I’ve done a lot of boat mods over the years…currently in the process of rethinking my whole set up. I really like what you’re doing, and without welding…😎👍
Mate I boat build for a living and i tell you that this is pretty damn impressive. I dont know how much all that aluminium cost you but its great to see you took your time. Well done mate.
Hey mate, thanks for sharing your build process. How’d you go about getting every bit of aluminium shavings out after drilling the holes for rivets? 😂 good to see you using tefgel between your (i assume stainless) rivets and the floor.
Cool build. One suggestion: instead of the foam and then screwing the floor down you could use 3M VHB double sided tape. Super strong. I've used it for offroad trailer floors and it sticks like nothing else. No need for fasteners and it would do the same job as the foam as well. You only get one chance when gluing the sheet down though.
After a few hours of repairing holes in a new cheapy tinny. Im.glad to see you use tef gel and sikaflex. The idiot b4 me put screws and rivets in holes. All that did was cause more corrosion.
Great boat Great misses Great dedication and planning Great workmanship Just loved watching this, inspirational, educational video mate, been ta Bunnings, apparently the young staff are unable to provide me with a ruler or tape capable of measuring a B's dik or a Nat's nakka, guess I'll have to guess.
Hey mate, you can get them from Anaconda. They are Ok, they have some sideways movement even when tightened right up, but are fine for now. Thanks for watching!
Hi Jamie, Thanks for the videos your posting. 3mm plate for the deck. What thickness did you use for the supporting angle/T pieces/ U sections? Also 3mm? Regards
Mate bloody epic build and great content I’m about to do a build for my little cutter deluxe and you’ve given me so much ideas legend !! New sub from Hervey Bay :D
Well done looks great very neat also. How have you found the riverts instead of welding any problems with them pulling or breaking. What are the latches you also used for the lids are they lockable
Pretty mean build there bro! I'm just about about to do something similar to my new to me rig 😅 . I've got 2 questions for you, 1, what were you putting on the rivets? And 2 how have you found fuel vapour/smell with the tanks under the floor?
Hey mate, the stuff on the rivets is Tefgel/duralac which is a lanolin based gel which stops the reaction between two different metals. The fuel vapor hasn't been a problem, it isnt fully sealed in there as there is a ventilation gap under the rear seat to the transom. Thanks for watching!👍
Still think it would be worth it to fit a rectifier to motor and run it to the battery to charge it .... really inexpensive to do yourself...the spare wires to do it will be there as part of the loom...👍
Greetings from the US. Nice job on the build. Here we have the Tiny Boat Nation (check him out on UA-cam). What boat is that (manufacturer and size)? Is it going to be a car topper?
This is absolutely the best tinny project I ever seen (both parts).
Thanks for watching mate👍

Thanks for the kind words mate🍻
Totally agree what a professional job hey .
Pretty damn cool. I’ve watched heaps of tinny fit out vids, but this one is by far the coolest. Gives me some ideas for my tinny. Cheers
Thanks for watching, Miko!
What a ripping job. Have been searching for a no weld option and now you have shown me how. Thanks heaps for sharing.
Thanks for watching Chris, good luck with yours! So far the deck is still holding up great!
Do you find the floor too high? Stability and ability to brace knees while fishing?
Great jerb. About due to replace my plywood/carpet floor of my tinny. So, I'll be interested to see how your alli/carpet holds up.
Nice boat setup mate time to
Get Some
Absolutely beautiful my friend great work
Cheers mate, thanks for watching👍
Well done mate
Yes you need to insulate stainless and aluminium as long the cloth tape doesn’t hold water you’ll be right
A thin coat of silicone or mastic would have been better.
Nice job on tinny....gives me a few ideas when i start mine shortly cheers Paul from Melbourne

Great job mate. She’s a beauty!
Really enjoyed this build.
Great work Jamie! Hope you fill that esky with some good fish 😎 🎣
You've done the best build 9n U toob bud well done inspirational and proffessional
Why do you silicon the rivets?
Makes you wonder how far behind the manufacturers are in fitting out boats.
That's a great build mate 👍🏼

nice work, what did the fit out end up costing you ? and is that an english accent you keep slipping into ?

Very impressive aluminum work! What is the thickness of the aluminum deck?
It's 3mm! :)
Bloody good job Bunge
Hey mate, you got a rough idea of how many meters of ally you used for the framing
Awesome build mate thanks for sharing! Do you recall the brand of the storage box in the seat, it looks great.
Thanks mate, it is the glovebox that came with the stacer from factory.👍
@@IgnoreTheRust cheers mate
Well done great work.

It all been great. No movement at all. The latches are from Bunnings and they are lockable- they come with keys. :)
@Ignore The Rust thxs so much.
Once again excellent now enjoy all your hard work
Bloody awesome job guys. Looks the goods! 👍🏼
Hey mate thickness plate did u use
Hey Blake, 3mm plate👍.
@@IgnoreTheRust legend. Smick build champ stuff the welder lol
@@IgnoreTheRust What livebait tank insert do you have? cheers
One from the stacer factory. It was an add on we did when ordering the hull.
Do you have any fuel gauge or how do you keep an eye on it being under the deck?
Hey mate, the tank has a dodgy gauge on top but I always fill the tank up before heading out (25L) and carry a spare 10L to be safe.

Already done it mate, she goes good!
Should of painted the hinges black or grey
Well done. What part of the world was shown in the water tests..Airlie Beach or Hinchinbrook?
Hi Ian, It's our back yard at Hinchinbrook!
Good work
Greetings from the US. Nice job on the build. Here we have the Tiny Boat Nation (check him out on UA-cam).
What boat is that (manufacturer and size)? Is it going to be a car topper?
I don’t know how I missed it…a Stacer 389 Territory
Hey Chris, it's a Stacer territory 389 it's 4.1m long and 1.9m wide. Its too big for a car topper. We will just tow it along. 😊
L I K E 👍 👍 👍 👍👍 🌟 ⭐ 🌟 ⭐ 🌟 🤩❣🤩❣🤩🤩
Fuckin beaut! Good stuff mate.
