Ah yes. Some people (not everyone) don’t really appreciate the amount of work Pyro puts into these videos. It is my favourite series on this channel due to how unique a “talk show” channel if I’ll put it at that but it is a very good break from ASOT (blank) has it a new low etc. Trust me I love this channel and I love the direction this channel is going. If they did it properly, they could have multiple teams working on each entry (Metal Gear 1-2+PW done by the same team, then MGS1-2 & 3-4 done by two separate ones) then release it monthly a few years from now. Or do 1 a year for the next 7 years since the engine has already been made and the Mother Base map could be reused for MG1.

The best remastered edition of a game i have ever seen is Age Of Empires 2 Definitive Edition
Age Of Empires 2 is an historical live-action game published in 1995. In single player you choose a civilization and play agains other civilization that is controlled by AI. There can be from 2 to 8 players/bots in the game. So you start off with a townhall, a few villagers and a scout. The villagers are used to collect materials(Wood, Food, Gold, Stone) the villagers can also build different structures. The scout is a military unit that is weak but its used mainly to scout. In the game you progress by going to the next age. First you start in the dark age, then you pass to the feudal age, then to the castle age and finally to the imperial age. All buildings do their things. To be better than the opponent you can research stuff. Each building may offer something different to research or it has special stuff. To defeat the enemy you must make an army and fight the opponent or you can build the wonder. Wonders come in the imperial age and for every single civ there is a different wonder. The game has campaigns which are connected to the present civilizations. The campaigns are usually like stories about legendary stuff that happened to a specific civ and more like a section of a history of a civ made in a game. The game has integrated history book which tells the history behind a civ. AoE2(Short for Age of empires 2) has multiple expansions and the most popular is the Conquerors one. Those expansions add music and civs and more campaigns.
This game has a legendary soundrack specially Conquerors expansion.
There was a remaster of the game in 2013 named Age of Empires 2 HD which had all expansions integrated.
Now i am talking about Age of Empires Definitive Edition. This had all expansions, art of war which was kind of a tutorial to the game, better graphics, remastered soundtrack and sounds and multiple other features(also more civs) the only things that it missed was the legendary old soundtrack. AoE2 Conquerors expansion was the first game that i have ever played but its remastered version didn’t in-fact make the game lose its ecstatic old look but it made me love the remastered version. I miss nothing from the old 1995 game that i grew up with in the remastered version
I recommend you checking out Age Of Empires 2 if you like games like Civilizations or Starcraft

I’ve played skyrim multiple times on multiple platforms and I can tell you the Skyrim remaster is so unnoticeably different that I can not believe how it got sold as a remaster. It’s like looking at the same game through an Instagram filter. They literally didn’t change the polygonal models of anything at all. It’s such a shame because a genuine skyrim remaster where they actually change how any items in the game other than the trees look would be breathtaking.
I find it hilarious how mods can do a better job at remastering the game than Bethesda can ever do. The mods probably can do 16x the detail than Bethesda.

Stewart Copeland's overseeing some of the work on the music remastering (or is it music remaking). There was a tweet of him at Toys for Bob's studio. He's also composed a new theme for Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which is so cool. And if that's not enough, the game will allow you to switch between original and remastered music. :')
It makes me wonder though, why he wasn't just doing all the music.
Sadly, no such option for the new Ratchet and Clank.
I really would prefer David Bergeaud's work to whatever bombastic generic orchestral porridge is featured in the final game.

Resident Evil 2 is by far one of the best remakes I have seen. The amazing graphics and updated controls but with enough of its source material to feel like the original without screwing it up.
