Cheers Dave, not a bad morning for an off-the-cuff session. Turns out there was a problem with my 70-200mm lens, so I’ve stopped kicking myself over my lack of Deer ability.

I feel for you. The only time I ever have to carry all my crap, including lenses and video stuff is when I do the odd full day of sports photography. It's tens of thousands of steps, all at pace, and I'm destroyed by the end of the day. But you know what Ed, it's all on the flat, I have no idea how you lug it all up hills like that.

I’m sure I don’t need the level of gear I lug around but I suffer from serious self-hate if I find I’m missing something I could have used…
