OMG I was at a point like that after a neurotoxicity complication from my life saving cancer treatment (Car T Cell) for my out of remission Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. I am in remission 5 years later. But I had to relearn to swallow, stand up, and to walk. I used to say " my brain had to relearn " everything and I did it. I thought I was going to die but God had other plans. My husband pushed me when I wanted him to just leave me lol. Poor guy, I used to get mad at him. I survived. I love him to pieces but I didn't at the time lol.
Shout out to all the caregivers who told my husband what to do. Shout out to speech therapists who don't always get credit. I'm proud of you "old lady" you ROCK. I'm 70 years old now and living a normal life. I almost gave up. But I had too many supporting family and medical people and prayers. I'm forever grateful❤

@@catcapaldi4647 Hi Cat, what an absolute inspiring story you shared, thank you so much! Praise God that you are in remission and have been for five years. I can’t imagine everything you went through and all that you had to relearn. My brother-in-law had a brain injury about 25 years ago and he ended up in the hospital for six weeks and in a rehab hospital for nine months. He had to relearn everything as well. He didn’t know anybody’s name, he didn’t know what a fort was or a spoon or anything. He had to learn how to walk and talk and all the things. Your husband is a true gem, he did the right thing and pushing you because he knew you could do it. I could understand why he made you mad at the time, but I know you look back now and loved him all the more. It sounds like he was an excellent caregiver to you, loving you through the whole way and you think tough love to save you. thank the good Lord above that you did not give up, that you fought for your life, which would’ve taken an enormous amount of courage on your part. I am in all of you! Love, Sheila.

There but by the grace of God 🤗 So glad to hear of Kens wonderful turn around and progress. He looked so good in the pictures you shared. Isn't it wonderful how healing Gods gift of nature is so healing for us. What a blessing to have you guys buy his side and the well meaning thoughts and prayers and all the medical/health care professionals along the way. So much to be thankful for. Thanks for what you shared at the end with your inside beauty tip. When my mom passed I really struggled with questions like, did I pray the right prayers, did I call the right people to say prayers, did I ask enough questions and the right questions at the hospital, on and on my mind went and deeper and deeper into sorrow. The first thing I found at my mom's while going thru her things was a little embroidery inside of a heart shaped frame that said a part of the bible verse, to every thing there is a season. I felt like it was a message letting me know her season/time had come. So glad with the news in your update and thank you so much for your healing messages you share.

I have had gastroparesis for 25+ years. A lot of us are fed through IV and feeding tubes. I think people cannot imagine how bad their health can be or how horrible the medical system can be unless you are chronically ill.

Hi Sheila 🙌❤️ … I checked UA-cam a bit ago and saw your new uploaded video …. To say I was beyond happy to watch it & hear the wonderful news you shared with us is an understatement …. I’ve kept Ken in my prayers ever since you told us of his accident. And I want to say how blessed I feel that Ken had his turnaround on July 23rd as that is my birthday! It reminds me of a Godwink ~An event seemingly coincidental, but coming from divine origin… Always a sign of hope…. Another word for answered prayer…. 🙌❤️✝️
I’ll continue to keep Ken and your wonderful family in my prayers ….
Love you my friend! Karen 🙏🏻❤️
