    Fear and pleasure are linked. Pleasure is something I’ve been watching in myself and see in our society is run off pleasure and fear.
    One day I’d come to see my wanting to see the sunset every day had become a pleasure no different than the man fulfilling his desire of list or greed.
    I have come to see without order I cannot truly even know what real meditation is.
    Everyday I am learning from myself.

    Sometimes the quickest reactions can lead to much pain and suffering. I was once over 20 feet up in a tree when the branch I was on started to crack under my feet. Then I saw the only branch that I could easily reach. But before lunging towards this branch my eyes focused on the decay where the branch attached to the trunk of this tree. Had I jumped to that branch I would've fallen 20 plus feet to the ground. Instead I did what I never thought I could do. I bear-hugged the trunk and scooted down to the next integral branch, then made my way down out of this tree.
    Personally I think it's vital for me to remain calm even in the face of eminent danger. That way I can not only see more clearly a safe path out I can as well assess whether my path out of this or that danger is going to lead to a worse outcome than another path may offer.

    Currently I am experiencing fear that my elderly mother is in hospital following a fall with a fractured hip.

    Love is a universal truth
    It can not be explained
    Or conceptualized
    It can only be expressed
    We are expressions of love and fear
    An endless dance of energy
    The push and the pull of humanity
    Here to experience duality
    A lesson in our mortality
    There is no right or wrong
    Love can not exist without fear
    And fear is simply the lack of love
    An enless dance of contrast
    And always a lesson to be learned
    We are the human experience
    Simply here to exist
    To feel, smell, and touch
    To love, fear, and hate
    To be born, live... and die
    Its all by design
    We are in Gods mind

    I don't fear death but do fear the way I die. But that is a irrational fear coming from the mind. I know this fear of suffering takes me away from the present moment, makes me suffer unnecessarily so I working on being totally present. I do know that others fear death more than anything. I had surgery years ago and the doctor listed all the possibilities that could go wrong. Death being the worst. For me it would have been having to live with further physical problems, not dying. We are conditioned to believe death is the worst thing. But need to Realize consciously that it is a natural part of life for every sentient being.

    Absolutely loving the new videos! Something about fear now - is it always a negative element? In the past years I learned that fear has brought me so much power to change myself, even to become more creative due to some anticipation. I know I might have been anxious about something, but I have to admit that it made me have new ideas and think of different ways of dealing with problems. Maybe in this process I have reframed fear and stopped fearing it that much as well. It became kind of like a fire that shapes me into a better version of myself every time I go through that need to grow. Am I missing something about all this or could fear also be seen as a very positive thing?

    Great video. Your knowledge has been quite useful to me in daily life. By the way, I'd say that regarding the worse that could happen to a person (or at least just my two cents) is not 'death' but what could come before death like a debilitating illness (there are many) or an accident or injury etc.
    I don't particularly am afraid of death or fear that as much as those things because they could make your life real hell and could test you in ways that are unimaginable.

  • @howardcohen6817
    @howardcohen6817 4 роки тому +1

    Hi Nada! Death obviates fear of dying. I enjoy and feel driven to watch down the tunnel for the on-coming train. I've never met anyone who wasn't like this; my children were also like this, sometimes becoming impatient even angry when it hasn't yet arrived when wanted. I even enjoy when the train pulls in to the station just as I anticipate it.

    • @howardcohen6817
      @howardcohen6817 4 роки тому

      As I expend a lot of energy on anticipating things, it behooves me to learn how to enjoy this - to play with this anticipation like a game of pick-up-sticks where the stick doesn't move the others when I remove it just as I imagined or it does. Don't we enjoy this? It's not the moving or not moving of the sticks with which we are playing, but with our anticipation of this.

    • @howardcohen6817
      @howardcohen6817 4 роки тому

      This is why we spend so much energy on fearing death (as you say). Look at all the books written, philosophies thought, buildings, waterways etc. built only with the fear of death - not death itself or the knowledge of this inevitability - in mind and our fear-inducing anticipation. This is how he - many - enjoy life. We do this by simply fearing death.

    Clearly explaned, aknowledgement of what I feel. I assume that thinking the worst possible scenario is a genetic thing once needed by generations before us to 'maximise' survival (of the fittest). Maybe the fysical stronger Neandertaler 'lacked' this quality. Fears will always be in us, as we grow whe might mutate the gen for our future generations. And by being aware we can change this also. Fear will always be a healthy part in our current lives, and we are in a (kind of constant minor fear-) challenge that provides innergrowth(?). thank you for your clearance. Guy! ThankU I really appreciate how you explain things. I must offer a slight adjustment. Psychological fear may well be embedded in the body, the neurology. I need to qualify fear of death, as fear of violence. My early life was a near death experience. I've gone through life with a torpedo through the abdomen, blade through the throat, a hammer to the skull. I've sought to bury this self knowledge. Denial doesn't work. To integrate, I need to consciously remember. Remember Chicken Little

    The Ego has its own self preservation mechanisms because the last thing that ego wants to do is die.
    But in order to be resurrected in pure consciousness the ego must transform so the fear comes from the egos unwillingness to die.
    Therefore all fear stems from the soul from the ego , for it is an expression of the ego controlling the thoughts and emotions and intention of the heart and mind.
    Bc they that are not self aware are one with the ego and it controls those in that condition.

    I have a question. Your right for the most part and its something ive been working on for a long time. Its a lot of hard work. So my question is doesvit benifit us when we do pay attention to it and what the trigger was in the situation that brought upon the fear that didnt cause us to die but die in other perspectives. So to pay attention to the trigger so we dont end up in the same bad situation thats my question? Also what would you suggest I'm just trying to get another perspective on how to avoid getting overwhelmed by a fear

    • @AwakenInsight
      @AwakenInsight  4 роки тому +2

      I would say, it depends on the trigger. If it's something which is actually likely to cause you harm, then probably best to avoid it. But if it's something that frightens us that can't actually hurt us.. in those cases, avoiding the trigger can be avoiding our own healing. Even in that case, you can ease your way into it if it's too much to face all at once.

      @@AwakenInsight the harm caused the trigger but also the the trigger caused harm it happens at the same time leaving me confused and isolating myself to heal. I dont mean too but i sometimes isolate myself probably longer then i should but it also takes me longer to heal then other people. If im triggered and in the process of healing i can easy be triggered again taking more energy. I dont know but I usually want my fear or the trigger to be inaccurate but the problem is that it is accurate every time and it happens a lot. 1st John 4:18 there is no fear in love, but perfect love cast out all fear.....
    Fear exists only in the wounded ego aka sinful flesh nature.
    Fear is an indicator, If one is experiencing fear, it is bc one has not taken the time to reconcile an issue that requires attention thus giving place to fear, once the apparent issue is found and acknowledged and accepted, and permitted to run its course, then it transforms into love.
