    Doing trauma and grief work. Best friend suicided a year ago. My brother is dying from alcoholism. This session allowed me to cry. Grateful. Like your gentle voice giving directions. Will watch more of your videos.

      i’m praying for you love 💗💗 that is heavy stuff and i hope you remember that there is purpose to your pain. I guarantee you this seems like God and Goddess are punching you for no reason but the fact that you took the opportunity to nurture your emotions rather than bottling those negative feelings deserve a hug and a kiss. sending you love through the screen and i pray it gets back to you well, amen. 🤍

      Also grieving a loved one’s suicide and have been unable to cry-today marks my beginning of practicing yoga and this was the video I chose. I was able to tear up and left feeling extremely calm. Thank you

    My daughter transcended 7 months ago and it's been tough for me and this I can honestly say helped me today to RELEASE to CRY and let go of some of my emotions that needs to be released... GRATITUDE for this video💜

    i cried so much in certain poses i felt like stopping and just bawling there. but i continued and felt there's still so much more to let out. Thank you. I needed this.
    Have been at a difficult time in life, where nothing is right but nothing is too wrong either but just wrong enough for so long that it hurts.

    I've never cried doing yoga, always heard that it happens sometimes, but today I did. It was a much needed release and I thank you so much. I feel like a weight was lifted off my back. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Regardless of how stoic I act, I seriously needed this. During the first portion of the session, I released a scream long held back. I am always looking to continue my spiritual journey, but that came from somewhere deep. Thank you

    This was such a great session. I noticed that in certain poses my body would spasm which leads me to feel that there is some physical trauma somewhere in my body that I need to alleviate. I am adding yoga into my self care for growth of spirit and body and each limitation I meet is just a reminder that this body still needs grace and patience as it adjust to the changes I am adding. Super excited to do more with you!

    That was amazing. Didn’t release emotions but released stress and tension. The fact that I could experience those while having my 4 y/o keep talking the entire time I’m following along is amazing. I will have to do this again when my kids are asleep.

    This class was so good for me. I reunited with an ex of 38 years and spent a year with him. Covid kept me there as I couldn't get back. In some ways we did a lot of healing. I did my yoga every day. Tying up loose ends and appreciating the little things that had originally brought us together came up often. He has been sober 18 years. And I suppose I needed to let him know how much that means to me. I am back in my best home in Cape Breton Island. A huge weight lifted from my heart. Your classes are a way of safely being with feelings and emotional release happens quite naturally. My muscles relaxed more deeply than ever before in that supine twist.     This is my first time doing yoga ever. I saw the title and was drawn in because I've been on a path of being more feminine and within that is healing my childhood trauma. I have depression, anxiety, and PTSD, when I first started the session my mind was already racing with thoughts as it usually does. I felt more relaxed, and towards the middle I felt an overwhelming rush of emotion and I wanted to cry. I held back those tears, I felt like it was wrong (trauma response I'm working on). I'm hoping to do this session with the result being It allows me to emotionally release without feeling like I can't or shouldn't. Thank you so much! 🖤

    Here I was, almost done the practice, about to lay in shavasana thinking “that wasn’t as intense as I had thought or even hoped”….then the very second I entered the final pose and placed my hands on my heart and stomach, it was as if the flood gates opened. I knew exactly what I was releasing and allowed myself to cry it out. Thank you! 🙏🏽

    My emotions are so locked up that my therapist told me that my PTSD is that of someone who went to war. I shed a tear or two, I think I'm going to need to do this a lot to get it all out. I'm excited, though. I do feel lighter. Thank you!

    Didn’t realize how much pain I’ve still been carrying around a sexual assault I experienced in 2017. I felt the weight of all the choices I made thru trying to reclaim my power and how my body had become a tool for destruction. I’ve done a lot better in the last couple years but I’m glad I was able to connect with those emotions today so I can tend to them more. Thank you 🙏🏽

    I’m Coming back To comment again.. did this yesterday morning before work: keep in mind, I have been off, depressed, not cooking cleaning NOTHING I been down bad! But I made the steps to put one foot In front of the other and start healing and feeling better. Yesterday I felt pretty good after this session. Today I feel great! I do think this played a part.     This was one of the most beautiful yoga sessions I’ve completed I cried and feel so much peace I have clarity and I was able to get into a meditated state. I saw green colors my heart chakra was being opened

    I’ve been dealing with a lot of pinned up emotions, childhood trauma and stuck in survival mode. This is the first somatic yoga experience where I actually started crying at the end and am as I type this comment. ❤ I will be doing this every morning!     I honestly thought that everyone was just saying the same thing because it sounds good. I was wrong. Just finished this exercise and is of the last poses got me. Idk where the tears came from but they were flowing lol. I’ve never done yoga but this was nice. I feel amazing. Will be sharing this with my dad. He can really benefit from this. Thank you♥️

    I had a car accident last year and I remember how my legs felt back then. During the emotion release of this session, I felt an immense emotion coming from my legs and I remembered the accident. I had tears and released the emotion. I thought I was over the accident but I guess I didn’t process my emotions and just moved on with what happened.     Getting ready to start chemo next week for breast cancer so needless to say, I'm scared. I'm 35, a wife, mom to an 18 month old, I was a mental health therapist for 11 years and most recently, a yoga instructor for less than a year with a 5 year steady practice. I've struggled deeply with coming back to my mat since my diagnosis about 4 weeks ago. Tried this session with you and I'm crying even still as I type this.     I don't know if this is normal reaction but I cried at the end. Loss a lot of people I love in a short time span. Not to mention I'm griefing missed opportunities, have regrets and so on. I think I'm going to start doing this more often. Thank you for the content.

    I’m going through the most painful depressed time of my life grieving my Mom she was my best friend.

    Im so thankful for this video. I usually do it when I do shadow work or if I feel emotional. I feel so much better after I do it, its like my emotions are reset and I feel safer to feel through them. As black women we have to be able to have practices that help us throughout this world.     Today I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and try another Yogi here on UA-cam and through this process i discovered you. This practice was exactly what I needed today - I struggle with bottled up emotions and hearing you say "You are safe" over and over again made me feel really comfortable and calm.     Didn't expect to burst into tears at 3 in the morning while doing this. But I'm glad did. I released some things that I'd been holding onto concerning my relocation and trying to adjust for the past year. This was much needed. 🧘🏾‍♀️🙏🏾

    Amazing just what I needed. I am dealing with the death of my Grand(dad) and its so hard. This was super helpful. Also dealing with past trauma regarding my mom. I needed this release. Thank yo so much. Nico.

    I tried it today and feel so refreshed... I got dozens of responsibilities and stress that caused me severe neck and shoulder pain, all those are now so light and it feels good now.

    it was nice to hear that i had a safe place to share my emotions that i've held onto so tightly. i remember thinking about something that happened in elementary school and got a little emotional... i still need to work on trusting myself in what i say but thank you for the starter space.

    1st time I did this session I had an emotional release. It really caught me by surprise. I wasn’t expecting it strangely. I have had a weak right hip flexor for over 20 yrs causing an mis aligned foot and associated problems. After approx 5 sessions, my foot is walking completely straight. I couldn’t believe this benefit and it is a result of this yoga. This means I can now begin to go on long walks again. Thank you.

    From someone who lost touch with their body for as long as they can remember, this has helped on my first few steps at the start of a healing journey.
    I struggle to feel and then identify emotions, but the neck work at the start brought some heat up through the body and into the head.
    It’s startling at first, as I’m not used to it, but just having that connection with the body return is amazing, even if it’s short lived for now.

    Wow... First time trying some yoga practice.. towards the end of your guided video, I started to cry for no apparent reason and then I started to laugh.. never thought yoga could "work" on me like this.
