The fact the Cry of Fear devs made a better half life mod on such a limited budget and such a small team, shows how little Hunt Down the Freeman devs actually cared about their game and just wanted to make some bucks.
And the story and direction of the game is even better. I really want a sequel 😭

Honestly, playing the game is worth it for like... five bucks or so. It's pretty good to play on like screen share with friends.
It's a trainwreck of such monumental proportions that despite seeing like two hours straight of videos bashing it and showing the game's problems, I was still blown away by how bad it was.

When I was supposed to be an animator on the game, director man himself kept sending me MGSV trailers and saying "this is what we need to do for the cutscenes". But then he'd come back the next day and say "I just watched The Dictator, I want to do the cutscenes like this instead". And that happened about 3 or 4 times for different games/movies.
Kept changing his mind, but the metal gear essence was a constant apparently. Was fun to see you mention it.
