You probably dont give a damn but does anyone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot the login password. I appreciate any help you can give me
@River Immanuel I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
This is why the dwarven commoner is one of my favorite origins to play. You literally go from less than nothing to your people to the highest of the high by becoming a Paragon.
@@poisonpotato1 It's close enough that the criticism has weight, but there are lots of significant differences that would certainly result in Sten finding the comparison offensive. The most important of which are 1) parentage is super important in Orzammar and mostly ignored in the Qun, so Sten would likely find their way of determining which roles people fill to be idiotic compared to having them tested and selected by the priestesses; and 2) Sten would probably short-circuit if someone tried to explain to him that there's an entire segment of Orzammar society legally barred from doing anything productive and thus forced to beg or do crime.
The mechanism of how dwarves who go to the surface lose their caste because they’ve lost the connection to the “stone” is actually based of a little known aspect of the OG caste system in India - the “black water” taboo. According to Indian Hindu society, anyone who crosses the ocean loses their connection to the gods through the Ganges River. The reasoning goes that all water in India originated from the Ganges (not factually true) so if you’re on the ocean or in a foreign land, you are instead exposed only to impure or “black” water not from the Ganges. You’ve lost your connection to the gods, and have also lost your caste!
Just after thinkin',,,I made an enlightened Leliana Divine Victoria, if i remember correctly, she disbands the circle and the templar order, which is iconic but I assume that the Chantry isn't buying all that Lyrium it used to sooo is Orzammar like,,, screwed in my worldstate lol ?
Technically speaking all societies in Thedas have a caste system, because it's really just another name for class system. The society of the dwarves and the qunari are different in the sense that their system is part of their laws, whereas within human society it's more about unwritten rules and norms. In human society 9 times out of 10, the son of a baker will be a baker as well, as it was in real world medieval times, and his chances of climbing the ladder of society is very slim. In that sense Qunari society could be said to be less limiting than human society, since they will judge the son based on what he's deemed good at, rather than what his father was good at.
The video was good, but I think you left a couple things out. As I recall, there is a side quest in DAO where you discover that legion of the dead once had its own caste. Also, if you choose bhelen in origins, he apparently loosens up the caste system, but there is not much on this beyond that if casteless serve for awhile they get new freedoms(although it’s not specified if they are allowed to participate in the revised caste system or no)
Hey, just found your channel but love it and want to throw some support your way. I don’t know if this is your first attempt at a channel but your editing and video format is top notch. Great work and keep it up!
If paragons paragons were living ancestors and they were above even the kind, how was Caradin allowed to be what was essentially executed by the then king? Doesn't really have anything to do with the video, but was something I thought was interesting.
Dwarven castes? What about dwarven crafts? Fine dwarven crafts. Direct from Orzammar. You won't find better.

@@riverimmanuel7955 you've been reported

I like the scene where it's revealed that their most elite warriors were defeated by castless XD.
Now i understand why Varric hates Ozrammar dwarves so much, i wouldn't have liked to live under such rigid system either.
My dwarf commoner: "Oh, so the Qun is like Orzammar"
Sten, offended: "Absolutely not"
I mean isn't it though? They both have caste systems don't they?

Great video! Qunari next? (they also have a caste system, only they don't inherit from their parents but is given a role early on).
Dirthamen Yes! I'd love to learn more about the Qunari. :)

Those were left out as they would have had spoilers which the video was avoiding. Especially with the Legion of the Death.
Dwarf noble playthrough dao awsome
For real, I love the origin. It's a shame I don't play dwarves as much
Dwarfs ftw my nagging worked
