I love legends Star Wars, but generally I only cover it from December to February, so I have time for other stuff the rest of the year. But between those months it's pretty much all Star Wars :)

I always enjoy your videos! I didn't know there was such an exciting story behind Darth Andeddu! I remeber that, except for the essence transfer, Bane learned nothing new from his holocron, and thought Andeddu, like many ancient sith lords, was short-sighted, self-centered, and cruel. I thought Andeddu was killed by conspiring apprentices instead of voluntary ending his physical life. Very interesting.
Andeddu was a Ravenclaw Slytherin combo. As a proud Ravenclaw myself, I want the secret of eternal youth so I can relish all the knowledge of the universe like fine dining. I have lust for knowledge and someday I will have the secret.
I have a theory that Darth Andeddu was not a title but his actual name and that Revan and Malak were the first to use Darth as a title.
An interesting theory perhaps it’s true
The Darth title was already used in Vitiate's Sith Empire during Revan and Malak's time like Darth Nyriss

Cool video. I have a question. What happened to Darth Andeddu`s spirit after he died a second time.
How did Freedon Nadd even find Andeddu's holocron? And why didn't he keep it?
There is very little info about this, only that it happened while Nadd was searching for sith artifacts across the galaxy. My personal theory is that he found Prakith and was deemed worthy by the cultists and Andeddu, so was allowed to study the holocron but could not take it. And since Nadd learned what he wanted and maybe respected Andeddu he agreed, left the holocron and kept his knowledge of Prakith secret for the rest of his life. Sith aren't usually so respectful but since we know the holocron wasn't taken its the only thing that makes sense to me.
@@CivilizationEx That doesn't seem likely since the cultists decided to attack Bane despite him being strong in the Force. A more likely theory is that upon arrival on Prakith, Nadd used Sith Sorcery to mask his presence from the cultists, enabling him to sneak into the crypt and take the holocron unnoticed.
@@PhantomRedKnight But he didn't take it. That's the thing. He only studied it, and left it where it was. Which is why Bane finds it there later. Anything is possible since we don't know, but maybe they deemed Nadd worthy but not Bane. Just being strong in the force may not have been enough.

You can read about that in the Roleplay Game Guide "Ultimate Adversaries", but there is no info on his final fate, just that he survived beyond the clone wars. :)

Another question I have is at what time did Darth Andeddu live, and was he really the first Darth?
He lived during the Old Sith Empire between 6900 and 5100 BBY, and he was the first known Darth.

Probably before both of them, he lived closer to the beginning of the Empire since he was a student of the Original Sith Lords.
Where was this story of Andeddu?
Andeddus story is spread throughout many works but much of this info can be found in the 3rd Darth Bane book and the Legacy comics issues 5 and 27.
