I step in to put more pressure on her. At this point, we want a mistake. We want her to move so we can flush the bird and let it get away. As soon as she makes a slight move, I launch the bird. On the next bird, we'll flush the bird while she remains steady and shoot it for a reward. Hazel is rocking it in only her second session.
