Being a newer jerma viewer invokes a similar feeling to stumbling on a franchise that's been going for decades or a dead MMO. That being the feeling of missing out. I wish I was here, instead I was wasting my time getting pushed down a political pipeline by ""commentary channels"" and becoming an alcoholic.
Jerma's ability to pick up a video game controller and compulsively try to play the game in a way that no developer could ever even try to imagine and then get frustrated at the game is truly something special.
"We can't go too overboard with this, we have to live with this for the rest of the game." Immediately makes this most horrifying thing whose photons have ever imprinted onto my eyes.
Jerma is a very contrarian man. In true crime: streets of NY, he was punished for killing pedestrians. In response, he went on rampaging killing sprees. Now in this game, he is rewarded for his actions; but hates doing it. He also has killed people in real life and, despite the months of chase given by the cops and certain death penalty, he still continues to kill. I am his next victim. Help m
@@pinkmoon0 It's funny you say this cause this is shown even more with his Hitman streams. If the game tells him "Hey, you lose points for doing this." he wants to challenge the system no matter what the cost.
Yeah, just like with XQC, it's now all Twitch sponsor stream games versus the OG emulated stuff that Jerma used to play, the bounty system singlehandedly killed Twitch in terms of watchability. I get why Jerma is retiring. Why would you continue streaming games if they're all sponsored and it's $ per viewer you get watching a sponsored game versus something you enjoy playing that you aren't being paid for? Eg, Roller Coaster Tycoon or discovering a new game and showing it off to your stream.
@@BananaPhoPhilly He's "soft retiring" basically he's not going to be doing as many streams but most if all are going to be streams he wants to do like weird games, taste testing, fun little events for himself. I think he's also going to avoid sponsored streams? It's basically just slowing down for his health.

I don't get what it was that made Jerma so (self-)conscious about killing random people in this game. In any other game, he runs over pedestrians like it's the only way he can feel happy, but, for some reason starting when they were clearing out the underground for the new crib at the start of the game, he got really, really defensive about killing the squatters. Then, around 1:18:00, he's bothered about strippers in the club getting shot, too. Like, on the one hand, yeah, a good person wouldn't put those people in harm's way and would be careful about who they kill, but the Boss is a drug-pushing, pimping, mass-murdering sociopath. I don't know what misled Jerma into thinking he should behave in this game.
@@thearchitect5405 An action having funny results and an action being done with the intention of making you laugh are not necessarily the same thing. @@AdamKlownzinger Ehhh, I dunno, 'cause it's not like he's calling attention to the fact that he's doing it. I think that, at some point while he was killing the squatters, a chatter pointed out that they were "innocent" people who were just living there, and Jerma got self-conscious about it, but it's just odd. I don't think it would necessarily be the first time he's ever virtue-signaled, if it were, but I don't think this is an instance.
I might be missing something but why does Jerma answer ‘would you have kids’ with ‘I’ve shit my pants in the last year’ I’m not seeing the correlation?
1:24 I am convinced that character creators were a mistake. Like 1% of all people who play games with a robust character creator will actually make a balanced looking character. Everything else is mass sex appeal, mass absurdity, mass sex appeal, mass absurdity, and it makes things so boring because so few people are willing to be creative, they just throw the sliders to the end and call it a day.
