    I am so proud of Target for putting so many cups on the shelf!!

      It's totally a Target thing to do. Hoping this leads to more awareness about cups and more cups at other stores.

    These cups are too small, and Cora's customer service appears to be lacking. Hard pass, but thank you for buying the product and reviewing it for us. This channel is definitely a public service.

      i agree with customer service issues, however, since this video, they have increased their size 2 to a 29Ml and the size 1 to a 22ml

    I was very curious about the Cora cup. The shape of it to me is a bit unique. However I feel like it's definitely offputting to me that the company didn't reply to you and when they finally did it wasn't really beneficial.

    • @PutACupInIt
      @PutACupInIt  5 років тому +22

      It's definitely been a frustrating experience. Knowing how many people rely on PACII as a resource made it doubly so. It's not about ego, it's about providing people with the information they need and are looking for to pick a menstrual cup. While I'd like to say it's because they're a big company, other large companies have been completely responsive to us (Tampax, for example) and see the value in what we do.

      I can say contacting Cora is problematic. I had an issue with the website and never got a reply so I wouldn't recommend ordering on the website if needed.

      I love how humble you two are! However it's clear you are extremely influential to the cup community so it was definitely a bad move on their part for not stepping up their game at least for you guys. 😂 I mean if they won't reply to you in a timely manner what would give us "regular" consumers hope. Not to mention the fact that with cups there is no one size fits all and it can be very frustrating and expensive if you buy from a company with poor return policies and customer service. Really hoping they fix this issue. Thank you two for spending your own money to do this review for us and keep up the great work! 💗

    They lost my potential custom when you said they didn't reply to you guys, both times. If companies like Saalt & Lunette can give such excellent Cs, why would anyone buy a cup from a company who appear not to care. Thanks for the review though, great as ever.

    I tried this cup out as a first time user and I will admit it was a great introduction into the "cup world" I learned how to fully use it after my third cycle however the first and second cycle were horrible. So much leakage and if I sneezed or laughed too hard I would lose suction and more leakage. Cups are way too small and the silicone is not as soft as they display it to be. Every time I insert it I always felt the need to pee. After extensive research seems like the Saalt cup regular "soft" will be my next go to.

    I just bought the smaller Cora today. I have a light cycle. I had the lunette many years ago and I don't remember what problems I had with it. This Cora went in like a champ the first time. But I can definitely feel it like you would a tampon. Not painful but definitely there. Does that mean it doesn't fit right? Is it just not up far enough? It seems like it's sitting low.

    The FAQ on their web page gives capacities of 21ml for Size 1 and 28ml for Size 2 (so, I'm guessing that is to the rim).
    The Amazon sale page offers a picture showing the dimensions. The picture changes depending on which size you select.
    Size 1: 42mm diameter, 46mm cup length, 20mm stem length
    Size 2: 46mm diameter, 51mm cup length, 15mm stem length
    The vegan leather pouch is what you get if you buy the cup from the Cora Cup web site for $39.
    If you buy it from Amazon or Target for $30 you get the drawstring bag.

    Found Cora cup, Ziggy cup and Diva cup at CVS. I like the Cora, it’s soft, but the smaller capacity makes me somewhat worried. But the comfort may out way having to dump it more often. I always trim the stems too, I see no point to them 😆

    Hey, looking for some advice/answer
    I have just started using a cup, the one I got is called facelle.
    But it sits quite high up. I have to really reach to get to the stem. Is that normal? Should I get a longer cup?
    It's also very hard for it to open, it takes a lot of work for it to pop open. Will a longer and different shape help with that too?
    Please Help!

    I had been doing my own research into cups and really thought I had settled on the Cora cup. I had not made the purchase just yet but thought I would look to see if you ladies had done a review and all I can say is the lack of contact and communication from the company is really a turn off for me as well. Think I may do a bit more research myself before making the plunge. Thank you ladies.

    This review just made me question if I need to look for a softer cup or just one with a more narrow base. I have both the regular Lena and the Lena Sensitive but they both cause too much pressure. Would a cup like this with a more narrow bottom be worth a shot even though it has a firm rim? Or should I look for something that is all around more less firm?
    Thanks!

    How about cup from wish or joom app? And how to clean it properly. Thanks.

    • @PutACupInIt
      @PutACupInIt  5 років тому +4

      Haven't heard of Joom but anything from wish would land in our "do not recommend" list. Brand names with trusted FDA cleared silicone wouldn't be sold there so whatever you're getting is a gamble. It may be more expensive but even a $40 will recoup your investment longterm so it's not worth trying a cheap cup to start and the risk involved with those cups. We too often hear they arrive smelling of chemicals and they're also usually quite flimsy and thin, leading to a bad user experience.

    ok so this isn’t super relevant but I need help haha. I bought the Vida cup (a rip off I know but it had like 500 good reviews). I bought the larger size because I didn’t realize that it came in different sizes 🤦🏻‍♀️ I do have a super heavy flow on the first and second day though. Anyway, it’s giving me the worst cramps that are so awful that I’ve just ended up taking it out and switch to a tampon. Is the cup to big? Am I just not used to it yet? What do I do?

    • @PutACupInIt
      @PutACupInIt  5 років тому

      It could be the size but I'm more curious to know if the cup feels rather firm or springy. A firm cup can feel not so good if you're sensitive to it and/or if it's too big especially

      i know you commented this four months ago and probably have your answer, but i've never heard or seen anyone saying that? i transitioned from pads to a cup without ever having had sex and haven't had a problem adjusting to them whatsoever. i suppose the only "issue" people would come into is their personal comfort with inserting items into their vagina, but there isnt a physical limitation there.

    • @PutACupInIt
      @PutACupInIt  5 років тому

      A cup can still hold at least 2x more than a super tampon so I'd guess a regular cup would give you 4-6 hours before needing to empty (just a guess) but there are cups with higher capacity. putacupinit.com/high-capacity-menstrual-cups/

      @PutACupInIt  5 років тому +1

      Neither is that method. There is not accurate way to measure firmness, Every method is flawed and doesn't showcase how a cup acts within a vaginal canal as a whole shape.

    • @tk7519
      @tk7519 4 роки тому

      @@PutACupInIt your method is more inaccurate, putting cups together definitely gives an accurate comparison. As long as the absolute value (not 'relative') of firmness is concerned, as an engineer I know there are methods to measure firmness of any material, companies just don't care to go to that extent.
