To be fair the warden (if we want to justify it using lore bases XD) isn't rich compared to thr champion and the inqusitor. Also, the warden became a figure (hof) after the events of the game unlike 2 and inquisition where you are famous after act 1 and famous right from the start
@@mohammadabdelrahman786 It would be cool if we could buy an object used by the Warden in the Emporium. Like his/her joining necklace ending up there offering some abilities. Or if you went the Dalish route the necklace heirloom from his/her mother.
The Black emporium is one of the things I find fascinating in Dragon Age world since it appeared in Dragon Age 2. I always traveled to the Emporium to change my Inquisitor's nose and stop and stared at him, wondering what kind of stories this guy has. I bet he will appear again in DA4. Also he wanted the to acquire the inquisitor's hand after their death. I can just imagine some future dragon age games where the protagonist need to find some ancient relic which is the second inquisitor's wrinkly dried up hand mounted on some pedestal or something. I won't even be surprised to find it in the emporium.
Ok his name is Xenon, Xenon (the element) is a Noble gas, Xenon (the Antiquarian) was a Noble before he was made immortal and turned to stone, and he is possibly 300 years old, so he is a Noble Old Fart.
When I first entered this store I freaked out when Xenon spoke! I THOUGHT IT WAS EMPEROR PALPATINE!!! I was also very disappointed that Sandal wasn't working at The Black Emporium. It would have been perfect!
So if the Venatori and the Templars managed to find their way to the Emporium does that mean they took a charm from someone else? I also wonder if the monster under the floor isn't the only defense system once they reach place.
There was a venatori that xenon found as his customer. Alas, that guy got eaten by the monster under the floorboards and xenon was delighted with the sound of crunching bones.
In a dialogue chain with Varric in haven during DAI when you ask about how he got Bianca he tells the inquisitor (might be a lie, but I’d be funny if it wasn’t) that he found Bianca in the black imperium in a barrel labeled swag and he traded a ham sandwich for her. Though sadly I only got the response once while I’n my third play through playing as a Dalish mage.
Shouldn't the remains of Meridith still be in Kirkwall? In the latest comic "Knight Errant" they can be seen at the exact same spot where she died. Even though I love the idea of her getting dusty on a shelf in the Emporium.
@@fracishermoso5887 Inquisition is set 10 years after DA:O if I remember correctly and pretty much starts not long after DA2. The comic takes place after inquisition though
honestly i wouldn't put it past xenon to have the doors of the Black Emporium temporaly linked/streached over the lands of Thedas .hence why you would need the charm or else one could end up super old/young or possibly just never have existed.

Because I am a Dog Lord at heart! That and there's a lot going on in Thedas, and I just started making videos! I still haven't done a proper video on a lot of subjects- like Qunari or Andraste.
"I liked your old nose better"
But I didn't change my nose....
Or so you'd thought... dum dum dum
Yeah. I changed my eyebrows XD
Me 😂
ROFL... he said that to me yesterday.... my nose was indeed not touched
"NO YOU ARE NOT WORTHY STARVE IN THE SEWERS"
not having the black emporium in DA 4 would be a Sin against the Maker himself
I really like that Xenon asked if he could have the Inquisitor's hand. I would totally give it to him if I could.
Yosht i would trade it in for the tiny bear.m
Foreshadowing to Solas taking your hand lol
I'm hoping to find the inquisitor's left arm in the black emporium in DA 4
I mean, after your death, of course.
Meanwhile the warden must feel left out
Idk man. The warden gets HELLA badass equipment

God that guys voice actor sounds like he’s having an absolute blast
DON'T. Maannnnhandle the URCHIN!
FIND YOUR OWN!
Best part about Xenon? Dubbed by Nick Boulton (M!Hawke's Voice Actor)

ENCHANTMENT!
It’s interesting that the Black Emporium is mentioned as having existed in Anthem by the owner of the Fort Tarsis bar.
There's also a small snoufler and fennec that will immediately bolt to the door upon your entrance in Inquisition.
NO CHARGE THADDEUS, YOU HEAR ME?! NO CHARGE!
I miss Thaddeus
I really love this place my favorite area in the mythos so far if only for the mystery surrounding it.
So if the Venatori and the Templars managed to find their way to the Emporium does that mean they took a charm from someone else? I also wonder if the monster under the floor isn't the only defense system once they reach place.
in DA2 there was a golem named Thaddeus that acted as security, idk what happened to him though
NO_FUN_ALLOWED Huh been too long since I played DA:2 then because I could have sworn someone was going to buy him. With him gone though...
Ha i forgot about that, Thaddeus was his favorite!

Whooo! You did it! A little rusty, but I am glad to see more of your videos! Great quality and always interesting!
You may pet the tiny bear- BUT BE WARNED… he has been known to bite.

"Small boy named Urchin" is still so funny to me......................girl, that's not his name............................
I would die for Chauncey
I'm worried that EA will make the Black Emporium a lootbox / microtransaction hub in future installments. I hope EA would not have this idea.
Thank you lore Goddess!

xenon could have had it retrieved at a different point in time thru the vail or the fade using ''items''

How he was visited on the Blessed age if he's from the steel age? ... Maybe he's a Liar... or his story isn't true
Steel Age is 6:00 to 6:99, while Blessed Age is 8:00 to 8:99, so it's totally plausible.

Love your vids
He sounds like Mark Hamill, voice of the joker
Thats Morrigans sister. The Warden kills her with his sword... Not in the way he did to Morrigan... Ill see myself out..
Sex is called killing now? wow

How have you not made a video about Orlais, theda's de facto superpower

Is there enough info for a video on the dragon hunters? Like Cassandra's family?
Where’s a video on my DAI waifu, Lace?

There was also a Black Imporium in Denerim because of doc in Origins
There is only one Black Emporium
I was seriously disappointed by the black emporium.
