Reestablishing The Point

Here I'm working with a three year old WPG who hasn't pointing in years. He's been used primarily for duck hunting and with other flushing breeds. So he lost his point. What I did is stop the chase after the flush. Did my stop-to-flush process. Then used a check cord to help establish a point. After I took away the chase after the flush, help establish a point with a check cord and gave Gus a retrieve for only birds that were pointed his pointing instinct came back as the video shows.
