Jug rinsers are the best. I worked at a cafe with no jug rinser and it was terrible. Had a sink nearby so I had to rinse in between orders. But the cafe I'm at now has a jug rinser and it's the one of the best pieces of equipment for a cafe
I cannot rate these enough, I installed one in our home coffee station. If you are plumbing in your coffee machine the extra effort to install this was minimal. I also installed a filter tap above it which has also been very handy. If you struggle with patience, install this and an in built knock box, we are very pleased with the setup.
@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters My previous workplace had a VBM in the lunchroom and I had wanted an espresso machine ever since. Once our kitchen was done and I’d saved some dough I had the cabinet maker next door to my workshop knock up a station based on a butchers block, 1200x700. He recommended using engineered stone for the top which they could easily cut for all my accessories, it polished up beautifully and is very easy to keep clean. I went for a Rocket R60 and Super Fausto grinder. One side of the machine has an inbuilt knock box that empties into a tray in the draw below, the other side has the 300mm Rhino rinser with a water filter tap above it. Everything is plumbed off the same 0.5micron filter including the fridge next to it (minimizing items to be maintained). The rinser, tap, filter and knock box would have been about 10% of the total build cost but save 50% of the time needed to clean up. If things are annoying or messy to use they don’t get used as much as they should! Love your channel mate!
I can think of some (obvious) downsides of jug rinsers: - the costs of purchase and installation - the fixed space they use - having to rinse them I love jug rinsers and the advantages outweigh the disadvantage imo but, like with almost everything, there are some (minor) disadvantages.
Yeah that’s fair enough. I’m definitely looking at it from a quality of coffee and workflow view but I can see you points for sure. Thanks for the input. Jimmy ✌🏻
Guys u are awesome in what you do, but would you consider to do shorts about specific things? sometimes we lack time so shorts would be powerfull. Greets from Germany
Thanks Matty. We’re trying to film shorts when we film long form videos and we’ll have more out soon. Thanks for the feedback, good to know they would be of value to you. Cheers Jimmy ✌🏻
Hey 👋🏻 thanks for watching. Yes, all coffee machines need to be filtered to protect the machine as well as maintain the best water hardness for flavour. Jimmy ✌🏻
Great video as always. Btw are those marshmallows used for hot drinks like coffee and hot chocolates?? Would it be a good idea to sell them as add ons for hot drinks??

Once you know you know 😉
As an interior designer THANK YOU! You answered all of my questions if not more!

You packed a LOT of very useful information into that short 12m video. Well-organized presentation!
Thanks 😊

👍 (I was just being my pedantic self 😉)
Great info as usual 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
2:01 Well, with arms like Jimmy has, you can reach just about everywhere without having to move. 😉😂
😂 no rinser is ever too far away from me.

What layout tips would you recommend for best work flow in a drive thru coffee trailer?
You did not talked about automatic rinser. Was hoping to get some info on them.
No we missed those in this video sorry. Try this one here: artisti.com.au/blogs/product-reviews/i-rinse-jug-rinser-review
Nice video! Question, do all your LMs in your line of cafes use filtration systems before it goes into your LM? Interested to know, thanks!
Hey 👋🏻 thanks for watching.

Hi there, thank you for the video, what side of the espresso machine do you recommend putting the jug rinser?
The same side you froth milk and pour out your coffee, which is the side you should pass your coffee to a customer
Do you have any recommendations for cleaning products for the drains of the rinsers - to reduce the build up of milk residue in the waste pipes
We suggest the liquid Cafetto. You’ll find it on artisti.com.au
Why don’t they use these in bars to rinse the glasses after they dip them in the disinfectant tub?
I've been looking at putting one in my pantry for home use. Do you guys sell them?
Yes we sure do! You will find it here: artisti.com.au/products/rhino-pitcher-rinser-square-150mm-spinjet
Great video as always. Btw are those marshmallows used for hot drinks like coffee and hot chocolates?? Would it be a good idea to sell them as add ons for hot drinks??
Yep, hot chocs and baby chinos.
Good idea selling them separately.
