But no other game gives me the meta satisfaction of the counter breaker reads (and shadow counters) , GGST was the closet modern game with RC and Bursts but it's just not the same, the announcer to so hype too!
Can any one explain if killer Instinct is so great why it disappeared and if MK is so bad why its always the best selling fighting game?
Respect to the guy that said Street Fighter x Tekken, I wanted that game to work so badly but damn it dropped the ball 😭😭😭😭
If there was a version without the gems I would agree,
13:01 bro stopped snoop dogg at the fighting tournaments
BRUH no one said BLAZBLUE but blazblue tag!? WTF
Garou being trash tier is insulting
No truer words spoken
Terry Bogard literally just passed at 3:35
The golden era of fighting games was really CVS2 and MVC2 out at the same time. Nothing will ever compare...
Foreal only the goats remember
Thank you for your commitment to sound methodology in research. These results are indisputable, and you are a true scholar.
hey this one of the best funnest coolest tier list iveseen.. they didnt get it right but home boy kept it fun and fair and asked every one why they chose..keep up this content my boy you fittin to get paid!!!
melty blood music but no melty blood on tier list
Melty Blood OST > Melty Blood (video game)
MBAACC is definitely one of my favorites, incredibly fun game
Melty Blood is trash. Doesn't even deserve to be on the list.
Niche game, nobody cares about it like that
MBAACC brought in some real gamers to the fgc, it’ll never get the respect it deserves from any modern chump gamers
Diaphone has legs?
And tall?!
unbelievable
Not for long
He’s like a mermaid. He can only grow them on tournaments days
This was pretty fun. Well done. I have an affinity for Rival Schools but couldn't bring myself to call it GOAT. Unlike older bangers like Soul Cal, MvC2 and 3rd Strike, it doesn't REALLY have the longevity I think to hold up to today's standards, but I have a special place in my heart for that game.
I don't play or watch fighting games but I saw this on Twitter and this is a super cool video. However Diaphone, I need your personal tier list IMMEDIATELY for comparison
This is great! I enjoy everyone's reactions, and reasoning. Please do more community stuff! :D
We are just having this discussion because of SF2 and MK2
Garou is a masterpiece of fighting games, it looks like they are casual players
No Killer Instinct? The 1994 arcade cabinet is the best fighting game ever made to me.
These kids know nothing
I was really waiting for Killer Instinct too lol 😢
My Goat: Ultra Street Fighter 4 & 6, MK 10&11 and Tekken 7.
Amazing: Dragon ball Z Budokai 3, MK 9, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Injustice 2, Street Fighter 3rd Strike
BBTAG being on the list but not central fiction actually is so upsetting.
yea thats absolutely crazy central fiction is an infinitely better game
As true as that is BBTag has a really nice niche. It's a really easy to get into tag team fighter for new players. I got so many people to start playing fighting games in general by playing BBTag with them. Also it has another kind of niche in that there aren't that many modern tag team games that are fun to just pickup, and play with people that are decent at other fighting games, but don't really have a tag team game they are good at. I really like BBTag even though it's got it's issues for sure. @@zaki1ss
I know right. Also nobody showing love for my GOAT GGXrd
Adding crosstag but not centralfiction is a warcrime. Fun video !
I just noticed that omg what is wronf with people
Loved hearing the responses!
Garou on the bottom?? Dang.
If I were to pick, KOF 98 UM (97 is awesome, but I think 98 covers all the bases), and even though Alpha 2 is my favorite of the Alphas, Alpha 3 is awesome. I love Third Strike, but Alpha 3's a whole package.
We all good different tastes and I think that's what makes it cool.
Tekken 5, MvC2, Third Strike, KOF 13, Bloody Roar all goats. Surprised there was only one Tekken game
Now that you mention it, yeah! At least have Tekken 3 on there too!
I was about to say, where the hell is Bloody roar or Rival schools? Also would put Tekken 3 up there as it was a top dog back in the days.
@@lolcreloux yep, should've added atleast one bloody roar title
Bloody Roar yeah!!!
good ass vidoe dia, making ppl switch the games was a sick way to keep it fun.
n damn cant believe no one brought up plus r, virtua fighter 5, skullgirls or melty...
This video is so cool seeing the bros sharing opinions and everyone is having a good time.
Bro I stand by KOF15 being godlike, loved this video
Man, why wasn't UMK3 (Arcade) mentioned?
Very happy MK II was mentioned - MK 1 was revolutionary and the sequel took that to new heights and UMK3 took 2 to even newer heights.
This was a fun video to watch, thanks for the upload!
FACTS. I still play it too this day. MK trilogy too
This!! UMK 3 started the combo wave. Scorpions leg kick combo and cyrax will forever be legendary!
Surprised melee was that high, dude who put melee in amazing is so smart. Best i couldve hoped for since the fgc lowkey despises us.
Only wish I also saw SSF2T and Alpha 3 on this list.
Alpha 3 was crazy ❤
This is a trash tier tier list. I'm liking the IRL format, great video!
Tekken 5 is top tier.
Because the boss for the arcade mode would record your inputs and create a perfect counter play to fight you. The longer the fight lasted, the harder it became. You could only win by being better than yourself
how has none of them said bloody roar , killer instinct??? hurts my soul
I love this video so much man! Always good to be reminded how chill and friendly the fgc community can be
I love how he said "best fighting game of all time" and like 90% heard "whats you favorite fighting game"
11:35 GIVE this man a standing ovation for naming an actual GOAT game , SHAME on those who put it down to Trash tier , none of em have taste .
fuck yeah
Love how he actually gives a GOOD reason for why he thinks its the best
If this happen in South America, KOF2002 would be the goat for sure
KOF98 is the GOAT… KOF2K2 is after.
De hecho México es el país "Kofero".
Argentina, Paraguay y Uruguay el más popular es Mortal Kombat (Scorpion tomando "Mate" es parte de la cultura de internet argentino)
Chile Mk y Smash
Bolivia Tekken
Brasil Street fighter
Peru Kof - Tekken
Colombia - Guilty Gear
Ecuador - Venezuela = ????
True, it is always 98 or 2002 here, but it is also something I’ll never agree with as 02 is basically a great roster (not going into balance) accompanied by some of the worst presentation ever made, with some of the worst looking stages and hud in the series and a weak ost.
Was pretty happy with seeing 97 being high ranked for most of the video though.
@@Enemigodelan695 KoF and the vs series were by far the most popular fighting games in Brazil post sf2 era. You could find MvC and KoF 96~98 in random bars.
Even in Africa I agree with you on that part a childhood with KOF2002 is incomplete
I‘ve only ever played SF6 and Smash Bros., but this was very entertaining to watch. A fun way to make a tier list
Sf4 not being on the list is wild! lol
Thank you for giving me the most painful experience I have ever enjoyed. Didn't know this emotion existed.
16:45 has to be the most "I dont know what I'm talking about" statement I've ever heard in my life
Hey Diaphone, your haircut's pretty fresh!
Mortal kombat 2 was the GOAT at A.I cheating
No shade meant at all, but this is truly an interesting mix of humans.
That tear list is disrespectful to my ❤ as well. 😂❤️🩹
really fun video. Full of surprises. Everyone has something unique they love or hate! Loved it. Good job, you got this!
Great video, but damn I wish I was there to add "Tatsunoko vs Capcom" in goated. Like how you got everyone's opinion on why also. It really helps.
If I was walking around I would have put Primal Rage on there as a troll. Good luck getting an arcade cabinet!
this video had me rolling, would love to see more of these
13:00 Snoop Dogg in the FGC? Even sounds like him 🤣
Dude that said MVC2 was trash used to get bullied on that game probably 😂
Facts 😂
Goat tier for me would be 3rd Strike, Garou, Samsho 5 Special, Killer Instinct, MK Deception 😈
3rd Strike and Garou definitely.
No Street Fighter 4 has made me lose some hope i had in humanity
I'm not a fighter fan but I watched this vid IN FULL for some reason. God bless.
Thats the rare SF x Tekken fan you'll see once every 5 years 😂
Justin Wong is aways there too
I'm glad that the dude put Mortal Kombat 2 on the list.
for me this game defines the aesthetics of Mortal Kombat (effects, design, music, sounds),
all other games in the series are unsuccessful experiments that have lost the face of MK.
