Thanks for sharing. When I install the camera on my 2012 Accord, I had cut a slit in the license plate light fixture. Planning to install one in a 2007 Accord. Will check out if would be better to go through the taillight as you had done.

Thaks for the video. Was it really necessary to remove the back seats if you were just going thru to the rocker covers anyway?
Hey thank you. The wire I tapped to it’s right there behind the back of the back seat. It’s not necessary to remove but it made the job easier if you chose to tap into another wire. I also needed to fix the lining of the carpet under the seat. So it was convenient for me.

Great video, thankfully for me I was swapping my brown ugly tan interior for a black leather/carbon fiber plastic combination so my interior can be destroyed or is removable at this point.. until I finish the interior fully new steering wheel and dash as well

Was there anything you had to do in the android unit to get the camera to work? I've got power but the camera does not come on when I go into reverse.
Im sure a wire plugs into the android and the other to the reverse light I went through the whole thing on my video.

hey brother I have the same unit as you what did you do with the wire that is labeled "reverse in" because when I put it in reverse the head unit doesn't seem to know its in reverse and doesn't change the source to display the back up camera. I have the wire that just says reverse and the red power positive wire connected together so it should be working but its not.

I spliced my wires now the back up lights won’t come on 😤 and yes positive with positive and negative with negative. I checked the fuse and it’s not burnt…
You didn’t cut it completely right. Check that the other end in not making contact with metal.

Mine shows no input when it goes into reverse. Is there a setting that I have to change?
SoSo Beats did you make sure you plug your power to the light and the input to the reverse wire?
@@Jaime.grijalva.official yes, everything is plugged in. The screen automatically goes to the reverse camera but just keeps saying no input.
SoSo Beats so basically it’s not getting power into the input wire. So change the source I ran a wire from the reverse lights to the input behind the radio.

Ofcourse I did watch it again. Red wite goes with pink. Then the yellow plug in goes with camera in.
