Very good reaction, in Chile 🇨🇱 we like three things: bread 🍞, wine 🍷, and Iron Maiden 🤘🏽
🤘🔥👏
Greetings from Slovenija,up the irons
These boys are a different breed. Greatest band ever. Great story tellers and great musicianship. Bad ass live. What a band. Alexander the great, aces high, the trooper, 22 acacia avenue, the prisoner, rime of the ancient mariner, killers, phantom of the opera, somewhere in time, powerslave, wasted years, in fact you can't go wrong with their 1st 7 albums. Bunch of good new stuff too. Seriously man they are my life force.
Likewise :)
There's two things I feel that are underaprecciated - Steve and Nicko.
And those guys are some of the most famous of their instruments :D
Iron Maiden - Sign Of The Cross live from "Rock in Rio" is a masterpiece.
@@sebiita1988 That's your opinion.
*Not only this song. Whole concert was masterpiece. 🤟🔥🤟 Also Beast Over Hammersmith Live (1982). 🔥*
@@prodxlavender1426 Yeah for the year it was recorded the sound technicians did a great job, one of my favourite live concerts.
Iron its good to our lives? ❤️ from Portugal Everybody loves iron!!!
In my opinion, every song live from Rock in Rio is the best version
Iron Maiden has been playing crowds like that since the 1980's!
One of the very few bands that sounds better live than recorded Pink Floyd and Iron Maiden absolutely incredible.
The level of storytelling is unmatched
Bruce Dickinson (vocalist) is also a pilot that flies the band 747 (retired now) but he's a bit tasty (as we say in the UK) home band, Also survived throat cancer (twice) and still singing after having a big chunk of his tongue removed he had to learn how to talk again, never mind sing.
As if this wasn't enough to his credit, he was a genius at bringing history to the modern world that a younger generation could learn in a way their teachers could not communicate to them without being boring! Bruce Dickinson is a genius!
Everything handmade 👌🏻
A band with history.
I just saw them two months ago. 500 mile round trip. Was 40 years since I first saw them. The energy is the same after 40 years. Crazy.
The correct pronunciation of the guitarist is Yawn-ick.
You now have 40 years worth of Maiden to get through.
Enjoy.
Up The Irons!
Just found your channel through this video and subbed when you said more was coming lol, Maiden is the GOAT. Maiden fans are crazy, they'll find your videos for sure. "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" (the live Flight 666 version) is incredible, it's like their masterpiece song, highly recommend that one next.
His flag is everyone’s and he represents us all! EDDIE!
Man... I was there.. and I still can't believe it.. was so damn crazy and magical
This is one my all-time favorite Maiden performances. The Chilean crowd (of over 43,000 people!) was electrifying and the band was on fire. I was lucky enough to see them on that tour when I was 11 years old (my first time seeing them) and it was magical. If you plan on reacting to more Maiden I'd say live performances are never a bad option. Regardless any of these songs are classics: Hallowed Be Thy Name, Phantom of the Opera, The Number of the Beast, Wrathchild, Run to the Hills, Aces High, Revelations, 2 Minutes to Midnight, Wasted Years, The Evil That Men Do, and many, many more! Cheers!
If you opt for live versions of those songs allow me to provide my favorites:
Hallowed Be Thy Name (Live at Hammersmith 1982)
Phantom of the Opera (Live at the Rainbow 1981)
The Number of the Beast (Live at Hammersmith 1982)
Wrathchild (Live at the Rainbow 1981)
Run to the Hills (Rock in Rio 2001)
Aces High (Flight 666 2008)
Revelations (Dortmund 1983)
2 Minutes to Midnight (Live After Death 1985)
Wasted Years (Maiden England 1988)
The Evil That Men Do (Rock in Rio 2001)
I've heard the attendance that day was 55,000
@@alexandre_am I checked on Wikipedia and that's what it said. I think the max capacity was 55k but it wasn't sold out.
@@jinzoslegions I just checked the DVD's back cover, it says "50,000 die-hard Chilean devotees"
@@alexandre_am I feel like they might've exaggerated a bit but that's just me. Regardless it was a lot of people.
Great reaction brother J . I appreciate the shout out. I knew you would love this performance. These guys are all in there late 60's and the energy these guy's have is mind boggling. This is an epic story told by a master of story telling. The crowd participation is also epic . If you watch all the band members their all smiling and having fun with each other . There just as thrilled to be there as the audience is. Welcome to the world of Maiden my new friend 🤘🤘
Mike.... No they are not all in late 60s. Bruce the singer has just turned 64 and the other 5 players are a bit older until the drummer Nicko is now 70.. he is amazing. Bruce is brilliant though at singing and telling the stories. They are still performing today and are in the USA i BELIEVE at the moment.
Amazing reaction, your excitement is absolutely contagious. 😃👍
Voted by Planet Rock as the best Heavy metal band of ALL TIMES...that is some statement. I agree with it.
This year will be their last tour go see them at all cost I've been blessed to see them a dozen or so times
Aces High, PowerSlave, MoonChild, Revelations, Sign of the Cross, Flight of the Navigator. so many to name :)
Congratulations on being the first reactor to NOT comment on how awesome the crowd singing was!
Rime Of The Ancient Mariner next please, also Fear Of The Dark, always live. Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son is my personal favourite by them...
The greatest band in the world. Out of this world live 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

That was great... Next should be Revelations (Piece of Mind album) or Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Powerslave album)
Yes, Yes and Yes again.
Specifically the live versions from the Flight 666 DVD!
Amazing , when you also understand that these men were in their late 50s , and they still maintain that level of energy .
Hint always listen to Maiden live. Period< one of the greatest live bands ever (if not the best)
Thanks! This is a deep rabbit hole :) I am 52 yrs now and have been a fan since 13 yrs. Took me over 25 yrs to somewhat catch up on guitar :P lol Now I can pretend to play with them...finally :P Took forever though.
One of my favorite maiden songs first reaction channel I've seen do it
I love Maiden, If you want to see something that blows your mind watch Nightwish "ghost love score" live at waken 2013, you will be mind blown
Hallowed Be Thy Name... the 2022 Tour was amazing.... 2023 Somewhere in the Past-Tour---- i can't wait
You should react to "run to the hills" and "flight of Icarus" from Iron Maiden those songs are true masterpieces
IRON MAIDEN fan subscribed!
Great reaction thanks 🇨🇷
Interesting bit of Maiden history, guitarist Adrian Smith (white guitar) left the band in 1990 after 9 years and 7 albums, guitarist Janick Gers (stage left) replaced him for 4 albums, then Adrian wanted to rejoin the band in 1999, there was a conundrum and debate over which of the two guitarists...then guitarist Dave Murray suggested "Why not have 3 guitarists then? We're Iron Maiden, we can do whatever the fuck we want" and that lineup has remained since 2000's Brave New World, that's why they have 3 lead guitarists
Yeah, sure:
Vocals: Paul Bruce Dickinson
Guitar: David Michael Murray
Guitar: Adrian Frederick Smith
Guitar: Janick Robert Gers
Bass guitar: Stephen Percy Harris
Drums: Michael Henry McBrain
Greatest band ever!!!!
Songaren is a pilot, he flew as a pilot between Sweden and Norway. I was there myself. And meeting your idol since childhood is something extra before the concert.
😈😈🤘🤘🤘simply a masterpiece🤘🤘🤘😈😈
The Clansman Live @ Rock In Rio. You'll love it I promise!
Fear of the dark -Rock in rio or hallowed be thy name, flight of Icaros,,, great Maiden songs. Up the Irons! :)
More Iron Maiden!! 😁
Saludos de Chile ✌🇨🇱
Your reaction is legitimately bad ass.niccee
The Clansman and sign of the cross from rock in rio 2001, Hell on earth from they're latest album and the book of souls live from download 🤘
As a life long Iron Maiden fan, there is so much to their music that goes into varying degrees of depth, always with a strong story telling aspect. Also can't truly appreciate Maiden without paying tribute to their origins and progressions. With Paul Di'anno as the original vocalist and Blaze Bailey also coming in for a couple albums while Bruce focused on his solo work.
Janick (Pronounced Yanick), is the one on the acoustic at the start... Lots of ppl covering some of Maidens big hits however if you want to get a better understanding of Bruce's capability as a vocalist and song writer check out some of his solo work too, such as tears of the dragon.

To further appreciate his diversity, look up the documentary 'Scream For Me Sarajevo" he did a concert in Bosnia whilst it was under siege.
He's also a commercial airline pilot and entrepreneur.

Up The Irons 🤘
Janick Gers was on the acoustic guitar at the beginning
IRON MAIDEN !!!!
Shreding!!!!!
A week after this I saw them in Tampa. The crowd wasn't anything like this.
React to The Clansman live Rock in rio 2001
Clansman from rock in rio and moonchild from flight 666 . And man of sorrows from bruces solo stufff is worth a listen. Also hallowed be thy name Hammersmith 1982 just for the energy that will blow your mind.
Janick gets the guy shredding also wrote this song.
Consider
Every band member, except perhaps Janik is pushing 60+ at the time of this recording.
Thats almost a combined total of 240 YEARS of talent on one stage held within 6 people given that they became a thing in thier 20's, let alone pre-recording talent.
Very few bands can hold a candle to that, in fact KISS is the only one that springs to mind that still actively plays together that would eclipse them.
I like seeing rappers react to metal, because I see rap as "short stories", whereas metal tends to be "novels", it's an appreciation of storytelling. Neither is "better", both can be appreciated.
I must confess however, I prefer novels.
Up the Irons!!
🤘 Sick 🤘
💯🔥🔥
Been a maiden fan for decades and have seen them live over 10 times. THIS SONG for some reason out of them all makes my blood pump like a mofo! Surely my fave maiden song tho I fuck with them all.
❤️💪❤️💪
It's not the best song of Iron Maiden, but it's probably the best overall performance of all times by any band.
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
All bandmembers are over 60 years old
i was there
All the reactions are from the live in Chile
REACT TO THE RIME OF THE ANCIENT MARINER'LIVE FLIGHT 666.
Fear of the dark
Best thing you can do is rock up.when they come to your corner bro. Us 'metal heads' accept everyone. smile and enjoy🤘
Try some "The Dooo" video !
This is a live band. Albums are great but they give it all live.
This may sound like the comment of an over the top obssessed fan or a brainwashed hardcore idiot but it's not, i guarantee you this band will be the biggest, deepest musical rabbit hole you will encounter, your mind will be blown by the sheer number of good songs they have. This is no exaggeration at all. From 1980 to 2021 they have released 17 studio albums and every album has at least 1 good song on it. The first 7 from 1980-1988 are all good, though there are a few songs I never really got that into they are nonetheless well made and lots of other people enjoy them, even during what is considered their decline years from 1990-1998 they had some good stuff to listen to, that era had 4 albums, and the songwriting quality came back in 2000 and has continued since, this current era has been 6 albums. I like over 90 songs by them, more than I can say for any other band that I like,so don't be surprised if you end up liking at least 50. If someone suggests a song check it out, even if the song doesn't do much for you don't be afraid to listen to another one, I don't like all their songs but the good far far far outweigh those songs. You will without a doubt enjoy this ride. Also Hallowed Be Thy Name is from The Number Of The Beast (1982), The Trooper is from Piece Of Mind (1983) and Dance of Death is from Dance of Death (2003) so you see straight up quality in that span of time.
I can't understand how it's possibile to hear something good with the hood UNDER the headphones. :|
None better, and I mean NONE!!!
