Like I said at the end of this video, there are a few characters in S tier that could go to broken. If that were the case then I'd say: Dragunov, Nina, Eddy, Yoshi, and Xiaoyu. NUFF SAID
Xiaoyu is not broken. Like seriously she’s one of the easiest characters to beat. And now saying that as a Xiaoyu main, but she really is not broken

Pretty much this 100%. I'm sick of hearing the community bitch about Yoshimitsu while he is never represented in tournament play. I really hope scrubs don't get him nerfed into the ground to near uselessness again.
@@Arnuld15Governator top yoshi players said they were ready for nerfs because he needed them and then they buffed him he isnt represented bc their is very few that play him at that level and even fewer who go to tourneys. while i agree this list isnt a great list, yoshi isnt over hyped he is really good right now and thats very clear.

Some of yall hating too much, I actually really liked this video. As a person who typically watches pro tierlist videos with a lot more explanation of the characters rather than going by feel, this was a real breath of fresh air 🤍

In high rank Victor is a monster to deal with LOL doing 50/50s 24/7 switching out stances I honestly think he's close to S tier.
This video is more about how much you like the characters. Maybe learn the match ups before doing a tier list because you pretty much put characters in S tier because you don’t like them.

@@the_lastshin2189 themainmanswe did a good one, devil jin is bad bc he got absolutely no poking, which was his defining trait previously and made his moveset work, now they took his poking, gave it to jin and gave devil jin one of the best heat smashes + his heat state was pretty good as well
Now they nerfed him every patch to the ground, his fundamentals, his heat smash is now garbage too, which leaves devil jin with nothing but electrics and stylish moves, otherwise he truly is bottom 5 currently

As a lili player i would say she is a tier. Her nerfs made her more unsafe. I get the voila kick and how her knockdown 50/50 resets were mad. But the other nerfs she got were unnecessary
Tekken players liking to fight a single character challenge ( impossible )
King is so strong and broken that we see him in every grand final and wins every tourney since the game’s launch. That’s why all top 8 are full of king players because he is so broken and easy to win with at a competitive level of play.

People are knocking on this tier list because it doesn’t completely mirror ones from evo champions but this is literally a more accurate tier list for 99% of the online player base. Actually really respect that this isn’t just some low effort parroting of arslans list or something. That’s for the top 0.01%, but this list is actually more Accurate for the average player, even high ranks

The evaluation of the characters in this clip is very nice, and I know that you do not like the character of Dragunov. It is true that his movement is slow, but he is one of the most damaging characters, and he is also the only character whose finishing move takes 35% of the opponent’s life ❤
His movement is NOT slow. He has a strong KBD and decent sidestep. I don’t know what you’re on
One launch is round end for drag . U can get 70 percent damage . Then there is 50/50 wr2 and d2 , throw mix up . In heat he has launching heat engager. His damage should be half at least .
Not gonna lie, that Jun take is sizzling hot. It sure would be nice to have actual reasoning behind the placements and not just "oh em gee, so stronk, plz nerf, S-tier!" PhiDX and Arslan have both said she's really bad. I suppose two tourney players just don't understand what makes characters strong.
this. predictable strings, sucky lows and sacrificing health for a little bit more combo damage... some characters in Tekken have a 50/50 mixup without input difficulty.
The argument you make about Hwoarang is an argument you could make about so many of the other characters too: They lose a lot of strength against people who know how to counter them.
Eddy especially. That dude is not S-tier. Mostly people lose to him because they don't know wtf is going on, but it's a matter of his moves being confusingly telegraphed (intentionally so), they aren't actually scrubby or overly powerful. He is a true knowledge check character.
Also, if you wanna make the case the Hwoarang is somehow in a lower tier because he is hard to master... Well, doesn't that same logic apply to Yoshi, Xiaoyu, Kazuya and Nina?
It sounds like you are mostly going off of your gut feeling here, which is fine, but it doesn't really teach me anything about these characters' strengths and weaknesses.
He put hwoarang in the perfect tier so i dont know why the discussion of mastering is coming from same for eddy he just hates

DJ is only there cause the LACK of knowledge i have on him with these recent patches. for some reason i see so many people saying he's bad. and Reina gets nerfed like every patch and just doesn't seem nearly as strong as she once was. again this is just my personal preference.
Play reina and devil jin back to back and please tell me how equal they are 😂 really wild placing for devil jin ngl
@@MadMikeYT ye he became rare do to so many nerfs, he did get nerfed every patch, and since he was quite incomplete, his biggest advantage was being the newest by a gameplay point of view, when his match-up was figured out, even without the nerfs he would be just high A, at most low top 10, but after those nerfs he is only better than panda, he has a small movelist and lost lots of combos and techs, like the ferrari tech, and since most of his original tools and fundamentals like poking were given to jin, he basically is a worse kazuya now, and it doesn't help the fact he is probably the second hardest character in the game
Also his hellsweep now is bad, at most it can do 45 dmg out of a full combo that often whiffs, and he has no other decent low.
King the only one in broken? Dragunov is way stronger for example

This is NOT a tierlist! You don't even use over half of your tier-slots.
Just OK tier? THRASH tier? Why are you making those tiers if they stay empty anyway?
A true tierlist exist out of the tiers: S, A, B, C and D, with every tier having at least 3 to 4 entries (depending on how large the roster is).
If you rate 90% of the characters A or S tier, you should not make a tierlist at all to begin with!

My favorite is Dragunov
Yoshi in the same tier with Nina Dragunov Feng 🤔 Shaeen even weaker than Yoshimitsu, Eddy at the same level as Nina. There seems to be something wrong with me but in the end it's just my opinion
They gave king the wavedash, because they didnt nerf his oki, but REMOVED it. He himself is in mixup situation if he muscle busters kuma or panda, which is absurd and makes no sense. They overnerfed him, or nerfed him in a wrong way, so they didnt event give him a wavedash, since he always had one, but they relaxed the execution. As long as alisa, xiayou, jin, Leo, and nina exists the way they do, no one has the right to rant about king. My opinion.

Hey wassuo Geralt! Didn't know you had video games in your timeline. Anyway, you're absolutely right. Cause you or me could say that for every character. In the end, it's a fighting game, you vs the other player. If you lose or are constantly getting hit by the same move, we only have ourselves to blame. The reason I said that for Hwoarang is because his entire 4444 string is duckable and super punishable. Am I biased? Sadly yes. But it's my Tier list soooo

The fact you put raven in A-->S means that you either suck at the game OR that you don't know his matchup nearly enough so you get "Raven Taxed".
I don't think you suck at the game (despite you playing Whorang, eugh...) so there aren't many other options.
Current Raven is a straight downgrade compared to T7 Maven,.
He has the same problem Steve had with Lionheart stance but didn't get fixed, and on top of his general inconsistencies and Egregious risk/reward tools, his best moves got nerfed and he lost 4 launchers in the process (cause he had Soooooo many good ones...).
The only reason you see any Raven player is because most of us are loyalists and some new player gets tricked by how stylish he is.

Mulgold and Shadow are S tier, Claudio is B tier. Plus they are playing on borrowed time because he probably won't be back in future games, maybe DLC.
I like this tier list because it shows a different prespective from the usual pros who know everything about the game while I do think you should specify that you are a casual player

This isn’t even a proper tier list. This is a “who I struggle against in ranked” list. King is not broken, Alisa is not below S tier. Xiaoyou, jack, eddy, Paul, Claudio and Bryan aren’t S tiers. And Jin is probably the only broken character along with Alisa. Scrub player tier list

my mans kazyu is not S-tier in my respectful opinion kazyu is at the top of B-tier kazyus entire gimmick is 50-50 and he is a combo based character with a one duckable launch “Perfect electric wing god fist” and DF2 is a counter hit launcher which is punishable on block as well as WR2 “DF2 is down forward 2 and WR2 is while rising 2” but worth kazyu you need good execution and good fundamentals if you don’t have that you won’t make it as a kazyu play
hworang at A-tier does make sense i would put him at low A-tier just because he has great frames doesint mean you can’t beat him people will always talk smack no matter who you play
now for jack “this might be a little biased but i’ll try to keep it honest because he’s my main” Jack is basically hworang but better because Jack has the pressure of hworang with nearly Kuma level damage so i would put him in high A-tier or low S-tier i put him there because you can get around the pressure all you need to do is be patient and try to predict when Jack will use gamma howl 2 which is a guard break in heat is a high so if you duck it you can simply launch punish it try to NOT to get cornered by Jack because if you do the chances of you winning is 1-100 :/

Disagree on a few but I feel yah. Dropping Hwoarang while buffing some characters like Paul is one of the great mysteries. Or you can notice that a lot of karate characters have moves with huge hit boxes which also hit grounded and sometimes track. The top tier always seems to feature Paul, Jin, devil Jin, Steve, Feng... 🙄 Not a coincidence I'm sure. Also a Hwo main and always underwhelmed by his hitboxes and lack of tracking. Not asking for d3 4 to be reverted but people not crushing my (high 🤷🏾♂️) mids would be pleasant. Keep at it.
Hmm I like this interesting tier list but as a Jin main I believe his lows need to be 2 frames faster because his lows are all reactable at 20 to 22 frame including hellsweep minus d4. I know you brought up D2, but that move is 22 frame and it's pretty reactable and has to be used sparingly. I would put him A tier like hworang. No pressure tool other than the ones from zen stance and his stance cancel is almost impossible to do, meaning he cant block from his stance transition makes him also hard to use and compared to dragunov and Alisa his lows are mediocre because drags d2 is 18 frame and not launch punishable. His high to low transition pokes are also unsafe and slow like 2, 1, {4 4}. Finally, other than his heat smash his heat state power-up is almost non-usable except near the wall and his power crush is hard to use due to being too slow and it forces side change and his high power crush is 21 frame and only comes from the stance making it hard to use. Jin requires tremendous match up knowledge as well because other 50 percent of his damage comes from punishes .Again, this is just my opinion lol
I would also put Alisa on broken because of her chain saw attacks and her movement and lateral movement is really good like Lili along with Yoshi with movement and flash

If u think Jack or Yoshimitsu is are in a higher tier than Steve or Reina then u are really start play in this game. I think the problem is u are in Raijin where the game is just beginning cuz others ranks like Mighty ruler or FlameRuler is still kindergarten. For ppl in comments guys don't waste time for this bullshit video this guy is in Raijin rank so in this rank ppl starting learning others matchups so i wasted 23 min of my life. The system changes hurt King far more than he benefits from having an easier wavedash. He didn't get "nerfed tracking on some throws". All of his command throws (except for one) now do not track. This means he now has to use an i18 move for homing. Also, if King is so broken, then why is he no longer regularly appearing in top 8s?
