Totally deserve more thumbs up for this! Never seen a tarantula practically dive into a water dish before. Very satisfying to see.
So gorgeous and super chilled for a rehousing. My sazimai is about 2” and just turned blue! She is my fave T at the minute! Absolutely gorgeous and such a character! They have quick feeding responses when hungry, I lowered a meal worm today about 2” away and she jumped up and was hanging off the worm! So watch the fingers when feeding even at that size! x

Right! The shop I got him from back then kept the enclosure super dry even tho these live in humid areas
@@lostInExotics I just got one a few days ago in a mystery box ( lucky me ) it's the same size as this , and It seems to be able to cope with both wet and dry climates , supposed to be really hardy , according to the research I've done , so thsts good. It's a beautiful T. Fingers crossed it does OK with our colder climate in Scotland 💙👍
@@sandramullen7804 that’s awesome! They are great Ts! And yup they are able to adapt well because they originate from a place with heavy rainfall and sometimes drought. Very hardy Ts.
I want to collect tarantulas too, especially blue ones.

Yea could have died... good thinking. I always put water dishes in mine or if I don't have one I just keep it wet.
Mhmm as soon as they get to 1" they will get their own water dish :D Have you tried using sphagnum moss for your water? It holds moisture quite well.
