Buy the clear storage bins for pantry/ fridge storage and melt holes with soldering iron. Much cheaper for long pots. I re-purposed my breast milk storage containers this way👌🏻❤
G'day Emma, I have a P. Silver Cloud that I will soon be potting up in a Lechuza 40 (that I gifted to myself haha) and look forward to watching it crawl. Will definitely be doing the same as you here once it outgrows that planter. And will definitely be hinting the Lechuza 50 to my family just in case they wanna 'surprise me' 🥰
I just upsized my p.mcdowell and I can already tell it’ll need done again before the summer ends. Would you say there’s such a thing as too big a pot for crawlers?
Hi Emma! This was great! I've got a question: I received a Pastazanum free with another plant - she's gorgeous and my first crawler. I can't help but wonder if a large diameter (24" +) shallowish round pot might do for her if I guide her around the edge..? Am I just bonkers thinking this could work? I always see the rectangular boxes being used - longer and longer... I'm picturing rows of them with props. I'm thinking a big round planter with the plants set a little deeper in could last twice as long. Maybe. If crawlers are flexible or might turn on their own when they encounter resistance. Maybe there's a reason everyone uses long boxes..! I do love how yours turned out. I'm so glad I found your channel. I saw you with Claire and it was so much fun! What a great way to learn. I love that you're both so real - I get myself into all sorts of predicaments cuz I don't think things through either... 😅
You defo can guide them a bit. I’ve not done it but I saw Claire do it with her McDowell. Just gotta scoot it a bit every day & guide it to where you want it
HI Emma, you've done thema good service 🌱 also it's been the first repot in a while that you seemed to be happy about and actually enjoy and not just do because of necessity?
Fab, thanks Emma. When you use LGL with pon, do you just fill the reservoir with the strength as detailed on the bottle for semi hydro and keep that topped up with that? Or do you add just water every now and again?
Curious why you didn't use pon semi hydro for your Mamei? I've got a Gloriousum, pastazanum and Plowmanii that are growing semi hydroponically but I noticed they're slow to grow... Also, do you use a ph balancer for your liquid gold leaf nutrient solution? Thx!
Not sure why I’ve just always had it in soil 🤷🏻♀️ I guess I could change it but if it’s happy enough then it’s fine I guess. And no, I just use it as is 😉
Hmmm sounds like you’ve got some bigger issues at hand, either unhappy soil, or the plant is being stressed by the repot. Some plants react a lot to their roots being messed with
Can't get enough of both you and Clare ❤💜🥰

Ooh good shout! Just gotta find myself the right size ones! Thanks!
Hey Emma great to meet you on the Soil Nija Stand on Saturday. Thanks for the chat. Tony
Nice going Emma! Now you’ve double. The soil from the mamei was great after being used. Thanks for sharing!

They make the perfect presents! I hope your silver cloud loves it’s new pot!
Great work,to have more of these beautiful leaves👍
💚🌱☘️🌵💚
I have several crawlers that need help, so this was great!❤
Gorgeous plants ❤
I dont think the Gloriosum gets enough light: The stems of the leafs are super long an the distance between the nodes aswell

Hmm I don’t think there can be! The only size restraint is what fits in your home!

I have been binge watching your videosssss! Love them! Love you!
Aww thanks!
I just chopped my gloriosum a few days ago into 2, and reset them both into the planter. I feel like this video was targeted. 🤣🥰
Your shirt tho 😍😍😍 I need that one in my life!!!

Yeah I did really enjoy this one! 🥰

I do the former. But it typically comes in the form of every now and then because I try not to let my reservoirs empty all the way
I love watching other people chop plants but I’m so scared to do it myself with my important plants 😅
I know the feeling but it’s the best way to keep them growing strong for longer!
Love your videos. Question....Can these be grown on moss poles? Just curious.
They are crawlers not climbers. The like to creep across the ground.
maybe stupid question but what happened if u put these on a moss pole
It’s possible they would try and climb up it but their nature is to crawl so it might be a bit of a struggle to keep them growing upwards
What do you believe to be the best beginner crawler? I’m a tad intimidated.
I’ve had no big issues with either of these. Both have had pests before but easy enough to get rid of those like any other plant
love the shirt haha
thanks! It's from tropics narcotics 😉

Why isnt it a problem when you mix a bit of soil and pon and use it again and when i cant even use the tools i used with soil or the plant dies 😂❤

@@GoodGrowing thank you thats not what what i wanted to ask but you gave a better answer than the question
