I’m a veiling spiritualist. I veil to protect my spiritual light and to protect from negative energies/evil eye. I also veil because i love having control over how much of myself i share with the world.
I have a strong sense of NEEDING to head cover but can not explain why from a spiritual perspective. My logical mind can not make sense of the idea that fabric can protect spiritual energy. Please clarify. As a side note; I TOTALLY resonate with the idea of controlling how much of myself I wish to share!
Yesterday I broke down and prayed to spirit. I’m not religious. I am spiritual but life threw me off. I just found out I’m pregnant and I just got this urge to cover my head and grow my hair out. I need to meditate and tap back into myself. I randomly searched this up n found you. I feel like I’m going getting on the path spirit wants me too.
I am white European and Italian... but I am having a overwhelming urge to cover my hair and also not eat meat. I'm very hesitant for many reasons but the older I get the more intense feelings that I need to cover my head.... can I have anyones thoughts on this
It's your own feeling so It might have a physical reason. You are the One Who can tell why. I do cover my hair for environmental reason. I would never do that for getting respect from others. Who are the others anyway? I really don't get the reasons that others say here. All women of all colours deserve respect and kindness. In Europe a lot of effort has been done. Anyway if you live in Italy you know that men are not so obsessed with female hair. Wearing a headscarf as a White woman Is considered just plain weird, not a sign of respect.
Do it That is your personal choice I don’t know your faith but Roman Catholics wear head coverings to mass It may be connected to a spiritual journey you’re wanting to embark on You’re skin color has nothing to do with it I am a woman of color Many people are unaware that historically many European woman have worn head wraps as cultural attire Head wraps originated in Africa and traveled throughout Europe including Italy Be respectful of choices as their are styles that have meaningful cultural history and ones worn for special occasions and/or attached to tribes
@@LaBelleJouJou 👍This is very true for historical Europe. The reasons for head covering were many. First and foremost forgotten: hygiene. When hair could not be washed everyday and soil and dirt was everywhere women with long hair needed to protect it. Other reasons: - general modesty only in some parts of Europe. - sexuality and reproduction: girls before marriage had to show their hair to express their health to possible mates, then they covered their hair after marriage. This was very common in East Europe. - religious Christian habits, yes, Catholic and Orthodox women used to wear lace veils at church up until the early '60s and it had to be white for little girls and black for married women, but nowadays it is completely gone! If you go to a church with a lace veil, unless it is an official encounter with Pope in Vatican, which is a very rare occasion, you will stick out of the crowd and be perceived as plain WEIRD but hey, you're not killing anyone, so do as you please.
I began to cover my head recently. Many reasons, a personal reminder, but I can say that since I have been devoted in covering my head, men approach me less. This is a huge positive (even if it's a significant adjustment from previous 😅). Not much has changed about how I dress, but I can understand hijab women citing protection. There's a distance now between me and most men, and I feel the difference is intention. It's not just fashion for me, I wore it for protection, and I feel that it's deflected a lot of wanton, casual sex, "let me see what I can get" energy from men. I've always had thick, long hair, even in afro state and a lot of attention for it. The men who talk to me now are very respectful, almost categorically, and no getting hit on. And I don't get weird people invading my space, trying to touch me, staring, asking inane questions about hygeine and gravity. People keep their distance more, and self select instead of "shooting their shot." It's quiet and I like it. I also wore it for clarity. It feels like the energetic equivalent or shielding your eyes so you can see better in the sun. And lastly, I wanted to orient myself. I felt more and more like I only want my man to see my hair, just like many other parts of me. Isė
Assalamu alaikum! Very interesting! But as a muslim woman I feel like I need to make this comment because I feel like we are not being represented completely accurately 😅 we wear hijab because it says in the Quran we are to wear hijab so that we may be recognized (as muslims). we are to lower our gaze and dress modestly, not really as “guard for rape” but it goes a little deeper and serves to keep far away from any sexual deviancy at all (ie adultery and other things) (reminder that hijab is prescribed for men and women). Also the feeling you describe of being sensitive to energy is a large reason muslim women veil as well. We are very attuned to how dangerous evil eye is, hijab is meant to protect you from the seen AND the unseen. A lot of the reasons actually overlap because there is truth in the protection veiling offers. Muslims are very specific with hijab honestly first to be recognized as muslims and to show devotion and submission to Allah. It is a choice and it ebbs and flows like everything. But yeah i hope this gives a little more insight, because yes hijabi women are raped unfortunately all the time, i really question the people that said that was the reason they are wearing hijab 😅
@@darkfeminineconsciousness Masha Allah I was just about to comment on this. I'm afraid many sisters don't even know why they wear the hijab. It is because Allah commanded the women of the time that were pagan, circulating the kaabah naked (and converted to Islam), to take their head covering (that was already part of their customary dress) and cover their "awrah". The scholars vary in their opinion of what awrah or beauty is in the woman. Some say it includes the hands, the feet, the face, and even the eyes! That's why you see some sisters wearing niqab to cover their face. Back then, it was to protect them from being touched or raped, and show them as distinct from the other pagan women, who were used for sex at that time, as Islam was new and strange. So women needed to be identified as Muslim and untouchable. So yes, back then it was for protection and identification. Today, it seems like the hijab has become fashion and to be honest, I don't think it has anything to do with men. Because I wear hijab, dress modestly, and some men find that even more sexy because it makes their imagination run wild lol! Go figure. But it's about spirituality, piety, modesty, and being identified as Muslim so that non Muslim men cannot (should not) approach us in a disrespectful manner. It also makes me conscious of my behaviour when I'm out, because people judge us differently and expect a certain type of manners when they see it. I also get treated with much more respect by men when I go out (mostly). Men open doors for me, allow me to pass. Call me sister or empress. If a sister says it has anything to do with their husband it's sad. These are usually sisters who marry into the religion and didn't study it and their husbands just tell them they need to cover and keep their beauty for their husband alone. Which is true. But it's not the reason for it. Just goes to show the state of the Muslim community in the west and caribbean
@@thecopyconvert5881 it always amazes me what motivates men. Thank you for your contribution. I especially appreciate the part about being identified as Muslim so others know to approach with respect.
I’ve only heard women say they wear hijab as a choice, I’ve never heard anyone explain it having anything to do with men. I guess the context has always been that Muslim women are oppressed and forced to dress modestly including covering their heads. So the women are saying no, they’re not forced, it’s a choice, and they like it.
We cover our hair: 1. Against bad energies. 2. Against the environmental hazards ( wind, sun, winter, rain etc.) 3. Grow out our hair and keep moisture. 4. To take a break from styling. 5. Better than using wigs and weaves which contain other people's energies and ruin edges. I think about the hijabs yh men well most men are attracted to hair. I'm a Ghanaian 🇬🇭 and we wear scarves called ' duku' on the regular or religious purposes. There are head wraps for special occasions as well. I prefer African print head wraps, satin scarves and satin chiffon scarves.
Duku…I’ll definitely look that up. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏿 and i wish black women would open their eyes about #5 because is a serious thing. I’m so used to our hair not being apart of what makes us desirable that it’s hard to see it as something that attracts men…but it makes sense….that’s why black women wear weaves so much. At root of it, it’s about desirability
Would you mind if I use this. I just don't wanna have to explain lol 😆 but I'm at the point where I don't. Ever since I've been covering my hair I've felt more feminine and beautiful.
We are sun people. It's really sad for me bc I know how damaging it is for us to hide from the sun. Our hair needs sun. Our skin needs the sun. The sun connects to the crown chakra and gives us spiritual downloads. We have that advantage.
Thank you for sharing why you cover your Crown! I’ve been receiving messages to cover mine, so I’ve been covering my head whenever I go in public. My spirit told me that it was to protect my Crown from other people’s energy. What you said about people sucking you in more resonates so much with me. Thank you again for sharing.
Men can fetishise our hair so I completely understand. I have recently decided to stop showing my hair as people always comment on it and sometimes it can be overwhelming so only relatives can see it and the man I am dating. I feel released from all the focus on my dreadlocks. I feel free.
We (Muslims) wear hijabs for many reasons. I’ve never heard anyone say to be protected from a men. But men are very attracted to hair. Whenever I don’t wear a hijab, the first thing I’m complimented on from a man is my hair - and it’s always a lustful look. Any head coverings also protect us from carrying around negative energies as well. Again, there are many reasons. Pretty much the same reasons why any of us wear head coverings.♥️
Thank you for this. I am religious and both times I have covered (I covered full time and stopped and just started back). My reasons were the same as you. I have had a lot going on in my personal life and felt like I was under attack from the evil eye . I literally felt something evil at work. When I covered my locs and start my day with prayer and meditation, it went away. I am open to the idea of religious and spiritual covering. I believe whatever reason you choose to cover is a personal choice that should be respected.
Thank you for this video ❤ I just move to a large city after living in a remote wilderness town for many years, and feel completely overwhelmed by the negative energies swirling around here. Before, my sensitivity was useful because it helped in my tribe / community … but now , I feel the need to protect myself, like a shield for my crown chakra.
Thank you for posting this. My reason I want to cover my hair is to protect my full self. Especially when I practice and this video let me see the unity
Hey dear, white european here, not religious and never will be religious by my own free will. I sometimes cover my head (or crown chakra if you feel like looking at it through that line of thought) to "protect my own inner peace". I tend to be very sensitive, means i pick up a lot of emotional/mental projections without being as good at fully elaborating those and regardless of choosing to do so, and so i often end up being in sensory overload (it's like being in emotional and psychological labour, doing the work with information that most times isn't even mine, In other words i tend to have a "channeling and alchemising" kinda urge that can be as strong as coming at the detriment of prioritizing my own personal needs and well-being). Imagine this state of being like being some kind of perceptive sponge somehow related to the crown chakra and being so sensitive that you perceive more than you can consciously elaborate so you get often drained, dizzy or moody. I find that by covering my head and even better by covering my head with materials that isolate or conduce electromagnetically, this "channeling urge" is reduced and so i can go about my day without being "thrown out of balance" by "external influence". Head covering is like wearing puffy gloves to prevent getting bitten when you're feeding animals with thick teeth for the first time, except, you're sort of protecting the mind instead. As far as i am concerned it might as well just be about belief, still, it works and doing it doesn't hurt anyone so either way i am good with it. I know there's a lot of cross-cultural terminology in this explaination attempt so I hope it makes sense when you read it. Have a beautiful day!! 💮💮
I just found this video and read your comment. If you don’t mind sharing, what material do you use for your head coverings? I’m looking into using head coverings when I go out to protect my energy. Thank you.
@@rosagarcia5757 I do a multiple layers kinda covering, onion style cause you know, the times ain't great so, the first layer is usually of "what a mindless, carcinogenic, lack mentality kinda worthless fake science or fake spirituality based lost fool would rather influence my mind than build some common ground with me considering that I am all in for real solid improvement for all? Not one who's worth the discomfort unless they're honestly calling for help or so", the second layer is generally made of "they're surely desperate but allowing them to tear me down certainly won't lift them up so, again, it ain't worth it", the third layer is always invariably made of "the only influence I'd ever accept on me, is an influence that wants both my best interest and other people's best interest", the fourth layer is made of a very insulating "if their influence is already this painful, better having something in the middle to mediate than having direct contact, no way I get that anywhere near me, predators can be sweet animals but still", the fifth layer is made of "if they're using and developing tech to try to influence minds and destroy people's goodness, regardless of their faction, they're gonna roast themselves anyways so I don't even need this one layer", the sixth layer is then anything possibly vegan or second hand with colours, motifs and textures that I enjoy cause focusing on enjoyment and on what's important is far more productive, than, if it's a very annoying day and enough is enough, I use a layer of anything like fahrenheit blankets and wishing them instant karma and loads of luck to understand and part-take to functionality if they survive their own crap (this one is usually only if it's scientists and war minded fools with zero ethics on their little, sadistic, empty mathematical skulls who are trying to "influence" negatively on purpose). I'd gladly go more in detail with materials but that's mostly something you can easily find on the internet (search for electromagnetic insulation). Have a good day 🌸
Thank you for this video. About a year ago I started feeling a pull to cover my hair. I don't cover all the time, but I do so when I need to protect my energy and essence from others. I'm currently creating and practicing different ways to cover with bandeaus and love learning all the different ways and reasons women cover. 💜
Head coverings make me feel like I am being comforted and protected, especially when I also cover my ears. I wonder if other people also feel this way, ... and about the ears. This is how I FEEL. My researching this is because I could not understand or articulate this feeling of need to cover my head (and ears). I would love for someone to explain the idea of fabric actually having a spiritually protective effect. It does not seem to make logical sense but I know I feel the need for the covering. Happy for thoughts on the matter.
Wow I am the 112th commentor! Well, as a Sanatan Dharmi (Hindu) I FELT IT when you said 'That's not Christ like' cuz I love Jesus! He was a Yogi, a Rishi, a Paramhans! He witnessed and MERGED with the Divine, yet he knew about it from the very beginning that he would merge. Some people are too BLOCKED to have an open conversation with. Yes, u can disagree. Yes, you can voice out your opinion. But this can be done while maintaining sanctity. Great to see your video!
I´ve never come to realize til now that I intuitively wear headwraps whenever I want to protect myself from negative or uncertain energy and jugdement. Especially when driving I need to always wear one. But also to protect my locs from bad air, smoke, dirt,...
Love the sharing Empress Peace and Love. Over thirty years I have done head coverings and at some times I had my hair out when I had Locs . As my hair gotten thin I wear it when my inner spirit tells me. Now have bald spots due to Thyroid issues my hair is close to my scalp but I love seeing us wearing head coverings/ wraps. So I wear head wraps most of the time. Rock them styles of Headwraps 👑🎯❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥
Drinking water is all your scalp really requires. Hair covers made of satin or silk actually keep hair moisturized. I wear one to sleep and my hair feels like velvet in the mornings.
Thank you for sharing this 💓 I’m Christian. ✝️ The reason I wear head coverings is due to spiritual reasons, relationship and respect for the Lord. I’m also spiritually more sensitive, intuitive, and connected to God with my head cover on. Head coverings are powerful. 1 Corinthians 11:10 🕊️
I just came from a lecture of this Christian dude (I'm not even Christian idk why I was listening to it) but he was making a biblical case on why head coverings should be used and everyone was eating each other alive in the comments 😭
I greatly appreciate the care you put into this video and learned so much from watching it. I am a white female of Western European descent and am extremely energetically sensitive. I feel the need to cover my crown chakra for energetic protection but want to do so in a manner that is respectful and is not cultural appropriation. This video has given me help with how to start my research. Thank you!
Men supposed to lower their gaze ( in Islam) instead of trying to victim blame women God made your hair men need to control their self and behaviors period!
Oh really? I have never thought about that but that is interesting because black people are known for covering their heads to sleep. For vanity yes but still there might be a connection
I love them. Well I started when I was eleven because I was natural. Just to preserve the moisture. As I grew, I wore it to protect certain energy. If I am not wearing it I may have a head chain or jewel on for my chakra protection
do our part in being modest, preventing lust, jezibel spirit, reserving ya glory for your consort, maintaining a genuine integrity. I note covering does also command a respect and repel shallow unworthy dudes that prefer make believe.
How can I phrase this to HR? bc My job just tried to tell me I couldn’t cover my hair bc it isn’t “professional” unless it for religious beliefs or ethnicity. I am not religious but I do cover it up sometimes bc of comfortability, energy, & shoot sometimes bc my hair isn’t done. I recently just wore Some 2 days in a row bc of the moon & Ik there was possibly a lot of energy being put out & they took a picture of me from the cameras & said I needed to speak to HR if I had any religious beliefs. But I’m blk I should be able to cover my hair if I feel I need to!
We suffer the same oppression everywhere we are. Even in Jamaica we have similar challenge. Recently I wanted to cover my hair for my passport and they said I couldn’t unless it’s religious but I’m not religious about covering my hair….I cover when I feel the need to and I don’t see myself traveling without covering it. I may very well tell them it’s religious. Maybe you could tell them something similar like you follow a specific order and some days you are required to wear head covering. Is it something they need proof of?
I started over two years ago maybe more I worked for the federal government at the time and people whom I work with didn't know how to take me. Now I moved to SC people LOOK real hard at me not sure what to make of it. I love head wraps I real protected as well. My husband loves it but he is African.
I woke up this morning, on my period and I felt so led to cover my head. Then I saw this video and you put it into words why I felt connected to the head covering. I feel my energy is protected because during my period I am so much more open. Thank you for this! 💚
Muslim woman are taught to cherish there innocence that covering protects that innocence. I cover my head because i am treated with more respect. Men do act with better behavior around me. Which i appreciate. i wrap my head because it feels right.
Sikh women (and men) also cover their hair with turbans and headwraps, our hair is extremely spiritual for us and practising Sikhs won't ever cut their hair, we keep it protected and covered and respect it deeply.
Peace and happiness 💛 Although im not Muslim I do overstand the hijab as I've had friends who are Muslim. I must say there isn't a small number of men who will r@pe. R@pe cames in more than one form from forcible, drugged, adults having sex with minor (there is no such thing as a child consenting to adult), being tricked such as going with someone just to spend time together and he/she puts certain music or different scents which can alter your inital reason for being there, and lastly being talked in to it in fear of being physically harmed or abandoned in the middle of no where. The late great Dr. Afrika speaks on this and there are women who are survivors that speak on their experiences.
Can someone please explain how they manage head wrapping and banks? Where I live, you are not allowed to have coverings. I hate this because I am ALWAYS covered and must remember the days I will go to the bank to not cover my head or to only cover around the rim (which they accept). ... PLEASE tell me about how people (Muslim, etc) deal with this issue. (airports, etc)
They get exemptions based on their spiritual culture. I think it’s something you have to declare when you travel. I’m not certain about banks. Where do you live?
We do it for ALLAH obeying the command of God (Allah)makes us happy Everytime we wear hijab We wear an AYAH of QURAN. Allah himself has given the instructions to do such things in the HOLY QURAN (Surah AN NOOR Verse 31) (Surah AL AHZAB Verse 59) In the Qur'an,not Just women but men too have been given instructions (Surah AN NOOR Verse 30)of keeping their eyes low, dress up modesty & respect women. The ultimate life goal of Muslim is The Instructions given by ALLAH in QURAN or the way our Prophet has taught us to live life To FOLLOW the same thing so,the Muslim women try to Apply these RULES in REAL LIFE . One more significance of dressing up like this is that you can observe &tell in a minute That this is a Muslim lady so,hijab is more like an identification of a Muslim. It is a barrier between a man and a Muslim women that signifies that a Muslim lady can't be dealt with casually by any random man or a guy or can't be touched casually or be done any indecent Behaviour not even any indecent talks. This is a significance that the Muslim women are very respectfull& everyone has to act nicely with them with full manner & do not cross a certain line so,a Hijab tells a man to treat a Muslim Women with utmost dignity & Respect.
The lady on the UA-cam video in the story you describe I believe she felt the same way with the white man as you feel. You show your hair on videos because its different as you say… it’s just on a video so it not the same as walking around with your hair out . She only took it down to show on the video so I get why she did it and also to give a bit of knowledge to share knowledge could be another reason why she felt led to do it
Allso, small portion of men my ass. Most women face sexual harassment, about 1 in 3 women face sexual assault globally. Not even counting stalking and kidnap and murder or just plain ol creeps. When you put all of this together, that makes every woman likely to come across some shit every time they leave the house for more than an hour. Until we can tell which men, it's all men. Not even animals like them. They won't let men work at certain shelters because the animals have androphobia. You gonna tell those animals hey, fuck your instincts not all men are like that lol.
As a Christian you can't be so open to ideals as to bring about change that would cause you to deviate from the ways and the will of God. We conduct ourselves according to His will, according to scripture, which is His Holy Word. He commands such covering not just of our head to honor our husbands if we have one but man period and of course God is above the man. 1 Corinthians 11 kjv. In addition to covering our head we must dress modestly so that we do not draw attention to ourselves.
Well said, Christian women dresses to Draw Attention to Themselves and Their Surroundings. It’s very very Ungodly, it real upsetting. Those tight jeans and breast exposure but again they will say touch not the anointing
As an Israelite woman, I wear a head wrap as a sign of my spiritual covering. There are times I give my hair a break and wear it down BUT, I was thinking of getting back to wearing them all the time again (at least in public). Other Israelite women do it as a sign of modesty. I'll be honest with you, wearing my headwrap does make me feel more like a lady and not the harlot I used to be. And no, I'm not saying wearing your hair out makes you a harlot. I'm speaking solely for me. Also, I have locs as well. Shalum 🤗
1. it Stops her from flirting with men. A. Hair flips B. when a woman lifts her hand it can be recognized as a HELLO to men and Nephilm. C. when a woman lifts her hand towards her head it lifts the breast and she naturally turns in the direction of male. Knowledge is a Super Power become a Super Hero
I have a strong urge to cover my head and to dress differently and I don’t know where to begin, and I don’t want anyone to think I’m being disrespectful to their beliefs, religion or culture. But for years I’ve been strongly focused on God, this year I’ve built a much stronger relationship with him and have these urges of a complete change and surrender everything.
I think that the women who wants to protect themselves from men by wearing wraps, as stated in 3:05, is to preserve their purity from men who like to charm and run after women.
Hey my Queen I also watched that rastafari video last year.. And she had long locs she showed the scalp she showed how each loc was a different shape to the white man and she was so eager to take that headscarf willingly.... I thought I was being dramatic I also don't understand why my people still behave like that around white people
so today i read over the verse in corinthians 11:2- 16 if we are praying cover, prophecying cover - the hair is given as a cover.................. so i hope this is from the Holy Spirit since im still on a journey .... but i thinking we can uncover when our hair grows enough to rest on our shoulders? or long enough to be identified as a woman these days ? so buttttttttttttttttttttttt i would think im talking to the Lord alot even in the streets - so praying all the time meaning wear the cover all the time . it says (uncovered head is the same as shaving the head ) verse 6 - so if a woman's head is not covered , her HAIR should be cut off. (so even with hair its covered) but that's a disgrace so her head should be covered. conclusion ----- just wear the thing i guess :D verse 5 since that is one and the same as having her head shaved.
Yes I try to be mindful of this especially because I get very uncomfortable when men look at me too long. Strangely this never bothered me when I was younger
4:09 there is more to it than that, please feel free to do the research and read what is stated in the Quran regarding the veil, otherwise know as the 🧕 hijab. Much Love to Everyone
My father is a very extremist Christian and he recently told me that he firmly believes that most of a women's beauty is in her hair and that without long hair a women is ugly and that she will not marry and therefore most "real men" will seek out a women with long healthy hair because they find it sexually gratifying. An that those reasons are why married women should keep their hair covered. I personally do not agree and I think his ideas are really misogynistic. But I also know that there are a lot of people who agree with his beliefs.
And if I’m being completely honest…my man doesn’t like it when my head isn’t covered either. He doesn’t say it straight out but drops words here and there when I wear it out. I think he sees it as something that’s intimate and should be just for him. Also, he’s my protector so it’s natural for him to feel uneasy if he sees that i am vulnerable.
* Where the problem usually begins… (I) If we follow those who subscribe to the doctrine of women wearing veils then it can be argued that the most often cited verse in this teaching is 1st Corinth. 11:5, which states: “But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.” According to those who believe women ought to wear veils this verse implies that a woman’s uncovered head is someone who does not wear a veil, is wrong for failing to wear it and assumes that such a person already has long hair. Therefore, the conclusion is that it must be referring to an “additional” covering. Another conclusion is that if a woman ought to be covered only when praying and prophesying then it would seem as though it is something that can be taken on or off like a veil. A typical question from those who are against hair being “the covering” is usually something like this: “If a woman ONLY needs to cover during prophecy or prayer, then how can a woman take off her hair and then put it back on?” The logical response to this is: Where did you read the word: "Only?" Such a person assumes the Bible refers to an “exclusive condition” instead of viewing it as simply two examples being given. IF YOU TRULY BELIEVE IN THIS “EXCLUSIVITY INTERPRETATION” then an UNVEILED woman should be fine if they speak in tongues, interpret tongues, heal the sick, cast out devils, etc., right? As long as the woman is NOT praying or prophesying, then she need not wear a veil, right? If your answer is NO, then you admit that there are likely more instances where it would not look right and do not truly believe that ONLY under praying or prophesying does a woman need to be covered; thereby making the argument that the covering is removable based on two conditions, moot. So what can we say about this? Just that Paul is giving us a couple of examples of how doing something holy does not look right if she is uncovered, in other words not covered in hair. The question is: Is he really referring to the lack of a veil or the lack of hair meaning not having long hair? Also, please keep in mind that the word “veil” is not actually mentioned here, neither anything that IMPLICITLY states that the covering is something can be placed on or taken off. Here’s something to consider: imagine a woman with long flowing hair praying and prophesying without a veil. Would the lack of a veil really equate to someone as if they were shaven? Why would anyone come to this conclusion? It would seem a bit odd that a woman with long hair who is not wearing a veil should somehow be equated to being shaved. This is most certainly an odd thought pattern if we accept the veil interpretation. But it does fit the narrative of those who understand the word “uncovered” to mean “not covered in long hair” or simply put, “short hair.” Looking at a woman with short hair one can easily say that she might as well be shaved. So be honest, doesn’t it make more sense that when they refer to an uncovered woman they are referring to a woman with short hair? Wouldn’t that be MORE closely relatable to being shaven than to someone who has long hair but not wearing a veil being equated to someone shaved? To put it in another way it is not a big leap to make the correlation between short hair to being shaven, unlike being asked to make a GIGANTIC LEAP OF LOGIC that an unveiled woman (even with long flowing hair) is somehow equal to being shaved. Think about it. * Is the Covering Long Hair or a Veil? ….. (II) If we examine all the verses from verse 4 to 15 without bias we should at least conclude that the passages have something to do with the physical heads of both men and women. The question we should ask is: When they refer to “covered,” “cover,” “uncovered” and “covering” are they referring to hair that covers the head or some kind of veil? Some will even say both, but if we carefully examine verse 15 it would seem that we would be getting a clearer picture of what was being referred to in the earlier verses when it mentions the words, “covered,” “cover” and “uncovered." “But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her FOR a covering." If the covering is long hair then the words “covered” or “cover” which are synonymous to “covering,” should be understood as long hair as well. Then it makes sense when it says that it is shameful or dishonorable for a man to pray or prophesy with his head “covered” because they are referring to long hair. Now logically speaking wouldn’t being “uncovered” or “not covered” then mean short hair? Therefore, if to be covered refers to “long hair” then the opposite should be true, in that to be “uncovered” should be understood as having “short” hair. This is not complicated at all to understand it is basic logic. * You Should Naturally Know Right From Wrong by Just Looking…. (III) If these verses do not move you yet then here’s one that should definitely blow your mind. Paul asks you to make a judgment call in verse 13 as if one should naturally see a problem because he asks you to: "Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?" If “covering” really meant a veil then one would have to explain why anyone would possibly come up with a judgment that a woman praying or prophesying WITHOUT A FABRIC VEIL ON THEIR HEAD WOULD LOGICALLY OR NATURALLY LOOK WRONG? Someone needs to explain this logically. Be honest, does looking at someone doing this naturally create a thought that a veil is missing? I have never seen or heard anyone say: "What a shame she is not wearing a veil on her head” after looking at a woman with long hair while praying or prophesying, that would be ludicrous. There is no NATURAL or NORMAL reasoning to make such a judgment. But if the word “uncovered” were to mean "short hair." then it would make logical sense. Because if I see a woman who has a manly haircut doing these holy things like we read in verse 5, then I can naturally judge that something doesn’t look right. Also, the very next verse continues this line of thinking that things should be obvious to understand by mere observation in nature. "Doth not even NATURE itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him." 1st Corinthians 11:14 Note that verses 13 and 14 are two consecutive questions both of which asks you to NATURALLY ASSUME that there something wrong by SEEING a woman’s head to be uncovered (meaning having short hair) and a man having long hair (meaning being covered). I would like to also add that it is NOT jumping from a “veil” in 13 and then suddenly to “hair” in 14 like some would like to suggest, because you will note that verse 15 refers back again to the woman which FLAT OUT STATES the “covering” to mean “long hair.” Therefore there is NO EXCUSE to not understand the previous verses. By this simple understanding we can then understand the part where it states that it is shameful or dishonoring for a man to pray or prophesy with his head covered, meaning covered in long hair, like in verses 4:
“Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.” This “dishonoring” of the head fits perfectly with verse 14 where it mentions that it is “shameful“ for a man to have long hair, therefore the topic is the same throughout the verses in that the head covered in this verse refers to “long hair. ” I should also add that these verses in NO WAY imply that the covering on the man can be placed on or taken off, like some like to argue. It’s SIMPLY SAYING that it is a dishonor if a man prays or prophesies in LONG HAIR. The same should be understood in verse 7: “For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.” Again, they are NOT implying something that can be put on or taken off but that the man should not cover his head (with long hair) and the reason because he is the image and glory of God. This same idea should be included in the verses that refer to women like in verse 6: “For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.” This verse is often misinterpreted like verse 5 when it’s simply mentioning in the same tone as the previous verse that if a woman has short hair then let her head be shaved BUT if it is a shame to be shaven let her be covered in long hair. It’s really not complicated once you understand what it means to be covered or uncovered. Everything else starts to make sense when you read the other verses knowing that they are referring to hair. I can only imagine how lost one must be when they are stuck on one or two verses that to them seems questionable but not take into consideration all the other verses that point to the “covering” as long hair and “uncovered” to mean short hair. Therefore, given all this logic and proof, how can one conclude that they are referring to a hat, bonnet or veil? Again, how can one have logical judgments or conclusions that by merely looking at a long-haired woman performing such holy acts without a veil that one would automatically assume that there is something off? It makes no logical sense. So before anyone gets riled up why not first try to EXPLAIN 1st Corinthians 11:13 because I suspect most people will simply ignore it. In short, therefore, the whole veil doctrine is wrong, it cannot be substantiated and should be rejected. (originally posted by FA)

Come sisters, in Son of man is life, living in flesh is death, we must be born again from the Spirit, die to all fleshly desires. Be blessed you all. HalleluYah.

While my knowledge of Islam is very limited. I think the reason for Muslim women wearing their head coverings & face coverings has more to do with keeping of very strict traditional guidelines where it is believed that the woman’s body is very sacred and must be entirely covered when in public. Doing otherwise would be completely against the “traditional Norm” and would open the door for scrutiny, criticisms, and even punishment if the woman in question was married, because she could be seen as a harlot. Yes in places where certain Muslim groups have always inhabited, still exist these rules. Here in the west they are referred to as extreme and the enforcers as extremists. This is probably the “fear” that these women speak of. It’s probably not being rapped or sexually assaulted, but being whipped in public for violating what in their consciousness are some of the most fundamental, subtle, and silent laws that exist in their tradition
How to Protect Your Edges While Wearing Head Covering - ua-cam.com/video/dLALTiQDOXw/v-deo.html
I’ve just learned that religious Jewish woman cover their hair when they get married. They cover it fir everyone except their husband.
That’s beautiful! All the best on your life and pregnancy journey 💛💛💛
I am white European and Italian... but I am having a overwhelming urge to cover my hair and also not eat meat. I'm very hesitant for many reasons but the older I get the more intense feelings that I need to cover my head.... can I have anyones thoughts on this
Do it
Italy's are the most racist country on earth.
Other reasons:
- general modesty only in some parts of Europe.
Isė
Your perspective is appreciated 🙏🏿💛✨
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate you giving us this insight 💛✨🙏🏿
Thank you for this explanation.😊
I’ve only heard women say they wear hijab as a choice, I’ve never heard anyone explain it having anything to do with men. I guess the context has always been that Muslim women are oppressed and forced to dress modestly including covering their heads. So the women are saying no, they’re not forced, it’s a choice, and they like it.
We cover our hair:
1. Against bad energies.
2. Against the environmental hazards ( wind, sun, winter, rain etc.)
My thoughts 💭 precisely.
@@darkfeminineconsciousness thats the name we use in South Africa too
We are sun people.
I wear my headwraps for the same exact reason as you.. that energy from ppl staring at my locs; it’s just so unnerving
Wow yes…you are a perfect example. Stay protected
Thank you for posting this. My reason I want to cover my hair is to protect my full self. Especially when I practice and this video let me see the unity
✨💛
I have been wearing head coverings 90% of the time for over a year now, primarily because of alopecia.
Your headwrap is on fleek👌
Hey dear, white european here, not religious and never will be religious by my own free will.
I sometimes cover my head (or crown chakra if you feel like looking at it through that line of thought) to "protect my own inner peace".
I tend to be very sensitive, means i pick up a lot of emotional/mental projections without being as good at fully elaborating those and regardless of choosing to do so, and so i often end up being in sensory overload (it's like being in emotional and psychological labour, doing the work with information that most times isn't even mine,
In other words i tend to have a "channeling and alchemising" kinda urge that can be as strong as coming at the detriment of prioritizing my own personal needs and well-being).
I'm so happy I found your video. I'm looking for more head wraps and even something to cover my body. I feel I should during this awakening
Our scalps need air and water. I believe in leaving my head uncovered unless I'm at work, a place of worship or around certain people.
Drinking water is all your scalp really requires. Hair covers made of satin or silk actually keep hair moisturized. I wear one to sleep and my hair feels like velvet in the mornings.
I need a tutorial on how you did this wrap.
Ok sis…I gotchu
Yes please
Thank you for sharing this 💓 I’m Christian. ✝️ The reason I wear head coverings is due to spiritual reasons, relationship and respect for the Lord. I’m also spiritually more sensitive, intuitive, and connected to God with my head cover on. Head coverings are powerful. 1 Corinthians 11:10 🕊️
I just came from a lecture of this Christian dude (I'm not even Christian idk why I was listening to it) but he was making a biblical case on why head coverings should be used and everyone was eating each other alive in the comments 😭
Absolutely very interesting throughout respectively
I enjoyed listening thank you for sharing ❤ sometimes I wear head coverings sometimes I don’t.
Thank you!
Thank you 🙏🏼
Men supposed to lower their gaze ( in Islam) instead of trying to victim blame women God made your hair men need to control their self and behaviors period!
Thank you for sharing your video with us i have really enjoyed your video and found it very helpful useful and very meaningful
Wow!!! I wear hat a work daily for this reason ☺️☺️☺️..eyes and vibes .(protection)
Helps protect with spiritual attack when asleep I have found.
Oh really? I have never thought about that but that is interesting because black people are known for covering their heads to sleep. For vanity yes but still there might be a connection

I love wrapping my hair i stop showing my losc at wrk to toxic environment
My family hated that I cover my locs but me and my husband embraced my hair covered
Yes protection from men to prevent unwanted attention. I find men respect me more. More door opening, more excuse me Ms. etc etc

thank u so much for this video. really needed. much love!
I’m not sure what UA-cam videos you are watching but as a Muslim woman we DONT wear hijab for men it’s for Allah
Awaiting next vid!
I started over two years ago maybe more I worked for the federal government at the time and people whom I work with didn't know how to take me. Now I moved to SC people LOOK real hard at me not sure what to make of it. I love head wraps I real protected as well. My husband loves it but he is African.

The 'covering' is the hair itself. I post on this a lot
with scriptures from the Old and New Testament.
Reply if desired.
Peace and happiness 💛
Although im not Muslim I do overstand the hijab as I've had friends who are Muslim.
@@darkfeminineconsciousness Do they carry some type of membership documents to prove their eligibility for this exemption?
Where in Jamaica do you find other people with Christ consciousness?

We do it for ALLAH obeying the command of God (Allah)makes us happy Everytime we wear hijab
We wear an AYAH of QURAN.
Allah himself has given the instructions to do such things in the HOLY QURAN (Surah AN NOOR Verse 31)
(Surah AL AHZAB Verse 59)
In the Qur'an,not Just women but men too have been given instructions (Surah AN NOOR Verse 30)of keeping their eyes low, dress up modesty & respect women.
She only took it down to show on the video so I get why she did it and also to give a bit of knowledge to share knowledge could be another reason why she felt led to do it
You missed my point. It's not about the video. What's educational about our hair?
Anyone notice how Jamaican and Irish accents sound so similar? Or, at least I think she's Jamaican. Sounds like it.
You think so? I guess there were melanated people in Ireland too
Protection from the male gaze and being objectified for hair, breasts, hips, etc.
Exactly, my sentiments..
Shalum 🤗
I understand. Especially if you’re spiritually is deeply linked to your hair.
1. it Stops her from flirting with men.
A. Hair flips
B. when a woman lifts her hand it can be recognized as a HELLO to men and Nephilm.
C. when a woman lifts her hand towards her head it lifts the breast and she naturally turns in the direction of male.

Do what feels good and comfortable for you. I’ve seen some ready done head wraps so maybe you can try those for now and feel your way to what you like
I think that the women who wants to protect themselves from men by wearing wraps, as stated in 3:05, is to preserve their purity from men who like to charm and run after women.
Hey my Queen I also watched that rastafari video last year.. And she had long locs she showed the scalp she showed how each loc was a different shape to the white man and she was so eager to take that headscarf willingly.... I thought I was being dramatic I also don't understand why my people still behave like that around white people
ACTUALLY BROTHER JENNINGS IS CORRECT. THE BIBLE TEACHES US THESE TRUTH'S. 👍🏾
so today i read over the verse in corinthians 11:2- 16
if we are praying cover, prophecying cover - the hair is given as a cover.................. so i hope this is from the Holy Spirit since im still on a journey .... but
i thinking we can uncover when our hair grows enough to rest on our shoulders? or long enough to be identified as a woman these days ? so
buttttttttttttttttttttttt
i would think im talking to the Lord alot even in the streets -
so praying all the time meaning wear the cover all the time .
it says (uncovered head is the same as shaving the head )
verse 6 - so if a woman's head is not covered , her HAIR should be cut off. (so even with hair its covered)
but that's a disgrace so her head should be covered.
conclusion ----- just wear the thing i guess :D verse 5
since that is one and the same as having her head shaved.
Yes I agree…just cover it. Or keep a covering close…wear it with your dress so you can pull it over at any moment.
Blessed love my youth
‘ denada’ madria omega I Jah Rastafari Mon25iwah
The white man must give Har a 5 bills fi record Har hair 😂😂
Can’t believe I just found you
Dress modest and head covering but that goes for covering our body. Not showing too much
Yes I try to be mindful of this especially because I get very uncomfortable when men look at me too long.
Yes men do have a thing with hair but that seems a bit extreme. Men are attracted to a lot more than hair
* Where the problem usually begins… (I)
If we follow those who subscribe to the doctrine of women wearing veils then it can be argued that the most often cited verse in this teaching is 1st Corinth. 11:5, which states:
“But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.”
According to those who believe women ought to wear veils this verse implies that a woman’s uncovered head is someone who does not wear a veil, is wrong for failing to wear it and assumes that such a person already has long hair.
….. (II)
If we examine all the verses from verse 4 to 15 without bias we should at least conclude that the passages have something to do with the physical heads of both men and women. The question we should ask is: When they refer to “covered,” “cover,” “uncovered” and “covering” are they referring to hair that covers the head or some kind of veil? Some will even say both, but if we carefully examine verse 15 it would seem that we would be getting a clearer picture of what was being referred to in the earlier verses when it mentions the words, “covered,” “cover” and “uncovered."
“But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her FOR a covering."
If the covering is long hair then the words “covered” or “cover” which are synonymous to “covering,” should be understood as long hair as well.
(III)
If these verses do not move you yet then here’s one that should definitely blow your mind. Paul asks you to make a judgment call in verse 13 as if one should naturally see a problem because he asks you to:
"Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?"
If “covering” really meant a veil then one would have to explain why anyone would possibly come up with a judgment that a woman praying or prophesying WITHOUT A FABRIC VEIL ON THEIR HEAD WOULD LOGICALLY OR NATURALLY LOOK WRONG?
"Doth not even NATURE itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him." 1st Corinthians 11:14
Note that verses 13 and 14 are two consecutive questions both of which asks you to NATURALLY ASSUME that there something wrong by SEEING a woman’s head to be uncovered (meaning having short hair) and a man having long hair (meaning being covered).
“Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.”
This “dishonoring” of the head fits perfectly with verse 14 where it mentions that it is “shameful“ for a man to have long hair, therefore the topic is the same throughout the verses in that the head covered in this verse refers to “long hair. ”
I should also add that these verses in NO WAY imply that the covering on the man can be placed on or taken off, like some like to argue. It’s SIMPLY SAYING that it is a dishonor if a man prays or prophesies in LONG HAIR. The same should be understood in verse 7:
“For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.”
Again, they are NOT implying something that can be put on or taken off but that the man should not cover his head (with long hair) and the reason because he is the image and glory of God. This same idea should be included in the verses that refer to women like in verse 6:
“For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.”
This verse is often misinterpreted like verse 5 when it’s simply mentioning in the same tone as the previous verse that if a woman has short hair then let her head be shaved BUT if it is a shame to be shaven let her be covered in long hair.

It’s probably not being rapped or sexually assaulted, but being whipped in public for violating what in their consciousness are some of the most fundamental, subtle, and silent laws that exist in their tradition
i got more respect for African women cover than Islamic force covering and got no freedom to expose their hair that needs breathing
