Traveled a lot in the Corps. Visited Sicily. Car Bomb went off right after we hit port so we had to stay on the Main Drag from the port. History is much older there, and everything moves much slower. Went to a small restaurant for dinner and it was a classic with the booths and low light. While waiting for dinner my mixed group of Marines and Sailors were enjoying our conversation and I noticed a number of puckers in the stone wall behind the booth. They had been painted over. I had just stuck a finger in one of the wandering puckers in a long line across the back of the booth when the waiter walked up with our drinks. He laughed and mimed a machine gun. BRRRRRRRR... then falling face first on the table. Pushed the side of his nose with a forefinger and walked away still laughing.
The thing I noticed about travel overseas... yes they speak a huge mix of languages in the various EU countries when you are over there, but an amazing number of them speak English, especially the younger generations, since it's the international business language.
I am Italian here in Italy, I just wanted top point out that you can legally own ar15, m16, M4 guns and other military style rifles in semiautomatic version

Great to see the 3 Amigos back on the Gun Cranks, Interesting show, we really don't know what other countries think about the USA unless you go there and talk with people on the street.
It's always been enlightening to me to talk to locals, from Africa to Europe to Australia and a few other spots. We're all just people .... but governments get in the way. Roy
Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but as I understand it the prohibition on civilians in Italy owning military-type arms extends to the cartridges. So any gun in 9mm Luger is prohibited. This has come up in Forgotten Weapons videos a few times.

Rhino Chiappa should be the best gun to shoot when eating. Low recoil so you can shoot weak hand keeping a fork in the strong one, and no brass falling in your spaghetti. (By the way my wife asked for a 45 instead of an engagement ring, so for our honeymoon we went to breathe some smell of freedom in your shooting ranges, you lovely people!)

During my time in the Navy and being a Gunners Mate I was offered machine guns and bazookas while in Naples,,,,And yes I did own a Vespa,,,,eat your heart out Roy

You actually can own AR15’s and any other modern sporting rifle! AK’s, FAL’s, SIG’s and AR15’s are all very common
