I think the half that didnt like Thor L&T was bc they wanted less jokes, more action, and a little more serious side of the God Butcher vs Thor from the Comics. I dont expect that to be as much the case with She-Hulk bc she is more comical in the comics overall

Yeah speaking for myself I was very Luke warm on love and thunder and the reasons are 1. I think they went a bit too goofy with Thor 2. I wanted more of gorr and him to be more of a serious threat but I never felt he was going to really do any actual damage to Thor or Jane 3. The story just felt a little jumpy from scene to scene for me. Oh and the guardians stuff seems like they literally just threw them in because if they didn’t people would say “I thought they left on the ship together at the end of endgame”.
Its not just less jokes, its that the jokes weren’t funny, almost childish. If the jokes are just as bad in she-hulk than it being meant as a comedy wont save it
Having not seen it yet, I'd say people wouldn't respond to it like Thor love and Thunder because people were only mad because of everything Thor's been through just being made a joke. We don't know she hulk yet in the MCU, so this would only be our first impression, not years built up of her

I think people will still react that way because I feel like there's real marvel comedy fatigue starting to grow in the fan base. seems like every character is all jokes and nothing but jokes now. maybe I'm wrong tho
@@amekgomo5250 nah I think that's a good point though, we need to get back to the serious side that actually has us worried while we watch these movies and shows, really feel like there are stakes involved
The main point i took from this, basically something ive been thinking for a while now about Marvel, is that they are 100% catering to specific demographics with these shows. It feels each show has been a little more pointed in its attempt to draw in viewers. Honestly, nothing wrong with that because it is important to keep this franchise growing at a point when it could get very stagnant, but you really have to find a balance and not lose your main identity. I have a feeling i won't mind this show, but it probably won't be my favorite.
“Draw in viewers” how????? Like he said ms marvel “catered to specific demographics” and it was the least watched marvel shows. Take a good character and have good writing and you dont nee to cater to anyone. People will watch it. The only catering they do is for whatever news headlines they get to inspire
@@rockstarburne He pretty much said that the act of Marvel trying to cater to different demographics was more visible in each show, not that that strategy actually brought in more viewers.

I speculated that this is going to be more like those tv series like Friends where each episode is a small story on its own. Which was the reason why we haven’t seen one big main villain.

I don't care what people say or think about it, bad cgi or not, which I doubt, I'm going to watch it and enjoy it and say it's a good show just like many others. Can't wait!!

I bet at some point, they will have a court battle against each other, representing clients they both believe in. That court battle could be more interesting than the physical battles.
Thror 4 is great. people dont know what's good anymore.
It's more like, the MCU is so, so big, that every other guy watches it.
If you look at the most successful films or TV shows, they were always catered to just one or two audience, an audience who would appreciate them.
And up until, Infinity War and Endgame, Marvel used to be either too formalaic or their audience wasn't wide enough for more people to hate on their content.
And MCU is more daring now, it's a lot less formalaic. And it's trying to cater towards one different audience with every project. And people need to realise that. If you only like Action stuff, the legendary TV show "F.R.I.E.N.D.S" would never be something that you can enjoy but doesn't mean it's a bad show.
If you look, each of phase 4's audience was singular and wildly different.
I loved Eternals, and dare I say, I was it's target audience.
But Shang-Chi just wasn't for me. Don't get me wrong, I loved the story and the visuals and everything and I appreciate it but it's not something that I can really, really love, not as much as Eternals.
And that's okay. I am not gonna go and hate on Shang-Chi for it.
And also, representation and diversity. That's a huge factor that results in these troll reviews and review bombing and bad word of mouth reviews.
Like, gods, no. The MCU was male-white for a decade. Let others see themselves in the MCU for once.
When the best episode is the first one, it's telling.
I agree my favorite shows are Wanda Vision, Loki and Moon Knight!! I'm Really a big fan of what the MCU is doing with the supernatural phase🦇👹🧟♂️🧛♂️ I know you can't reveal any spoilers, but did the ship that cause the accident was that spaceship from the Grandmaster??

I think it’s just going to be fun and I can’t wait for all the oddball cameos - people expect too much from some of these shows - just enjoy them - it’s amazing to be getting all we are getting in both the marvel and Star Wars universes and yet people still complain

@@adityadutta4984 Marvel has to listen beyond just their base fans in order to afford to make movies. If all you want is the comic stories just read them and ignore the movies. It may seem like they are turning away from the comics, but it’s their stories. Get over it.
All I expect is good content none of the Disney plus shows have been good it’s cw levels of writing and acting and cgi so why would anyone like that? I’m all for different opinions but this just feels like you’re clearly trying to defend the mcu as if it’s somehow above criticism

For me sor far, best series i've seen was Hawkeye (being biased cause Hawkeye is me favorite Avenger), Next is Wanda and then Loki. Loki could have made it on my top list but i got disappointed when they forced the love relationship between loki and sylvie.
Not every comic book is for everyone, Disney+ Marvel shows seem to follow that idea more than the event movies.

Just finished watching Daredevil and the rest of the Defenders series so my expectations are really high for this show. I just hope they don't mess up Daredevil's character. He is truly the best superhero in the MCU.

I normally value your opinion and I still do. I think you're playing it safe on this reaction because of how divisive Miss Marvel was. Other reactors who are usually far more negative are singing the praises of this show. Don't be scarred man, you don't need to temper fan expectations

This channel is one of the top ones out there! Happy to see you in pictures with my other favorite creators! This community is very fun and it sounds corny but has changed my life.
She-Hulk was normally posted to come out,on the 17th. But Disney+ Star Wars,also had Andor to come out on the 31rst. So they pushed She-Hulk to the next day,the 18th. They pushed Andor to September 21rst. They didn't want the 2 films,clash together.

The cgi is inconsistent. Her hair gets longer and straighter but, Hulk never changes.

I got to see the first 4 due to a relative who's a reviewer. I had high hopes because I love the comics and I generally like most MCU things.
And this exceeded my expectations. It answers ALOT of questions we have all had about things happening in the MCU. Alot of suprise cameos nobody has leaked or even expected. It's hilarious, it has heart, and had alot more to do with the MCU than any other Disney+ series. And films for that matter.
Edit: It may not be for everyone. Thats just life. Some people dont like things for one reason or another. But its very well made with sharp writing, direction, and acting. Don't agree it's like Love and Thunder. This is being sold as a comedy with drama elements. Love and Thunder was not sold as such. And the comedy is way different from Love and Thunder.

Now the only thing I want for secret wars his She Hulk and Deadpool sharing the screen puzzles as to how the other is breaking the 4th wall
The Sakaar spaceship, which I believe is Hulk's lover from that planet and she is tracking Hulk down by a tracking device implanted inside Hulk/Banner's body without Banner's knowledge. I think his lover is here to tell Hulk about their kid, yes Hulk was on that planet for 2 years and was a celebrity, so it's natural that he would have a love life. Hulk might have been acting up because Banner took him from his woman without knowing but most viewers thought it was because he got beaten by Thanos and was just scared but was lovesick. I believe that Banner didn't come to an agree with Hulk but found a way to suppress Hulk's persona without Hulk's approval. I believe before this series is over this strange Hulk lover will catchup with Dr. Banner while he is with his friends (Wong, She-Hulk, Abomination, Titania, Jessica Jones, Daredevil and Sam Wilson) celebrating at Banner's bar on his island that Wong transport everyone there. When Hulk take over Banner's body, he aggressively starts to attack everyone at this superhero party.

I think unlike love and thunder cuz I haven't seen it yet myself I think because the characters generally comedic from what I've heard in the comics this might be received a little differently

Because, in Bruce case, it was new thing and needed some time to figure it out. Now, it is not something wow! For them... Just like smartphones. When they first came out, adults had raugh time to understand how things worked. Now, two years old can use smartphone like a pro.
Sad thing is, all these needs brain to figure it oit and people are not use to use their brain these days.

I think it needs to be said until everybody everywhere knows it, but the CG in trailers/movies/shows on UA-cam will never look as good as actually watching them on their actual services/movie theaters because UA-cam always compresses them down and it affects the quality. Not even the biggest companies can get around this, otherwise the increases in the necessary bandwidth and the costs associated with that that UA-cam would have to carry would be staggering. Thank you for your honest reaction. My wife and I loved this first episode, and I'm very much looking forward to Thursdays for the next 8 weeks.

The fact that we were advised that it is a half hour comedy and not the usual Marvel show, people need to wait and see and not say it is horrible, without seeing the actual show.

I think the show will be a great way to introduce us to She-Hulk so when Deadpool eventually needs a lawyer and everyone like Daredevil turns him down, when She-Hulk turns him down (or accepts to represent him) folks won’t be thrown off when she interrupts his 4th wall breaking with her own… or they start arguing and both try to explain their side to us at the same time.

I was more of the animated versions of the characters and not so much the comics. I am here for the ride. Just enjoying seeing them on the big screen and the stories.

I think Marvel is smart they are grabbing audiences all over so by the time these characters get to a large screen you will want to see the movie because you love those characters. Im excited for Marvel to grow up reading comics to now having them basically come to life its a dream come true..........

I cant wait for the series because this show is one of my most anticpated MCU show for 2022 behind Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight IMO, because Disney plus needs more Hulk content especially since The Incredible Hulk wasnt on Disney plus or shown in Disney Plus Marvel Studios Legends despite being canon to the MCU regardless of the recasting.
