I loooooove the way your hair looks with the very big ringlets! My hair is very fine, barely wavy (about 2b), and thin, so if I shape spirals as big as yours, I end with only 3 ringlets (hahahaha). For this technique to work for me, I have divide my hair in "top" and "bottom" halves, and then grab sections about half the size you do and let them stack on top of each other. Otherwise, I get no volume. Also, I find that for my soft pattern, which is not very defined to begin with, it's better to add the gel before I coil, wait until my hair is about halfway dry and the curls are "set", and then glaze each ringlet with a bit more gel, or a mousse. (This is similar to the "Smaster's Method".) I truly appreciate you sharing your technique. After seeing how you do it, I'm going to start coiling a bit more tightly from the roots. Mine tend to be very smooth (almost straight) at the top. I'll be looking for more of your videos!
@@madhushreee No, thank you for sharing and showing everything in detail. It's very helpful for people like me who did not know they could make their hair curl by using the right products and styling techniques. I have so much to learn! I will try to shape chunkier tomorrow when I refresh.

Hey dear.. I love ur smile.. And curly hair perfectly suits on u.. Thank u so much for sharing tips to manage curly hair. I would like to know there is any bad impact on our hair in future to use regulare live in conditioner or hair styling gel? Maximum how many times we can use per week?
Thank you so much ❤️ there's no limit like that. I usually use when I wash my hair that's once a week. Try not to apply the products on the scalp. It shouldn't have any bad impact on hair, leave in conditioner is actually good as its moisturising the hair. If the product has too much chemicals then reduce the use of it
Hi.....I m from up...from a middle class family...and really can't afford products more than 1k per bottle....even I saw your videos on products...but I feel confused..because every UA-camr try thousands product but we can't...so please tell me one product that is authentic...by one product I mean..one for shampoo, one for pre poo etc..... please help me ......I subscribed you because I found you very honest with your details....
Hey you can watch my Fixmycurls review video, I've compared all the Indian curly brands I've tried and you can choose among them as per your need. Also you don't really need a separate product for pre poo, just use a regular hair oil like coconut oil. You also don't need an expensive shampoo as the only job of shampoo is cleansing and there are tons of affordable ones available. What you really need is a good leave in cream. You don't have to invest in other products.

Hi madhushree loved your videos... I am about to start my curly hair routine soon since I am just doing my research on curly girl routine... I have one request to you. Can you do a video on how you prep your hair for a hair cut ? Do you cut your hair yourself ? If not what do you tell your. Hair dresser about the styling that you want? Also do you use sulphate shampoo before haircut ? Can you please please please make a video to give a general idea about how to prep before having a haircut if you are a cg method girl??? Thanks!!!!!👍👍👍👍
Hi thank you for watching ❤️ I don't cut hair myself. I usually just tell the hair dresser to cut my dead ends and sometimes maybe shape them well. They end up doing layers Everytime. But I recommend you to go to a good hair stylist who knows to work with curly hair. To find out good hair stylist in your area you can reach out to local curly bloggers near your area. Also there's no special prepping I do. I don't follow the strict CGM so I do use sulfate shampoos most of the times.
Hello dear. I’ve just started curly girl routine I’m a doc so I can’t keep my hair open, I need to tie them up In bun or braid. So doing this will affect my CGR ? Or which hairstyle should I prefer during this CGR.

Hi you can leave the conditioner in a little bit instead of washing it out completely. For this you can use squish to condish method. I’m planning to make a video on it soon!
Hey it depends on your hair type and hair need. I personally like curl up. I have a video in which I compare ashba, curl up and fixmycurls and tell which is good for which hair type. I hope that helps you choose.
And also what to do at night. I mean should I keep them open or tie them or do what. As I’m a Sikh , can’t trim or cut my hair so I’ve lots of split ends. Kindly suggest me night time routine
Hi curly hair is naturally very frizzy and dry. So we should apply moisturising products from the outside just like we apply moisturisers on our skin :)
I m about to start the cg method but I didn't got one thing that is I can only comb my hair when it's wet like I shampoo after every 2-3 days so will I comb in 2-3 days and if I spray water and comb my hair will the curls maintain????
Hi diffuser is an attachment for hair dryer. You can use it without attachment but you have to be controlled with it by keeping far or low speed as it can cause frizz. Diffuser controls the air flow.
I’m sorry but this looks very different than your natural hair in the other videos and you didn’t show the drying process. Out of the blue you appear with perfect dried hair with curls that are very different than your natural curls and very similar to the ones you did in the hairdresser...
Madhushree Joshi Thanks for sharing your routine. I did watch the whole video and I didn’t see the diffusing part. Showing the whole process would be great - from finger coiling through diffusing to the final results.
Madhushree Joshi Interesting, hundreds of curly hair youtubers out there and nobody is complaining when they diffuse their hair on video. That’s why they have credibility. Besides, in this case where your results look very similar to curls shaped by an iron curling, it would have helped with credibility. Sorry, I prefer watching other youtubers who are really serious about it.

Hey tying hair in braids and in bun should actually be helpful for hair. It won't affect your curls. Just keep them moisturised :)
When should we apply the serum? After its 100 percent dry or when it's damp?
You mean the cream? Should be applied on soaking wet hair but depends on your preference.
