It feels like hide-n-seek and ambush-and-retreat plays are more often of occurence at DeSalle, thanks to a unique terrain.
I also find that I mistake trios for duos or even solos more often - there is also more potential for waiting out for the revive unseen and unheard after the successful ambush.
The spawn directly west of Moses Poultry is actually a spawn, I got that one yesterday and got in a fight with a team that spawned directly south and one that spawned at Kingsnake. Bloodiest wheat field battle of my career.
The fort spawns seem to always have 2 teams spawn close together. So far every match I've had where I spawn at fort I've immediately had to fighg another team.
Keep up the great work!
I can confirm both spawns at Ash Creek Lumber (Traintrack and road between the rivers that you didn’t mark).
I’ve been sniped from the river location while running on the train tracks 8 seconds into the game.
Great Spawn
I’m very excited for the new map. I just picked up the crossbow with shotgun bolt with deadeye nagant. Deadeye Nagant with velocity rounds catches so many hunters off guard.
Hey man thanks for the boardgame channel youtube link! Appreciate it.
Good vid!
Anyone know the name of the song in the end credits?
Is this map live on PlayStation yet ?
I think this like to dislike ratio represents the quality of this channel 👍
LETS GOOOOOOO
map reminds me of red dead
Agreed
Wasn't there a change a while back where spawns would only happen with at least one spawn point between the spawning teams? Or have I dreamt this? I don't think I have ever seen a team spawn right next to me, so I have never had a reason for questioning that information, but you only mention the 'every other spawn' as the 'more common scenario' - but does that mean that neighboring spawns are still possible?
Immediate spawns are absolutely possible, and I find that they happen rather regularly at least on the two previous maps.
It's a common point of confusion, because a minimum distance between extract points was added a few updates ago.
@@4FSGaming Ok, that makes sense. Thank you for clearing that up and being gracious to point out that I am not alone in my confusion.
i had like 2 spawn fight in like 70 round and the day they added old map in the rotation i had 3 spawn fight in 3 round ... coincidence ?
Good Chit boys!!! And yes meant chit
the most important thing i learned is never push from pelican prison to seven sister estate, is brutal
Didnt the devs introduce a minimal distance in between spawning Teams Long ago? Like 100-150m
You mistake that for introduction of a minimal distance between exit points.
@@Olothur Ah ok thank you... thought that was fpr spawns
I think the map is great. Lots of cover makes getting behind your opponent easy.
Agreed, this is by far my favorite thing about it. I feel that I see much more exciting and aggressive play on DeSalle since you can rotate so easily. Even scared players move around more and are more likely to engage since the multitude of entrances and exits in most places encourages movement
angy auby
playing solo is very hard with the new map's many entrances in complexes
I disagree. I think with map knowledge, solos will be able to turn the tide with all the rotations
I've been having a really hard time surviving too. Even if I get like, 5 kills, it always feels like there's also so many long range, open sight lines that another group spots you and just comes right to you. I ended up having to take a break because I'm not really even sure what to do in the game anymore at this point without just hiding and killing AI because trying to kill a bounty solo is suicide unless you've cleared the map of other players first in my experience.
Well, I find a lot of exits and high grounds an advantage for solo. There is a lot of ambush potential, and ways to escape with a bounty without fighting at each compound.
@@electrium3556 Same, I find the new map very hard to play solo unless you're running sniper, which I would prefer not to do every single game. Been taking a break as well
This game is fun, I am just not good enough to play it unfortunately. Just end up running around for 15 minutes before I get blasted out of no where without getting to actually fight with anyone lol. I enjoy watching gameplay of it though.
play in trios and eventually you will learn. I suck but you can have good games. Sometimes you can seek out fights
this game is aging like fine wine
Thanks mate. I'll put this to use next month when us console peasants are thought of.
my favourite part of playing on the new map is going around and saying ,,oh (insert name of location from old maps) where did that come from?'' whenever l see reused assets
poultry is salter pork 2.0
Xbox gang 😔
Yeah man, when is it coming to console?
Sadness
Bro I’m on Xbox too wanna play sometime?

@@rileygrahek3026 sometime in August I read
I'm not a fan of the new map personally. I do not like its sheer density of foliage. It makes it harder for my eyes personally to see as I have color issues. There is a few compounds I enjoy, primarily in the upper left quadrant of the map. But personally I think the older maps had better balance for weaponry. Almost every fight I've had, barring I think two in fifty or so matches, (yes that few) have been dominated by shotgun use. Desalle's immense amount of cover grants shotguns such a high advantage when it comes to closing the gap. I still stand by the first two maps as the best maps of Hunt, and I think Lawson is my favorite of the two.
That honestly pretty interesting since I have had the opposite experience. Granted I don’t have color issues but I do agree the dense foliage can make it tough to see enemies but I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I’ve been testing various loadouts from a shotgun/uppercut to a sparks sniper loadout and I feel like it’s really balanced. Granted I have to adjust my positioning accordingly but I feel the new map gives so many options for how to play to your loadouts strengths and depending on your current weapon setup can make fights within a compound feel wildly different each time. While I do love the other two maps with Stillwater being my favorite (purely nostalgic, I know it’s probably the worst map) I think this new map will quickly become the best hunt map we have, especially once people start getting more comfortable and learn different angles and positions.
How to play DeSalle:
Don't camp and be mobile
what the fuck are you doing with a cenntenial without levering? take the godamn vertelli
sorry for the dislike but there wasn't one good video have a good day
