It’ll be nice to persevere that car and make it back to your original goal street / show car. Anything you put into the hood is gonna be sick . You guys do amazing work.
Me, my son and my best friend got to see Warbird at the show in Indianapolis! Absolute beast!!! Thanks for sending it over and letting us enjoy your hard work!
Can't Thank you mate's enough for letting us enjoy war bird, killer bee and yours us Americans love your no holes barred approach. Love how cars have full interiors and are finished down under. Some of the nicest cars i have ever seen
I say burnout car, same engine as the Warbird, and engineer the car for a engine setback for better performance. I want to thank you again for allowing Cleetus to run Warbird over here. We appreciate it mate.
Thank you so much for allowing warbird perform in the United States while you are not able to come. That's got to be one of the most well-built cars ever made with that kind of power. Besides that it's freaking beautiful. Thrift shop is as impressive as they get. 👍👍👍
REAL DEAL Definitely a cruiser!! Such a classy little car. I would hate to see any wall taps. LOVING THE CONTENT !! WARBIRD WAS ABSOLUTELY INSANE TO WATCH !! THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING THE KEYS !! Looking forward to seeing #REALDEAL and the direction you choose.
Can't wait to see you guys at the Freedom Factory and I'd love to see you squeeze that V10 twin turbo in that car... although you got Cleetus to put a car together like you, why not drop a Twin Turbo LS427 down in it like he runs in Leroy
Blower ls combo. I want to see how it should be done. Thanks to you and the people that work with you for having warlord over here for us to enjoy. Mad props man, I couldn't imagine being separated from my car for that long. But if it had to be somewhere it would be with cleetus
I’d love to see it as a Castlemaine rod shop street show spec car. Engine trim, the works done! It’s your pride and enjoy, make it something awesome but usable again for you to enjoy!
Hot damn you guys build some amazing rides! Love it! Thanks for sharing! I'd love to see that as a complete show ride with bags! That's a sexy machine!
Hell Yeah ! That Dodge V10 with the twin turbos would look sick stuffed in there. As you said this car has a ton of sentimental value to you, so I feel like you should be able to cruise around and enjoy it as a show car. It'd be a beautiful show car with the crazy V10 hidden under the hood.
Glad it made it home safe! As for the engine, you sorted an engine for cletus now let him sort one for you. Twin turbo LSX! 2000hp street/strip car! (Mullet engine) keep up the great work
nice man . I'd keep it as a cruiser n show , with a bit of power . be hard to find another one . easy to pick up a more common cheap shell for burnouts or drags .
Dump it back on Bags and drop a nuts turbo 6 in it of your likening, drive it, drag it for fun, cruse it and love it, smiles per miles! Whatever you decide ill still watch the build!
I think it really needs to stay blown!! It is just such an iconic look on that car! Like the blown LS idea. Maybe a street/strip drag week ( I am in the US) type of build. Look forward to seeing what ever you decide to do with it! You folks build awesome rides!
@@StarlightWorkshop0z I agree with you in your statement, I was saying drop the auto for a 4 speed manual, awesome for a cruise and still be able to drop it in a few burnout comps for the “fun” side of the car. But still been able to drive it on the street would be the cream on the cake
I think it would be awesome to see you make that car into a drag car at the same time as Cleetus making toast into a aussie powered burnout car! Maybe as an idea cleetus can ship a US drag car engine out to you so you can both experience a change you aren't used to! A bit of a long shot with shipping but I still think it would be a cool concept!
Time for a home & home as they say here in the states. A Rod Shop heart is in Toast. Cleeter needs to send a Bald Eagle Spec Texas Speed 427 for you to drop in it and I agree, come back to the states and do Drag Week with it. Would love to see that. Cheers and glad things are starting to normalize for you in Oz. We got to see Warbird at the Freedom Factory and man, what a car. Thanks for sharing it with us!
A lot have said that making it into a burnout car was sacrilege as it is a classic. Restoring it tastefully to road use and something nice under the bonnet is what I would do. On another note, I’m loving my Wilwood front and rear brakes and thank you for the amazing service during the sale.
V12 LS. Aussie designed and manufactured. The block is only 12 kg heavier than a standard LS. Add maybe another 30 kg for the top end and rotating assembly. Crazy potential for power and torque but turnkey smooth and street friendly. Or put 6 x 45mm DCOE Webers on a Cross-Ram manifold as a nod to the Real Deal’s heritage. It would make and awesome platform for a Show Car, Drag Week, or Burnouts - you would have all the options open.
Ne subscriber here, Cleetus follower....Very nice looking rod. Given the fact its your pride and joy, the best solution to go is pro touring, build a 7-8 second street car, nothing to radical... then you can have the best of all worlds, it will handle nicely for cruising in street trim and easily converted for a day at the track if you want. Less wear and tear, more enjoyable to drive, less chance of twisting, front end and body damage. It will do everything you want but less of a handful to control. Anything built for the ragged edge is costly, very noisy uncorked, it will require constant teardowns maintenance and most likely will run high temps. Only meant for short run time.
the key factor is you should DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO with the car. its your car so you should choose. What makes you happiest? cruising? Drags? Burnouts? Park it in your lounge room? do the show circuit?
I know I'm late to this party, but man that twin turbo v10 sounds freaking awesome, definitely gets my vote. Also the car is just beautiful all around so a street car to bomb around in would be really cool.. your be snapping necks everywhere you go!
My vote, is Strip/Street. Do a smaller LS build on pump gas. It would still look great, be street drivable, and easy to maintain. So you would drive it more, since it's your pride and joy!
Like several others have mentioned. LSA / LS9 based engine and supercharger. Street cruiser. Maybe put a a Kong 2650 on it. It will still make blower noises. Always loved this car and the bare metal finish!
Since it's your first car I would make it back into a cruiser. Put the air ride back in and keep a nice street able blown show piece motor. It will represent you and your shop wherever you go!
I think it would be pretty cool to see it as a street car, you will get way more use out of it. My suggestion would be a V8 Holden-based, Torque Power “Little Paw” Engine with as many cubic inches that it can go.
Go petina with a cammed 308 and a top loader. Bring back the feel of an old torana and memories for you. The extra power and sound will be perfect for a street car. Nothing too outrageous, but something you feel comfortable to drive to the next picnic at hanging rock. But if you have to go outrageous, a modern corvette motor will do well.
I think that since you have had it a very long time and it means so much to you that you and only you should build it exactly how you like but a cruiser is an awesome idea and the double turbos is also a awesome idea CHEERS
I like the under Bonnet, super low, bagged look. The car is super understated with the bare metal finish and I think a super clean low look would be great. LS with twins are pro charger would be cool. I think a setup that will allow heaps of cruising and getting the car out to see the people.
Good to see it back in AUSTRALIA! Too bad we couldn’t see it in America when it was here. Piss everyone off and put the new Ford Godzilla 7.3 with the Harrop blower on it, make a great all around car
Hey guys, firstly, I like the way Cleetus is treating Warbird with a lot of respect, everytime I see Warbird on Cleetus' channel, i feel proud to be an Aussie !! I think guys with Real Deal, he would do 8'sc every day with a nice 400 cu Chevy block, with a couple of Turbos that spool quick off the line..?? just saying, Real Deall already has the power to weight thing going on, keep those front wheels on the ground, she will win every day !! r
Texas Speed 427 LS, resting behind the front axle, twin turbo's(down low, beside eng.), powerglide! Proven gear, into a light, wicked little drag strip monster, that can also burnout comp with the top dogs!!!
Definitely go with twin turbo V10 makes it look stock but will blow everyone's mind when you smoke the tires off the back of that thing. Hope you can make it to the US soon and show cleeter a thing or two.
Y'all do lot's of burnout / skid car's and they are without a doubt 1000% first class awesome machines to watch perform but I think a lot of people would love to see y'all go do some drag racing. Of course it has to be a turbo set-up that's as crazy as the monster blower set-ups y'all build. I'd love to see a V10 built to the max with a set of massive turbos tucked up under the hood. Or out of it LOL. One thing is for certain though. Which ever route y'all decide to go with the car it's without a doubt gonna be awesome either way and everyone will watch the bald eagle's and freedom fly as your holding the pedal to the floor.
The truth. We all want to see you reunite with Warbird at the Freedom Factory.
I like the rod shop to make a show car for summer national with a Holden engendered car
Warbird is on way the way back home!!
Cruiser/drag with v10 glad it’s back home safe
Toast loves the new power plant. Thank you for helping bring skids to the UNITED STATES! We love ya
would love to see this as a street drag car and go over and do drag week with @CleetusMcfarlend
It’ll be nice to persevere that car and make it back to your original goal street / show car. Anything you put into the hood is gonna be sick . You guys do amazing work.
V10 drag car be different
DO THE UNDER THE HOOD STREET/STRIP V10 TWIN TURBO.

Great to see it back, Show/Drag would be my choice & the turbo V10 sounds awesome
Agreed. Something very different. But only if you don't have to cut it up to fit it in.
Go the dodge v10 twin turbo setup
Your a really nice guy to let someone else pull your motor to put in their car. What a friend. That’s really awesome of you.
First car you had! Go to the way you first thought it would be! Nostalgia man all the way! It’ll be sick as no matter what you do!
Twin turbo simple everyday street car as it's your pride and joy 💯
Go with something unique - the V10 or something like that sounds awesome and use for a show / cruiser
But you got to think will it fit that's the question
He struggled with an 8.. a 12 will take some serious fab work, I feel like it wouldn't be worth it..
@@JacobFlakelar69 It may not, but for a show car, if they did something unique that would be a definite drawcard
Drag race. Fun to watch, fun to do, and you'll have endless content between breaking and trying to go faster
The V10 dual turbos looked cool if it will now fit!
So awesome to see the car that toast's new engine came from. Can't wait to see what's next for this! This would make an awesome cruiser, so sick!
I've got no idea. I do know I'm subscribed to you because of Cleetus lol.

Haha! When he played the clip of the burnout I could swear I smelled the smoke. 🤣
would love a high revving 9k+ N/A V8 build

Average Friday night with the boys Doing Burnout in Australia. Plenty of sick skid cars here.
Would be awesome to put in a Texas speed 427 like Cletus runs in the drag cars and go drag racing basically an international engine swap

Viper V10 TT holy hell that would be awesome!!

LS1 (alloy block) mildly built with a low mount 6/71 blower kit & twin carbs.... 650-700 hp deal on BP98 & low boost..... Street & Strip 👌🏼🏁
Going to have to vote for Twin Turbo V10, something unique that wont put your car at risk
What a beauty and the car's not bad either. Mate I dunno you had me at the V10 Twin Turbo tbh, cruiser/sleeper she'd be sweet I reckon.
