In Serbia we spinkle the phyllo with oil, egg, some Greek yogurt and spakling water mixture. Give it a try, its more calories but tasty.

Danijela what are calories?!? :))) I forget about healthy diet the moment the smell from the oven starts spreading! I put much more feta cheese and more milk (personal preference) and no herbs but will try this one too as I love herbs:)
Aside from the sparkling water, my grandma would put all those ingredients along with feta when she'd make filling for tiropitakia (mini cheese pies, not phyllo-based).
In Serbia you have no money to make pie like this...your standard is poor...hence why you are using mineral water and few ingredients.
Akis, you are a great teacher. You make it easy for your audience to try delicious Greek inspired recipes. I wish you would use a different metaphor when describing how to handle phyllo dough. It's offensive and demeaning to women. I just want to raise your awareness. But you are a true Greek so you intuitively know that women are very strong. Thanks for all you do. I'm a big fan.
I bet the flavor of the pie is absolutely amazing! Probably smells out of this world while baking as well.

It's mostly made in homes , that's why. I think this is mostly sold in northen greece.
