Dance of Death is Iron Maiden's 13th studio album it was released in 2003, one of their best albums
Hams Dams Meh....I would beg to differ. Personally, the only non-80s albums that I think rank up with the 80s work are Fear Of The Dark and Brave New World. This wasn't really that special and it really showed Bruce's voice aging (not sure if this was before, during, or after his battle with throat cancer). Before this, Bruce's worn voice was only noticable for some concerts, but whenever he was in the studio, it sounded perfectly crisp. Here, that worn-out voice is very noticeable whenever he sings in the higher octave.

I’ve seen them live now 6 times in my 22 years of life. Best band of all time. They sound even better performing live. I suggest you check them out when they go on tour again. They were supposed to be on tour right now in Australia I believe but this pandemic thing canceled their tour. They still perform and play like they they are young. And they are all in their 60’s. Watch them live, and go see them in concert, it will be the best show you’ve ever been too. The singer Flys their own plane. Best throat cancer. And if you think his voice is strong, check out The thin line between love and hate by Iron Maiden. Or check out his single “years of the dragon” live. Love your videos. First time commenting, some weeks ago i subscribed. What you are talking about related to the masked dance comes from the Carnival Of Venetia (Italy), where rich people put on masks during a pandemic (can't recall which one, if it was measles, hemorragic fever... can't recall exactly which one) while the poor died outside the gates of palace. The masked dance of death comes a looooong way before Iron Maiden. Im pretty sure im mixing some inaccurate stuff, and english is not even my main language (im from Spain). Anyway, keep going!!

UOAbigail LeVey Yeah. They're borderline synonyms. We just tend to use Symphonic when referring to very grand-sounding songs whereas a soft Pop song with an orchestral backing track wouldn't be labelled Symphonic. Also, an Orchestra consists of just the Stringed family, whereas a Symphony features both band and orchestra.

To me, this is one of their songs that I just can’t get into because it never really takes route or goes anywhere like the majority of their songs. Although I can say the live version in Rio, I think it was of this is really good.
