Huge space. Lots of room to organize your stuff. A lot of work ahead, but eventually it'll be a cool place to hang out. Thanks for sharing a peak into the new basement.
I am using your computer and it wouldn't change to Lynn, anyway you are 71 years old, doing an awesome job and I am proud of you, and remember you are always welcome upstairs, there is lots of room, Love you honey❤ and always we got this!!!
Hi Glen!!! Well done so far.... as you said it's a work in progress with a lot of stuff to do but i'm sure it's going to look cool, warm and cozy to hang out and listen to music. cheers and be well
Good to see you Glen ! Nice area ! You definitely have a lot of space. If your anything like me you'll be moving things around for a couple of months finding better ideas as time goes on. If you don't want to attach any thing to the wall , one time I had a music room back in the seventies and the walls were brick painted with plaster white wash so I couldn't nail, tack or even tape without making a mess . So on the ceiling as close to the wall I could get I would attach wire and to the wire I would attach a cheap sturdy backing that I would hang my things like posters or pictures and they would look like they were against the wall. The backing I would make the same size as the poster. Just an idea, I'm sure you'll do fine with better ideas of your own , have fun !!
I’ve been living in very cheap rental apartments fully furnished with kitchen etc plus massive swimming pool in Thailand, paying $380 a month, living is a lot cheaper than in the western world 😊. I remember when I was a teenager I had an attic all to myself when I lived with my parents. Had my own table tennis and pool table, fun times 😊. Looks great, your own den to enjoy 👍😂
Sorry to see you had to move and now renting. I hated renting in my early years and now that we own our home I built my record room like i wanted. Only problem now is I am running out of room! LMAO
A nice big basement to set up your music room in! The only problem is the furnace noise when listening to your music??? Might not be a bad problem though Good luck in setting up
Did you hear what he said about 1 minute in? This is a rental property we're going to be tenants so I don't want to spend a lot of money on permanent fixtures he said it clear as a bell 🤯
Looking good 👍
Best of luck with the move Glen, your new basement is massive. Can’t wait to see the finished version.

Thanks Rich..I have high hopes..
It’s going to look great, Glen!

I love you too..I am the luckiest man in the world..
Looks like room for Larry to setup a cot for listen parties
Good luck with your new project. I'm not much of a DIY guy, so I don't have many ideas.
Thanks Randy..I am about as handy as an amoeba..
Looks good! There are millions of possibilities! I'm sure it will be great and reflect your great personality and intrest!
Thanks so much Morris.
Hi Glen!!! Well done so far.... as you said it's a work in progress with a lot of stuff to do but i'm sure it's going to look cool, warm and cozy to hang out and listen to music. cheers and be well
Thanks Christian..as long as we have the music..it will be home..
Beads as the bedroom divider
Perfect for an old hippie👍
Hi Glen,
The basement is coming along great. Thanks for the ideas. I’m definitely going with the curtains to hide my insulation; fantastic!
Glad I could help..
Nice big basement. Hope Larry will be helping you.
Larry is going to give me a Beach Boys poster for the room..
@@GlenKellawayfromthebasement😂
Again. I admire your energy. Hope it comes together well for you.
Thanks Dennis..👍❤
cool. nice basement tour
Will do another one when it’s finished..
Will that be my guestroom when I visit?
I think I will christen it Sam’s Room..
@@GlenKellawayfromthebasement as it should be!
I would just hang more of those black curtains. Good luck on the move. Hope the basement stays dry.
Problem with all curtains is I won’t be able to put up any posters..
A big charge. I hope your music is going to sound great in there.
Me too 🤞🤞

I wish rent was that cheap here..lol..maybe I should move to Thailand and we can hang out..
Looks good! 😊 I agree curtains to hide the insulation would work.
Only problem with curtains is I won’t be able to hang posters.

Didn’t have to move..just call it the freedom 71..

I will just turn up the music..
Cover the walls with curtains, but where there are electrical outlets, let the curtains hide the wires.
Is this gonna be your new place or is this just temp?

Get a female to work it out for you. Men just see a perplexing mess while women can visualise the completed idyll.
Why did you move in the first place ? I thought you owned your own house.why don't just buy another house...OR move in with Larry
If I wanted to still own a house..I wouldn’t sold mine…Wow..what a great UA-cam series..Living With Larry..
