- Pterinopelma sazimai, Brazilian blue rehouse and care
These are a new breeding project for the Beastie room as these are not really seen to be bred very often and I believe they are quit threatened in the wild so the more we can breed ourselves the better for our spiders .

Yes mate, obv I’m subscribed to your channel, saw you ove on Petco’s channel on Monday regarding the Green Tree Monitor situation. Nice to see you over here on Dave’s channel as well! Take care buddy.

Wow another gorgeous T Dave and another upmarket crib, your Ts are a credit to you and Camera Lady well cared for and another great vid ...
You are the Bob Ross of spiders
I've bought Sazimai almost a year ago. I really love your idea of adding some natural plants into terrarium, i'll do the same for my spider to make her happier ^^ Thank you for such an informative and satisfying video!
I like this channel. No dramatics or showmanship like the Yanks. Just good sound peaceful advice for us spider keepers. Thank you.
❤️❤️❤️
Very pretty spiders! Best of luck on making baby spiders.
Hello great video rehousing Dave
Males are "ready for grief".....Aren't we all brother, Aren't we all!
Totally random…but that was a beautiful piece of wood in the enclosure! Really unique and appealing
I think so too!
Funny to see the spider sitting there the whole time near the drinking bowl wondering what Dave is doing.
What a beautiful spider 🕷 Dave, thank to miss camera lady for the great video great team work 👌👍 👏👏👏
Yes Beautiful babies
.As always wonderful care..
magical colourful spider PROFF, i have a 2" young spider and hopefully the colour will match your beauty. as usual the information will be greatly received . thanks camera lady for your hard work. take care guys thanks.
I really love these guys! I got a female years ago as a sling for $30 dollars and she is such a character! Great video!
I appreciate the great info, Dave. These are on the cheaper side for Blue T's.
Fantastic spider and great video again. Thanks Dave.
So nice of you
It would be neat with a feeding clip at the end of these rehouse and care videos.
Beautiful spider with a beautiful enclosure 💜💜💜 Thank you for the video.
You done it again
Id love to be one of your spiders just so I can live in one of your enclosures 😍😃
They are beautiful and they sure look big. Thank you and have a nice day.
I like the way you tucked the plant into the wood bark it looked cool.
Very nice new spider terrarium.
Great advice, excellent enclosure, and a beautiful spider. Thanks Dave 😄
Damm, that is one beautiful Spider , Dave !!
gorgeous t and nice terrarium, inspiring for my tiny female :) thanks for the awesome video
Thank you. You show great respect to these creatures in their care. There is beauty in all things, even the hairy, scary spider.
Wow! The leg segment colors on the male are just amazing!
Had to repair the bed of the kids, so I came (much to) late today 😥 But now I am feeling much better.😀 The bed is done, the coffee is hot and Dave and his camera lady are calm and gentle as always! Oh, and the spider is beautiful, of course 😁🥰
Another Amazing setup!!
What a gorgeous spider. So pretty
Thank You Dave, Thank You Camera Lady...Always FUN and a new adventure in the "Beasty Room"...
I was thinking... A successful fisherman has to think like a fish. I must say Dave that you must think just like a spider? You certainty have a very happy spider mindset. Your "Beasty Room" reflects that happy spider wonderland. I would think that a new spider to your room would appreciate your positive approach. Over time will react in a more calmer way because of your correct housing and feeding. Perhaps becoming less aggressive after your gentle approach? Dogs are dogs, cats are cats and spiders are spiders BUT all react positively to consistent careful considerate handling?
I am slooooowly taking on a much more considerate approach when I see a spider on my wall.... Work in process..TM
Beautiful spiders and enclosure! Can't wait for the breeding video :)
#Thirsttrap Dave you are and forever will be a snack to watch!
Nice job! Great color on the Sazimai's! I may add one soon to my collection
You are such a wealth of knowledge. I just got my first T a few days ago. All of your videos have prepared me very well for my new addition. Thank you so much.
I hope you get on well ❤️❤️❤️❤️
very fine spiders and I learned something new today from you. that you should not dunk on them all the time it was a great good tip thanks
So nice of you
That was one sweet upgrade! I thought it was going to be a pairing video, when you brought the male out! Something to look forward to. Thanks for the video!
Lovely colour to that spider nice to see some new worlds and there setups
Cant wait for the pairing! Beautiful spiders!
You know what they say…
Happy Spider
Happy Life
🤘🏻 the room looks good
Thank you so much 👍
My P. sazimai is about 2" right now, it's a little firecracker!
I swear, every single spider is so lovely in it's own way. Top quality stuff.
❤️❤️❤️
Just received one of these in a mystery box from Portsmouth Tarantulas last week he /she is only 5cm and is so docile so far . Such a beautiful T. 💙
Dave, no gummy/horn worms 🐛 disappointing 🤣🤣, in my madness, nice enclosure as always Dave 😉
Aww so beautiful. I have two of these as slings, from different shops. I just like my tarantulas to grow with, so I can understand them as they grow. They are beautiful tarantulas. At least seeing your adult male and female, I know how stunning they will grow up, to be. Great video Dave, and something's I can learn from that. 😊
Your channel is blowing up! Much deserved! 👏👏👏
Thank you ❤️👍
Thanks Dave, I've never seen an adult female and male before. My two juveniles aren't nearly as blue. Lovely lighting and photography clarity. Really loved the information you provided. All new to me and fascinating. Hope to meet you one day. love your videos sir! Justin - Bedfordshire
I will be at the Kettering show on the Sunday 12-9-21
This is a very beautyfull spider and i am impressed by how fast you where able to setup an enclosure that is so nice and natural looking. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Beautiful spiders, great video Dave. Great advice about the contact with the brush, awesome looking new setup. So cool how she had already started webbing in the time she was in the catch cup
The environments you set up make me so happy, they’re just so nice to look at and you know the furry critters will absolutely love it🤩 making me want to get creative!
Thanks , go for it ❤️👍
What lovely spider great video
I love watching you make the enclosures & the colors of the spiders are amazing. I have a new found respect for them; even though I'm a severe arachnophobe. I've watched other channels, however; I find yours to be more relaxed and informative. Thank you & your wife for such wonderful videos! I'm a huge fan now!
Thats great to hear ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Awesome specimens as usual Dave!!!!
These are such stunning tarantulas!! I have two grown on slings 💙
I got one of these at the show lol my feed the blue mystery box👌 wicked vid Dave as always👍👍
I have a sling of this guy. I can't wait for it to grow.
She's a stunner that one, for sure! ♥️
I came to like this species and coincidentally, you just posted video about it lol. The universe is giving me sign. Great vid Mr. Dave!! 😁👍
She's beautiful!!!!!
another great video wow loved it keep up the great work
Great video, I plan to rehouse my P. Sazamai soon so I can see if he'll finally burrow lol
This female doesn't burrow and spends a lot of time sat outside the entrance to her man made burrow 👍
I wish your camera lady would move closer when you are preparing the enclosure not just after you've done it. But I love her camera work. She gets all the good shots of the Tarantula.
“Got to be an extortionist to get behind there” 😂😂😂😂 me shaving in the shower 😭😭😭
My little sling is a belter always out and about eats really well it is starting to put on a bit of size can't wait till the colours come out amazing little things and another helpful video cheers dave 👌
Dave you got 2 beautiful ts there well done camera lady for taking shots
Great video on the sazimai they are beautiful spiders, mine molted yesterday after a long premolt and they look stunning after a molt.
Just found this channel probably one of the best ones. Subscribed👌
Thank you so much and welcome my friend ❤️👍
I received one as a gift 2 month ago from a friend who had a successful eggsack. Even my H. maculata`s were super-growers compared to this little one. I like the little bolts and good feeding response though.
Amazing video as usual Dave!
Very nice blue colouring! Absolutely full of good information too! And I don’t say this nearly enough but amazing job as usual Camera Lady! At this point, Camera Lady might be more legendary than Dave himself 😂👍❤️!
Just a side note Dave: I’m back at school today. We’re on break right now so I’m taking that opportunity to write this 👍.
See Dave, I’ve always loved school ( which unfortunately has lead to bullying in the past of which I still have a scar that starts under my left eye and goes all the way up my nose. I got that when I was 7 ). But I’m very happy to be back in PERSON and I haven’t been bullied in 2 years which is awesome.
I’m ready to tackle grade 11.
I hope you and Camera Lady and all the Beasties are well!
Stand tall my friend be firm but polite its held me in good stead all these years 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties Very wise words from a very wise man!
First day went extremely well Dave!
You made her a Hobbit hole! Love it!
She is absolutely beautiful!! Love the color and how easy she was for you to handle. Another home run on a new stunning enclosure for her!
Another great video Dave!! Your video's have really helped me tackle my arachnophobia, so much so, the weekend just gone I handled a tarantula for the 1st time (adult male Chilean Rose) - I know its not the most 'exciting' of spiders to handle, and I'm not an advocating handling of spiders, but I have really come to realise we have nothing to fear over these creatures as long as we respect them - Keep the video's coming boss!!
Lovely video Dave, brilliant set up and a beautiful species and a terrific job as usual by yourself and camera 📷 lady, always 😀 very enjoyable.
Thank you George ❤️👍
You'll love this species. Feeding response is on point. Can be fiesty a bit but overall a great looking beauty. I have a juvenile suspect female myself
Love the enclosure. What a lovely piece of wood you used. I'm slowly getting a different attitude towards spiders. You have the best videos. Thank you for sharing your world.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I really need to get another one of these 🤍 Beautiful Ts
great video Dave,i picked up a brazillian blue sling a couple of months ago,im looking forward to it maturing.have a good day mate
Wow ! The blue on the female really pops out in the right lighting. Would be great if you get a good sac out of her. Best of luck when the time comes.
Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
Should be a nice little project 👍
Great job Dave! No fuss.
Just how we like it 😂👍
Good luck with that future pairing. I have one, and am very fond of it. It is nearly always out, and seems to like checking out what I do when I water or clean the enclosure. I set it up semi arboreally, and it does climb its branches from time to time. Thanks for the video.
I have this species it’s a sling though but it’s doing so well it scavenge feeds but it’ll eat only if the worm is cut in small bits which is a learning experience to give it the right size but ever since it molted its being a active, shy sling which I didn’t expect it doesn’t bother me when I do maintenance it just flees and it’s already dug a burrow which is awesome. Thank you for doing this video cause I’ve been wanting to know more about the care for this species in particular and thank you for the awesome camera angles Miss Camera Lady!!!!
beautiful ♥
been waiting on a P. sazimai vid!! my very first T and favorite species lol
Hey Dave, love ure work ! i like the natural enclosures, what im missing is a proper background :) greetings
hey dave, thanks for all that you do for the hobby. i've learned a hell of a lot from you on husbandry and my spiders are in tip top condition thanks to your tutorials.
Thank you I appreciate that so glad your getting the most out of this wonderful hobby ❤
Nice rehouse and peek at Mr Blue. Looking forward to seeing the update on them.
BTW can you name spider that's not pretty/stunning?
Sure thing! I love em all ❤️👍😂
It's always amazing to me how easily you handle your spiders. As a new tarantula owner, you are a huge inspiration in my tarantula keeping. Thank you so much for your inspiring videos.
Thank you 🙏
Totally agree with you 👍
Oh wow Dave they are both gorgeous🕷🕸🕷🕸
Excellent content as always Dave! I have been on the fence with getting some of these as no one in my area has any adults to see what I am going to end up with. These guys are a lot more beautiful than I thought and this may have just made up my mind. Think I may have to add a few to the stable. Thanks for all of your work and Camera-lady is doing an excellent job with the video presentation/quality too!
Thank you matey ❤️👍
Here’s a funny thing Dave, I can watch videos with spiders, such as the ones in this video, but for some reason I cannot bring myself to watch much of videos with a Huntsman spider in them. I was flicking through some images to videos of various spiders in them, when suddenly an image of an Australian Huntsman popped up, and I actually dropped my iPad! The thing is I am from Australia and have encountered these all my life, but still there is something about the sight of one that makes my skin crawl. Have you ever encountered, or heard, of just one particular spider species having this effect on someone, and others spiders not?
Yes sometimes people get hooked on one thing and that becomes the nemesis 😂👍
That was fun getting all of them in there new tank
The extra attention to detail and your patience and love for this is why im a subscriber. Your fun dave and we love you man, keep it up! Inspiration for the collection I'm building.
I appreciate that!❤️❤️❤️
mine is leveling up right now xD
Dave, you always make it look so easy!!!
Thank you 😊 🙏
What beautiful spiders 🕷 😍 thank you Mr and Mrs Dave ❤️
So nice of you
Very Nice Dave .... But i have one question ,
Why is it necessary to drop the temperature ?
Would they not get used to the atmosphere that they are in or does that put them into what be a " Breeding kickstart "
I am a little bit confused on why you must drop the temperature.
Do they kind of go into some sort of hybernative state that would prevent them from breeding .
Please explain in the shortest terms i would understand.
Normally i would not ask a question like that but since i started watching your channel i have becpme more enthused with spiders than i ever thought i would.
I have learned so much from you about them that i find it really interesting.
WEll thanx Dave in advance and lets not forget about the camera lady as well ..
Thank You Mrs.Camera lady !!
I wondered that too…
Hi George, im glad you asked the question my friend some spiders require a cooling off time almost like a hibernation but its only a few degrees so they are still active and then as we slowly bring the temps up and ad more food this helps bring them into condition for breeding once paired we offer more food and sometimes spray more and raise the humidity which can sometimes convince them to prepare the egg sack, this is a very simple explanation and just covers the bare basics 👍
