Pastor Dowell answers the question ~-~~-~~~-~~-~ Please watch: "Wood Stoves and Fire places are being banned" • Wood Stoves and Fire p... ~-~~-~~~-~~-~
I am currently transitioning to wearing head coverings. I will be honest it is a little hard getting use to seeing myself with a head covering but I've noticed when wearing it men treat me different.
~1 Corinthians 11 is not cultural only, but for today as well because in this chapter, Paul mentions we cover "because of the Angels". Angels still exist, so, we see it is still for today. ~Paul says even nature teaches us that our hair is given to her for a covering. That is correct. We learn our hair is our "all the time covering" even when we are not praying. Paul even states that if your hair is cut super short or shaven, you should cover ALL THE TIME (even when you are not praying) because you don't even have your natural covering for when you are not praying. ~Paul tells women to cover her head when she prays and prophesies. We know that this is a physical covering because Paul tells men to take off their covering when they pray. How is a man suppose to take off his hair when he prays and then put it back on? ~We believe Paul says for women to cover when you pray or prophesy. And because we pray at home, or while at the market, as well as at church, we cover not only during Corporate worship, but also outside of worship. That is why women usually wear it all day while out of the house so that they are covered out of obedience in case they pray. 1 Thessalonians @ tells us to "Pray without Ceasing" and 1 Peter @ states "Be Holy for I am Holy" so we believe we should practice holiness, not worldliness... And continuously be in conversation with our Divine God. That is why we also see dressing modestly and head covering go hand and hand.
What about this passage which says we have no such custom? 15 But if a woman have long hair , it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. 16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God. I like to where my hair covered and my Ishi likes it this way as well but we have not found a commandment to do so. Where is the law concerning this if you don't mind. Many sisters veiled during prayer but day to to living I am not sure.
BlackEducationTV from my knowledge Head covering Movement touched on this, they were saying We have no such custom meaning no such custom of women not wearing head covering.
@Redirecting @queentalktv9805 that's exactly what it means if you read other translations it clarifies it NASB 1995 But if one is inclined to be contentious, we have no other practice, nor have the churches of God Berean Standard Bible If anyone is inclined to dispute this, we have no other practice, nor do the churches of God New Living Translation But if anyone wants to argue about this, I simply say that we have no other custom than this, and neither do God’s other churches New International Version If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice-nor do the churches of God
Even Messianic Jews are divided as to whether Paul was really teaching this. They say that the word used regarding cover/uncover is used to talk of "loosening" the hair in the Old Testament, even when it talks about the leper having his head uncovered. Those who point this out say that Paul was talking about women needing their head "covered" as in pinned up on top of the head, which is what Jewish wives did when they got married to show authority in the community. Nowhere in the Old Testament is this a command. I am still trying to figure out for certain what Paul was saying, but there are enough arguments for and against using scripture and the actual words used in the Greek (which also compares to the Hebrew) to make it very unclear as to what he actually taught. Also there is the possibility that he was quoting, as the Bible was not written with punctuation, and then answering that quote. When read this way it could be seen that he was saying hair is given as a covering BUT they were not following the guide of nature, OR it could be read to mean that they DID follow that guide. It's all very confusing when trying to get at what was actually being said - it doesn't help that many of the Jews "rules" were additional rules of men and not of God. Some traditions might have been fine, while clearly others Jesus was not happy with.
Pastor Dowell I had to come back and leave a comment since I was in such a hurry the other day to listen to more of your videos. This was very good and straight to the point!...I have been studying and researching about head coverings for a few weeks now and you have shed more light on this subject for me. Definitely a confirmation and how women should wear head coverings. I sent you a msg today about how to go about planning a visit to Strait Way for my husband, myself, and our children...I hope to hear back soon. We KNOW that Yahuah wants us to come visit. It is awesome how the Ruach works...so glad I was led to your channel! All praise to the TMH!... Shalom & Blessings
A woman is to keep the cover of Christ over her head, not a piece of material. At one time the catholic church had the women cover their head too. As a woman of God I keep the cover of Christ over my head. A scarf won't help.
Now, I agree with that. So many women or covering their head nowadays and you don't know if their are Israelites or not. Also, are they really being submissive to God or their husband and head coverings are been worn by women as a fashion statement these days. I'm willing to listen and learn. My main focus is not about rather I'm suppose to wear head coverings or not, but to make sure I'm cover in the BLOOD OF JESUS by following God's law, praying, being faithful, believing in him to stay on a righteous path.
Thanks for the video. Please provide scriptures. It appears that this is a tradition rather than scriptural. Tradition is tradition rather its Israelite or gentile. Yeshua discussed how we were bogged down with the tradition of men rather than the commandments of Yah. An issue as important as this one needs to be based on scriptures not traditions since we are in the land of captivity and not our home land. Also, remember Rebecca was not an Israelite when she covered her head to meet Isaac, do we even know where this custom come from. All women could have been doing this regardless of their nation. Please advise. Thank you.
Cheeple, 2 very different things. Lust is lust, attraction is attraction. Do not combine them. I reply to u now becuz u have NOT been a disrespectful sexist forgetting that u come from a woman. God made man & woman to help each other & be the strength to the other's weakness. Taken from the side of man NOT from his feet to be trampled. If u follow the old testament so much, study for urself not from what others may interpret 4 u. Man is head of house to b leader NOT dictator! God bless.
Im still learning the isrealite faith so I have a question, do women wear head coverings in their home in private with their husband and children? Or just outside in public only?
Hello Mr. Dowell, I read Ezekiel 21:25-27 and found the answer in verse 27 if men are to wear head coverings. But if one still doesn't understand, I'm a follower of the Messiah Yahushua and he wore (Matthew 4:9) a head cover and will (Rev 14:14) when he comes back. Baruch Ha'Shem v'Shalom.
Pray and ask God for direction on this. Read the bible for yourself and get a Torah as well. I had to do this myself, when I came in the truth. Man always have their own opinion. Only God has the answers, just like we are NOT suppose to wear pants. I read the KJV 1611 bible and get you a Torah.
I thank u for it. Others are quite disrespectful.Demonstrating that they truly have not God for if 1 has God 1 has love & if a person believes another to b wrong, by insulting them & demeaning them is NOT the way to win them over to what they may believe to be truth. I will not make any videos on these topics b-cuz many ppl on YT do NOT know how to have a discussion w/out being disrespectful & insulting which only makes them look bad & idiotic in the first place. Thx 4 ur time sweetie God bless.
The fashion industry does not make it easy to dress proper! Little girl clothes cut short and tight. Boys clothes full of death totems. I have to buy my little girl, boy pants and girl shirts in a bigger size not to show any part of her body. It's not easy for her, all her friends are allowed to dress in the clothes they pass off for little girls clothes. You know it's bad when you can buy adult petite shirts and it fits an 8yr old properly.
In the church I was raised in until 12 was and still do wear head covering. Mennenite reformed. A strict and legalistic religion. I understand sacred due to the way of worship. I also understand being shunned. I am now from the world. I smile. They will not baptize me due to my leaving the flock. I can attend service but cannot be a member.
Pastor Dowell I Do Not Understand When You Said That Men Should Never Wear Head Coverings According To Scipture, Yet You Are Always Wearing A Ball Cap Most Of The Time. Whats Up?
I am mixed but have recently awakened to the Biblical truth. A bigger question is, how do you know for sure whether or not you are an Israelite??? DNA test? Father’s seed only? Is there an accurate 12 tribes chart? Please tell me!
Pastor Dowell Are you sure that one of the reasons is so that other men will not look at her hair? Would you be jealous for a man to see your wife's hair? Do the women have to cover their when their at home? If so, do you ever see your wife's hair?
"goyim" is a term found throughout the Bible. It's just the Hebrew for gentile. Unfortunately, Man has distorted it's meaning to mean something that it's not. I believe Pastor Dowell is just using the original Hebraic term.
Great video Pastor (a re-watch after 5 years) *It is all about *obedience & submission*.* If you are a gentile woman, then you should not wear head coverings. But, if you are an Israelite woman who obey the laws of YAH... wear Head *HEAD COVERINGS*... show a sign of submission to their messiah and to there husband. *Gentile Woman: SUBJECTION* If you are a gentile woman, then you should *not* wear head coverings. *Israelite Woman: SUBMISSION* If you are an Israelite woman who obey the laws of YAH... *wear* head coverings... show a sign of submission to their messiah and to there husband. Israelite sisters, the bible says you should be covered when you are praying or prophesying. and the Bible also says you should be praying without ceasing. *PRAYING* *1 Thessalonians ****5:17* “pray without ceasing,” *Philippians 4:6* "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God" *Colossians 4:2* "Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving" *Ephesians ****6:18* "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints" *Genesis 24:65* "... And the servant had said, It is my master: therefore she took a vail, and covered herself." *1 Corinthians 11* If you are getting convicted on wearing a head covering, then He is working on you. (some may say that is why women have hair (covering), if this was the case, then all men would need to have there heads shaved) Pray for wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Shalom
I've heard this before. I don't think this is correct because Paul was teaching Jews and Gentiles in the church of Corinth and he was sent to speak specifically to Gentles. Why shouldn't Gentile women cover their heads?
Shalom sir, thanks for clearing this topic up for me sir. I guess then that the best way to know if the woman is not married is to simply ask her, lol. I find that funny because , myself, I thought that maybe this head covering topic had something to do with a woman being single or married as well. YAH bless.
I never had any problem with head coverings but I appreciate you clearing that up. I'm hoping that you or one of the saints please also tell me why you don't wear wedding rings.
I did not hear the reason why women should wear head coving. I know the bible says so but what is the purpose other than obeying, this is the question that needs to be answered. Could somebody answer the question?!
Pastor, it can be (and is) crystal clear....but those who have fell in love with the lie wont touch it...which is a shame, thanks to the Father that we are not accountable for their rejecting knowledge! Bless you Pastor, Shalom
In 1 Corinthians the passage says that women were to cover their heads "because of the angels" refers to the stories in Genesis 6 of Noah's Flood being brought because of the Nephilim, or "Giants" as it was translated in the KJV who were children of Fallen Angels who had taken mortal women for wives. They were the men who God viewed as very wicked and corrupted the Earth. According to Genesis 6 this was why the Flood was brought.
Teachings for women....Gain a personal relationship with Go. Israelite women are suppose to have class, speak with grace and be humble. I am classy as well however; I had to learn how to speak like a woman of God. It is not what you say it is how you say it. This is the problem with us Israelite Women, "Our Mouths", and not listening. Anything you want to know about how a woman is suppose to carry herself as an Israelite Woman, type it in your search bar and get you a Torah. Pray for wisdom knowledge and understanding as well. Sweetness comes with prayer and practice, it does not come over night. Shalom.
The head covering is not about "hats" it is about those with authory over them as Yahwah set up through Adan and Eve at the beginning. Women are to be covered by their men, Fathers then Hubands. Men were to have our Messiah Jesus as our covering, not any other man.
Numbers 5:11-31 King James Version (KJV) 11 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 12 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him, 13 And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner; 14 And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled: 15 Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance. 16 And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the Lord: 17 And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water: 18 And the priest shall set the woman before the Lord, and uncover the woman's head,
If we live by the law and not under the law these things will come naturally and we will do all that yah wants as the old ways with no hesitation and yes if you really know the truth than pastor dowll word will make sense
Head coverings is not mentioned in the Old Testament. Head coverings are only mentioned in the New Testament. I am Torah only. However, I do sometimes wear them with my outfits.
Im not an Israelite but u like to wear a head covering I started my relationship with Jesus when i was 13. Im 18 now. Everyone has their own convictions. I don’t believe that if you aren’t an Israelite, it doesn’t apply to you. I wear it to show my submission to god and my future husband. I follow the Bible 100 percent. I dont like to take things out or skip anything that’s important When i read 1 Corinthians 11, i didn’t see anything that had to do with Israelite. I think this is a small issue here the bigger concern should be Jesus Christ.
Unless they have long hair for covering is ok as well. So you follow the food law's as well. The Sabbath well the true Sabbath is blinded to us. Lol I read Tora
holeymosesjew, clearly you think your talking to a woman from 2000 yeas ago, this is a public forum and your not in the position to tell me when to make a comment.
1Corintians. Women with long hair don't have to cover their head, because their hair is a cover. Men do have to cover their heads. Leviticus 10:6 6 And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the Lordhath kindled.
This is a valid question. Head covering for women is not in the Torah. There is no biblical requirement for Hebrew women to do this, this is a man-made rule.
all Hebrew women do not wear head coverings. Hebrew WIVES were wearing head coverings and ultra "orthodox" ie very legalistic in their interpretations wear head coverings, but it came from CULTURE, not from the commandments of God. If you look at what Jewish believers in Messiah have to say about it, there is even controversy there. Even in Paul's admonition in 1 Corinthians, he is addressing wives (gune), not all women.
Ms. Lisa...Sweety I no longer wear pants due to coming in the truth (at age 49 1/2, I am now 50).. reading the bible about wearing pants, researching, seeking the Most High and prayer. Noone says you have to look homey. I wear my jewelry, perfume and a little make up, not much. I wear my skirts and dresses at lest under my knee cap. (the second part of my knee..I am 5-2). I never dressed like a hoochie, nor was I raised that way....Like I said before, gain a personal relationship with God, and he will direct you. Man has their own opinion. It is nice to listen, however; what matters is what THE BIBLE and TORAH SAYS!! I pray God opens your eyes. With Love Virtuous Lady! fyi:I read the King James Bible 1611
Take it from someone who has been there and done that: once you dismiss the Bible "because it was from another culture" or "from thousands of years ago" you are getting LOST. I did that -- and I got and stayed lost for 30 years!
I've seen ppl who wear the (costumes) but act as worldly as anyone else. Not justifying the ppl who do not follow the laws but this is the main example why it's only 144,000 making it into the kingdom.
it also says that a womans hair is a covering as well. But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. 1 cor 11:15
seekingthekingdom101 the problems are in the words used for translating. Covered in Greek is katakaluptos, uncovered is akatakaluptos, when it says that the hair was given as a covering, it uses peri playing which is a luxurious scarf garment that distinguished Greek women of respect. So the long hair is a distinguishing garment, and not a covering.
1Cor 1 v22-23For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom. But we preach Christ crucified,to the Jews,a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness. 1Corr 11 But every women who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head. This cult you have formed dowel, does it have a name?
Oh wow so every man that lusts has a dirty heart and mind? thats too harsh, plus i was just asking why do the women have to cover their hair, cause I can imagine a scenario where the woman covers it all day then removes the cover and shows it off before sex with her husband, make sense?
Why do you keep removing your comments? LOL - I guess theirs two types of lust, theirs the kind thats perverted then theirs the type of lust we can just call Attraction, if it wasnt for Lust (attraction) Men would not marry, its the truth men are attracted Visually for the most part, thats the truth and thats the truth STRAITWAY
I am currently transitioning to wearing head coverings. I will be honest it is a little hard getting use to seeing myself with a head covering but I've noticed when wearing it men treat me different.
Her. Queendom How do they treat you differently?
I had the same experience. Men do treat you differently
People will get mad at you if you tell them what the bible say.
When it comes down to praying and prophecying, men should not cover their heads, but women should.See 1.Corinthians 11:1-15.
I understand that passage of the letter, but please remember Galatians 3:28 is NOT Scriptures! maybe you can understand this point.
~1 Corinthians 11 is not cultural only, but for today as well because in

And that is a point that will be taken
Awesome answer! I never heard it explained this way. I am just awakening to the truth.
What about this passage which says we have no such custom?
15 But if a woman have long hair , it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. 16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

@Redirecting @queentalktv9805 that's exactly what it means if you read other translations it clarifies it
NASB 1995
But if one is inclined to be contentious, we have no other practice, nor have the churches of God
Berean Standard Bible
If anyone is inclined to dispute this, we have no other practice, nor do the churches of God
New Living Translation
But if anyone wants to argue about this, I simply say that we have no other custom than this, and neither do God’s other churches
New International Version
If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice-nor do the churches of God
Submission vs Subjection... Enlightening... Thank you! Blessings Pastor Dowell! Shalom!
Interesting that every so called bible story in hollywood shows the women covered...
Exactly
Halleluyah Pastor. I received conviction just the other day that I must wear a head covering! Glory, Glory!!

Peace and blessings Pastor Do well. I'm wondering if you wear the ribbon of blue and fringes on your garments?
Thanks for this teaching Pastor Dowell
By saying that women that follow the commandments of scripture shouldn’t wear head coverings, he’s already teaching falsehood.
I must agree with the idea of reading the bible for yourself and studying all the meanings in it for yourself.
Thank you !

Pastor, do you wear fringes? I haven't seen you wear them in ur videos, and if you don't, why not?
Look at his video "the great debate". He has his fringes on.
Straightway, straight forward as per usual!
married women cover their heads, like Rebeka when she saw Isaac- as a show of submission under him as her head..
amen!!! I obey the bible and I cover my head...I am a Israelite women...I honor my head my hubby and I respect him...much lovee
Good job

Shouldn't you all as Israelites wear clothes with tattered edges with a blue ribbon? It's in the Bible...
I believe we are not under the law of Moses, but we are under the law of Melchizedek. What is your view pastor? Shalom
Should Israelites be sitting in a building called a church on Sunday please reply
THANK U PASTOR DOWELL THANK U
1 Corinthians 11:15 But if a woman have long hair it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
Should you wear one 24-7 Or just outside the home ?
good question. i want to cover at work, but i cover the rest of the time even to sleep.
That all depends on what your husband wants you to do.
You must ask your head.

*Gentile Woman: SUBJECTION*
If you are a gentile woman, then you should *not* wear head coverings.
*Israelite Woman: SUBMISSION*
If you are an Israelite woman who obey the laws of YAH... *wear* head coverings... show a sign of submission to their messiah and to there husband.
Israelite sisters, the bible says you should be covered when you are praying or prophesying. and the Bible also says you should be praying without ceasing.
*PRAYING*
*1 Thessalonians ****5:17* “pray without ceasing,”
*Philippians 4:6* "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God"
*Colossians 4:2* "Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving"
*Ephesians ****6:18* "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints"
*Genesis 24:65* "... And the servant had said, It is my master: therefore she took a vail, and covered herself."
*1 Corinthians 11*
If you are getting convicted on wearing a head covering, then He is working on you.
(some may say that is why women have hair (covering), if this was the case, then all men would need to have there heads shaved)
Pray for wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
Shalom
I've heard this before. I don't think this is correct because Paul was teaching Jews and Gentiles in the church of Corinth and he was sent to speak specifically to Gentles. Why shouldn't Gentile women cover their heads?
@adam my website
The wearing of wedding rings is a pagan, european tradition not based in Scripture.
I did not hear the reason why women should wear head coving. I know the bible says so but what is the purpose other than obeying, this is the question that needs to be answered. Could somebody answer the question?!
Praise AHAYAH!
Is the point of covering the head so that their hair doesn't make men lust?
All Israelites women do not cover they heads unless they are praying and prophesying. The head covering is a man made custom not Law
Does a baseball cap or cowboy hat count?
How did that woman dry our brothers feet with her head covered?? would you allow a woman to dry your feet with her hair..?
Pastor, it can be (and is) crystal clear....but those who have fell in love with the lie wont touch it...which is a shame, thanks to the Father that we are not accountable for their rejecting knowledge! Bless you Pastor, Shalom
So would I..
9:35 Comming from a man wearing a baseball cap.
lol xD
with no repenting? With no turning from Sin...amazing, I leave you to that.
According to Genesis 6 this was why the Flood was brought.
holeymosesjew, exactly, your entitled to your opinion just as I am mine. I'm a very classy woman and out spoken.
Shalom.
Yeah right. So, when God dealt with stealing. He said cut your hand off. Does that mean you should literally cut your hand off?
The head covering is not about "hats" it is about those with authory over them as Yahwah set up through Adan and Eve at the beginning.
Women are to be covered by their men, Fathers then Hubands.
Men were to have our Messiah Jesus as our covering, not any other man.
wheres the scriptures
yahyah taza-daq hayah 1 Corinthians 11 talks about it
1 Corinthians 11: 2-16, Genesis 24: 65, Genesis 6: 1-4...
@@TheSueb0154 gen 6:1-4 says nothing about head coverings for a woman
what bible do you read pastor? do you read king james? please let me know,,I admire your pro-activism, and is a follower of your wisdom.
Pastor Dowell should know the military term "by the numbers."
I'm so confused.
Numbers 5:11-31 King James Version (KJV)
11 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
12 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,
13 And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;
14 And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:
15 Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.
16 And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the Lord:
17 And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:
18 And the priest shall set the woman before the Lord, and uncover the woman's head,
If we live by the law and not under the law these things will come naturally and we will do all that yah wants as the old ways with no hesitation and yes if you really know the truth than pastor dowll word will make sense
a hat is a form of head cover. state or church you choose. lol jk im just talking shit you have very good points. great video
Better question is, did they actually call themselves Christians?
Mainly it's a law from God,Israelites women single or marry do so.God bless 💞
That's right! Read the book of Judith. She is Israel. The book said she platted her hair covered her head.
Did THE 1st woman WEAR head cover???
Probably not she wasn’t an Israelite.
The 1st woman aka Eve also ate the forbidden fruit...
So many.. Just google or even UA-cam it.
I think this is a small issue here the bigger concern should be Jesus Christ.
what about the Ethiopian Jews?
Unless they have long hair for covering is ok as well. So you follow the food law's as well. The Sabbath well the true Sabbath is blinded to us. Lol I read Tora
Long hair for covering?...What?....like a bun.
For protection against the angels.
holeymosesjew, clearly you think your talking to a woman from 2000 yeas ago, this is a public forum and your not in the position to tell me when to make a comment.
Society changes, God’s word does not
she letting the father know she not submitted?
You do teacher without that hat on right?
1Corintians. Women with long hair don't have to cover their head, because their hair is a cover.
Men do have to cover their heads.
Leviticus 10:6
6 And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the Lordhath kindled.
This is a valid question. Head covering for women is not in the Torah. There is no biblical requirement for Hebrew women to do this, this is a man-made rule.
Denise Greenberg I agree sister but I don't see any videos talking about that. 🤔
Denise Greenberg 1 Corinthians 11
Sister Please read 1 Corinthians Chapter 11 Verses 3-6 for understanding on this subject, It is Biblical and not man-made.
Corinthians 11
It basically says women should have their head covered when they pray. But it does not say their head should be covered all the time.
I'm Methodist. And we believe we should not cut our hair, and we have to wear it up. Hubby only one who gets to see it down.
Sin is the transgression of God's law. Where in the entirety of Yahweh's law does He command women to wear a piece of cloth on their head?
1 Corinthians 11.
1Cr 11:2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered [them] to you.
all Hebrew women do not wear head coverings.
If they're not wearing hair coverings then they are not Israelites. PERIOD.
I believe in the most high, however I'm not dressing like I'm from 2000 years ago. I'm not knocking anyone who does.
Virtuous Lady , I'm not judging,I'm saying what I'm not going to dress like .....I will be respectful towards myself....
Take it from someone who has been there and done that: once you dismiss the Bible "because it was from another culture" or "from thousands of years ago" you are getting LOST. I did that -- and I got and stayed lost for 30 years!
I have a head covering my wig
I've seen ppl who wear the (costumes) but act as worldly as anyone else. Not justifying the ppl who do not follow the laws but this is the main example why it's only 144,000 making it into the kingdom.
This is not in TORAH, I only follow TORAH not Paul opinion.
it also says that a womans hair is a covering as well.
Read the book of Judith
3 people who gave a thumbs down clearly are coming from a gentile perspective.
1Cor 1 v22-23For Jews request a sign,and Greeks seek after wisdom.
But we preach Christ crucified,to the Jews,a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness.
1Corr 11 But every women who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered
dishonors her head.
This cult you have formed dowel, does it have a name?
Is the teaching that a woman should be submissive to ALL MEN or only HER MAN?
educate me...
Sir,
Where in the law does God say a Hebrew woman ought to be covered?
Who is Paul addressing in
1 Corinthians 11 KJB ?
