@D1G1T47 D3SPA1R No ones curls are absolute perfect without doing something to them. Most times its some form of finger coil or twisting to get it to sit in a perfect ringlet. Even on a lot of very course curly hair, you need care and styling to get a strong curl pattern.
@@lilacfoofness that's true I have tried my curly routine on my friend with straight/ very slightly wavy hair and finger coiling or other styling methods didn't hold up at all. Just looks a little beachy. You really do need to have the right textured hair
@D1G1T47 D3SPA1R girl ever heard of porosity? I have low porosity and difficulties retaining moisture so my curls looks so frizzy without product and finger coiling. People don't called curly hair a hassle for no reason, it does take dedication if you want them bouncy curl
I have so many curl patterns in my hair which I didn’t even know was a thing when I transitioned to curls after years of straightening so finger coiling only works for some of my curls. For bits of hair that don’t work with finger coiling, I use flexi rods, to me they act in a similar way and I get a consistent curl that blends in better with the rest of my curls
That works too, i'm on the wavier side, and the rods help a lot, but the finger rolling tecnique works too in this case when you want to get a more defined curls, I hope this can help too ❤️
@@camilamartinez7122 I can NOT get the finger rolling technique down! 😅 BUT what I do (because Brad Mondo suggested it once so I tried it) is I use my finger like a curling wand so instead of rolling from the ends to the roots, I place my finger at the root and wrap my hair around my finger like it's a wand. Then I gently let it go and it becomes a spiral! Less breakage for my fine hair this way too.
What is a flexi rod!? The back of my neck is 1c-2a. Most my head is 2b.. around my face some 2c... And when I finger coil I get an odd turd looking twist. I don’t care what type curl I have I just want them to look similar!
@@jessicagalyon5840 Hey girl, they are basically just bendy foam rollers. Like doing a wet set, like women would do in the 50s but with rollers. You can get them from anywhere. I'm not sure where in the world you are but google search 'Flexi rods' or 'bendy hair rollers' and loads will come up. I found a video here that shows you how to use them: ua-cam.com/video/AVNVTMYvit0/v-deo.html This isn't my video or anything, I just found a random video but its short and clear on how to use them. Your routine might be different than the girl in the video, so just do your normal wash routine, (wet or damp hair-whichever works best for you), section your hair so you're just working with the back section that needs curling. Do your normal curl routine on this section, using your normal products, leave in, curl cream then add a bit of your gel, then Flexi rod this section. {Adding the gel before using the Flexi robs means it will help hold the curl.}. Brush the hair before adding the rod so there are no bumps, the hair should be smooth when rolling onto the rob. You should have problem because your hair its 2a at the back.Tip for rolling: roll them so the hair is flat on the rod instead so you get a more defined curl. Then take the rest of your hair down, add your normal curl products, creams gel etc and finger coil the rest of your hair like you normal would. Air dry or diffuse as normal. The hair in the Flexi robs might take a bit longer to dry but if you when you touch them and they don't feel cold, they are dry. if they feel cold still they are still wet. You will get a better result if they are fully dry so give them a little squeeze to check if they are still wet. I've do it before when I thought they were dry to touch, took them down and they were still wet and the curls messed up. Once all dry, take out the rods then just a bit of serum or oil to scrunch out the crunch how you normally would separating the curls etc and you're done. Apologies for the long post haha, I hope that helps 💕 Another video here on how to use Flexi rods to refresh curls when its not your wash day. I do this all of the time if I need to extend my style for a few more days 💕 ua-cam.com/video/G2W05YAFC6k/v-deo.html

Gonna go try this..I feel like it won’t work for me but I will try still just in case
I love te color of your hair, are those highligths ?
My curl pattern is the opposite, bottoms half of my head beautifully spiral and bouncy, top half of head lots of the more limp curls and straggly bits, which creates the illusion of overall less curl! 😭

So my current state of my hair is kind off straight but I killed the curl and, I’m trying to get it back so hopefully I’ll see results with this video and if someone can leave some advice it would be amazing!
What color are your eyes? They are so beautiful!!
Yeah I have ridiculously thick, long hair. There’s no way I could do this. I’d be here all day 😭😭
You're tips really help me with my hair 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I use the Bounce Curl brush. Have you used that before?

When i wash my hair (shampoo + leave in ) then i get defined curls..but when i refresh my hair on day 3, i cant get defined curls..u cant see any clumps..wht should i do.??
I lovvve the results but I’ve no idea how I’d fit this in with an already painfully long wash day routine 🥲
thank you so much for this video i really needed it
great...ill try it🤙🏻😍
Hello Jayme, I was wondering what kind of haircut you get, cause I wanna be a haircut like yours, but I don't know much about haircuts. Or if anyone in the comments knows what kind of haircut it is I would really appreciate it. 😊
Which day should I prioritise curl training ?
What products do you use everyday in and out of the shower? Thank u
I did have the most good curly hair but I bleached it and playing around with it actually w heat to so its super damaged and doesn’t have a pattern 😢😢😢
Suggestions for hydration? Idk if thats what my hair needs. Its heat & chemical damaged including a recent bleach tot attempt to light brown hair to just end up covering the brassy orange colour w medium brown box dye. I love my Lus hair step 3 process. Im a basic B so it suits my daily life but im out of conditioner & between orders atm. Im obsessed! Since this latest dye tho & trying to get length & growth - i feel like mine needs some hydration - feels dry almost brittle (or its in my head) tips!?
