I bought a 90s vintage COACH briefcase off ebay for almost nothing after watching one of your tear downs. Beautiful shoulder bag, and it's already broken in for me. You really made me appreciate the workmanship that goes into them
I carry a Saddleback Indiana Satchel everyday, on a bicycle, in Houston. I could've told you it wasn't going to be easy to deconstruct. Rain, heat, sweat, and the occasional snow, it just keeps looking better and better.
I have so many Saddleback products. They deliver......and serve their customers well. I do wish that they would offer a Veg tanned versions of their products....cuz I would re-buy everything. Chrome tanned is nice for many reasons.....but not for many others. No vid of free of cost. Cheers and Thanks.
I have the XL size of this bag that Saddleback produced years ago and love it. It was both satisfying to watch you deconstruct the bag, knowing it takes quite a bit of energy to pull apart. I have forgotten a belt before but had my bag with me and used one of the straps for the day and it worked just fine.
Please please please do the Dooney and Bourke Florentine satchel. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I know I am not the only one who would love to see you deconstruct that bag and give your opinion.
This particular bag weighs 7lbs. It's a heavy duty bag for a heavy duty person. Great for carrying heavy items that would rip through normal bags, but it's an overkill for laptops and papers.
I love my saddleback bags. I have the small edc pouch, 14 inch medium sized bag and the classic duffle. I love them all so much and I love getting comments when I travel with them. they get cooler the more roughly you use them
I winced to see a nice new bag being torn apart like that, but it was informative to see how my bag is constructed and how hard it was to deconstruct. As well as seeing the square footage of leather and the approximate materials cost. Neat video.
I love saddleback stuff. An even better brand (but unfortunately no longer exists) is Kendal and Hyde. They were similar style, more refined and very thick veg tan leather.
I have been looking at leatherology, s-zone bags, and this one is new to me, I really like crazy horse learher bags, i don't think i can carry a 7 lbs bag 😮
“They’ll fight over it when ur dead” makes me acquired their wallet pre-Covid.. Yrs down, it had patina nicely.. However understanding more abt chrome tanning and pull-up leather in additional to the price hike over the yrs had made it less value for money.. my 2 cents.. still a gd B2C online company and thanks for the review.
I love Saddleback Leather's stuff ... I have several pieces. I also really appreciated this video. I learned a lot. HOWEVER, it was a little disconcerting to see you destroy that bag! ... despite how hard you said it was to do so! 🤣
It’s not that they made it hard to cut apart. Leather goods in Mexico have always been strong. I can’t explain it because I don’t have the knowledge you have. I just know that leather items from Mexico are just well made.
Same thought here. I winced all the way through it, but it underscored what I knew already. I have no doubt that my grandson will pass my bag on to his grandson one day.
The world could end and that bag would stay I one piece if it wasn't you taking it appart 😂😂😂 Beautiful bag, totally my style just too big and too heavy for me to carry it around 😬
You keep saying "crazy horse" leather, but there's no indication on their website this is horse leather. (There's actually no indication it's cow either, except that there's a picture of a cow.) Why do you think it's horse leather?

How to contact you I am planning to open brand
Coach is absolutely one of the best brands for leather goods. Everything I've bought I'm still using.

I bought their laptop and the exact bag in June. I’m obsessed. I discover them 10 years ago, super worth it.
That bag is only $690? Wow thats incredible, compared to mini chique purses that seel for 10x that and use inauthentic materials. Good breakdown!

Well made totes, journal covers and briefcases. True craftsmanship at its best👜

The irony is I got my first saddleback leather piece when I was a vegetarian, the quality is insane! I have 4 of their products.
I own 4 different Saddleback bags and I love all of them. I'll likely get another one in the next couple years.

Now that you have done your first ever rugged bag review, I am looking forward for a morlando bag review too. Great stuff.
Looking fwd to ur doctor’s bag review also from Saddleback.
Watching you take that apart what the heck machine stitched that, wow
I would like to have a mini version of this bag !!😍
it is called the “slim leather briefcase” 😁
They used to have 4 sizes, small, medium, large, and extra large. Small disappeared a long time ago, but you can sometimes find them used.
Seems like a good gift for my dad. That man destroys everything...😅

Saddleback makes amazing bags. Super durable. Look better as they get roughed up and age.
Do you have a review on Mulberry?
Congrats on the UA-cam award!
I have one and being my edc for almost 2 Years
Now i want u to do marlondo briefcase
Been eyeing for a moment
What do you carry around in that thing, anvils?
Amazing review my friend!!!
you mean Leon as in the city in Spain??
@@tanner.leatherstein yeah when the settle in those lands they didn't have much imagination for new city names 😂
Leon, Mexico. A leather hub for N. America.
I love it so much I’m keeping it to myself 😂😂😂 until they make me an ambassador.
Why didn't you do the burn test?
Can you do their rival brand marlondo? It's cheaper and does similar designs
could you review the brand nat & nin?

How do we identify pig skin lining?
I had the same bag in 1976, to go to school.
I love Saddleback. I thought this would be interesting, but it was painful to watch him destroy this beautiful bag.
Same thought here. I winced all the way through it, but it underscored what I knew already. I have no doubt that my grandson will pass my bag on to his grandson one day.
I bought one of these and I had to switch to a different bag its just too ridiculously heavy to be practical in anyway
Please do sathcel and page backpack
The world could end and that bag would stay I one piece if it wasn't you taking it appart 😂😂😂 Beautiful bag, totally my style just too big and too heavy for me to carry it around 😬
Their warranty says 100 years and slogan is ‘they will fight for it when you’re dead’. Meme king it’s a generational bag
Can you please review some Indian brands. Would be really grateful
Amazing review! I feel a little dirty having watched that.
Can you please do a TUMI bag? ❤❤❤❤❤
You keep saying "crazy horse" leather, but there's no indication on their website this is horse leather. (There's actually no indication it's cow either, except that there's a picture of a cow.) Why do you think it's horse leather?
“Crazy horse” is a style of leather, originally intended to be made into saddles for horses.
@@bradk1295 Thank you!
Ahh … substance. 😎
How are.u How can I get
Wow what a waste.... I could've used that bag myself...
by deconstructing that bag, he's providing a service to the viewers that is much MUCH more valuable than the use of the bag itself
@@Jane_Doe_8909 it’s a joke kiddo, I want that damn bag!!
Rugged is OK, this bag is overkill
Anda que romper una bolsa como esa... Ya te vale...
