I prefer your real voice to the robo-voice
yeah me to 💪🏻
Agree
Yes totally agree
True
Indeed, this is not really as engaging being talked to by a robot, you cannot hear love and appreciation for these incredible animals from a robot. Why was a robot used?
Already printing new labels ;)
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS INFORMATION
I had one looking exactly like this
It’s so awesome to have you do a vid
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ijust received one of these beauties in a mystery box from my tarantula dealer . Gorgeous 5/6cm baby 💙
amazing species of tarantula!
There's still so much about the natural world that we don't know about. It's no surprise that we keep discovering new things.
Thank you Martin for another great Post... although no changing of any labels or pronunciations in my collection, down here in the land down under..🤠
Captive breds for the win!
I have two captive bred females that I have bred my girl Onyx several times, and she had over 700-900 babies each time. I understand the name change it just frustrating because people won't alway realize they are still the same beautiful blue tarantula. Thanks for explaining the reason for the name change. Ibnsarachnids aka rob
Hey guys this channel is extremely useful because im thinking about buying a tarantula (im a beginner and i found this channel by my cousin who has 14 tarantulas) and im in a budget of $350 and i like how you had suggestions but just wondering is there a best recommendation for my budget ($350) that i should get?
New world tarantula, juvenile. Lasiodoras are good starters, they are quite hardy. Start with an enclosure made from a plastic tub. Start small, if you will like it the expensive tarantuas and equipment will come :)
Damn bro you do a good American accent.
I mean do they want us keepers and breeders want us too go nuts changing name’s constantly? Jeesh
It's not about keepers or breeders. It's about the modern genetic analysis of spiders that were classified into groups, by looks alone, prior to such advances in science. Genetics have shown that L. sazimai is not closely related to the other species of that genus at all. In fact, it's more closely related to another genus but still different enough to be considered to represent its own genus.
Mir Egal wie die heisst- meine Heisst Helen aber die meiste Zeit ist die eher Braun - ausser Frisch gehäutet.😊
Awe no not the sazi
no worries, you can still call them "sazi" ;-)
@birdspiders lol that's not the part I'm concerned of lol its the first name pronunciation lol I can barely say most any how
So about the name of ex-P. sazimai its natural to read it as "sazzy-my" but I dont think thats right. It was first described by some Japanese tarantulaologists and named after a Japanese person called Sazima, presumably pronounced "sa-zee-ma." So, like how Brachypelma smithi , described by Smith, is pronounced "smith-ee," I think sazimai should be pronounced "sazima-ee."
not sure where you got it from that he was japanese - he was a brazilian researcher with born in Prague in 1942.
You can pronounce as you like :)
@@birdspiders oh ok, I thought he was japanese bcus the two ppl who desribed the spider were japanese and it seemed like a Japanese name. but still his name was Sazima, the spider is also called Sazima's tarantula, so the point stands that it should be sazima-ee rather than sazzy-my
@superloops9982 the other people arent japanese either, they are all brasilian researchers born in Brasil but fair enough, their name a has their origin in Japan
@@SuperLoops Brazil has a huge Japanese population, which is why there are some Brazilian tarantulas described by ethnic Japanese, even though they are Brazilian nationals.
yeah the whole japanese thing really isn't relevant lol. what matters is that the person the spider is named after is Sazima, so preserving the pronunciation of that name, as per taxonomic convention, we get "sazima-ee" as the right name for the spider.
