I just installed a similar unit in my Accord and also had issues with no on screen display when using AC. To resolve this, ensure you plugged in the (I think) 2 wire harness between fitting kit (AC controls) and the rear of Android sterero (you mentioned this in the video). You then need to go into the car 'hidden settings' (how to get here depends on the stereo). On mine, I had to goto settings, then "Car Infotainment", then About, and click the gear icon that appears. Then enter code (8888 in my case) and goto CAN Bus Type. As mine is Accord, 7, DUAL AC, I had to choose CAN bus type 75, and then specify DUAL AC. NOTE THAT THE OPTIONS YOU CHOOSE MAY BE DIFFERENT, SO DOUBLECHECK WITH SELLER / MANUFACTURER. Clicked save, rebooted unit and now when I use AC, a window pops up on screen. Also, I now get display on screen when doors are open (when engine is running)

CAN Type 201 allows me to bring up the little popup menu when i use the AC, but i still don't actually feel the AC turn on, it only blows warm air

@@devinewski Still have the problem. Still working on it too. I'm guessing it might just be for single unit AC, but in the developer settings there is an option for dual ac but it still doesn't work so I'm really not sure. I've tried a lot of stuff. I'm about to try a couple last things before returning the screen that i bought, and then I'll probably return this screen and see about getting a different dash kit or something. The weather is finally getting cool so it's less of a priority for me now at least

@rogerhendrikse Thanks for your post, not the same radio but pointed me on the right direction, there was a lot of different CanBus Settings there for my 2005 Honda Accord and I played with all of them until I finally got it the one that worked for my car. it was (DaoJun-Honda-Accord7-Low). Now it all works fine and dandy. Android Auto and Carplay work great, steering wheel controls, back up camera. Good to go now. Thank you.

Hey. I watched this video, bought the exact same thing cuz my car is accord 2007 as well, and brought into the stereo service shop to install cuz i’m bas at this stuff. But the guy there messed up the AC and now i cannot change the temperature of the AC anymore. I can change the air flow but all the lights are not showing too and this doesn’t support the AC control, can you suggest me what to do? Thank you!

Yes it did work. You have to go into the factory settings and change the type of Honda, If I remember correctly it is labeled as "Honda 2".

Why didn't you use the factory GPS antenna as there adapter to do that. Newer ones now have reverse camera, HD Radio & even SiriusXM Satellite Radio you can add on.

Hi I have the same operating system as yours everything is working fine with my unit but one problem I have the window defrosting doesn't work. On the weekend I put the factory unit back just to test and the window defrost worked worked perfectly. But when I installed the Android unit the window defrost doesn't work. So can you please help if there any way to get this issue fixed.

I already figured it out, it was on factory settings. You have “Accord 1” and “Accord 2”, we selected Accord 2 and they option for ac controls was enabled. The password for my unit is 123456. Thanks a bunch!

@@blacksheepboyz the radio should have factory setting it will have the accord one or two and you select that and the air condition should be working if not then you need to play with factory setting for your Accord and hopefully fine the right one but take a pic of the screen before you change any setting so it's not the right one you can change it back just make sure you take a picture of it first before you change the seting hope you understand

Did you ever figure out how to make the AC controls to show up on the screen? My car did not have a factory navigation, but does have the dual climate controls. My radio works fine and all, but I can't see my AC settings on the screen at all. I have made sure the wires from the climate control are connected and the other one to the back of the screen.

I installed one recently and I'm troubleshooting right now... I can't get the air to come from different spots. It only goes to the window and feet (mode button shows change but no change actually happens). Where did you plug the cable in that used to go to a can bus box on the back of the old radio?

That display receives signal from the original stereo via an extra wiring loom. These stereos dont have the plug for that loom

you took it to a shop is why, it comes with instruction and should have come with a adapter just like the one i put in my 04 accord. the factory one without dual zone needs the adaptor

I’ll be honest I have this radio, the only thing I like is the Bluetooth everything else is annoying. It glitches constantly. & you cant adjust the brightness like really? So I turn the screen off most of the time cause at 4:30 in the morning the last thing I want is to be blasted in the face with a 10 inch bright ass screen lol
Idk I’m old school I prefer buttons
Specially driving manual touch screen is not my friend haha
