Also, orange Ade's description of the older Rocker 30 "natural" channel is still awesome to me (look up the older Rocker 30 on youtube) : "if you're a good guitar player and you've got a good guitar it sounds good. If you're not and you don't, it won't."
Haha, I remember a video where someone had Steve Vai demo his live sounds, and his 'crunch' probably would qualify as extreme high gain to most people.
Congrats on the baby Rob!!! Even if it's not born yet, you are probably going to be an awesome father just based on the way you care about fans and anyone else you may meet!
Rob's lick, 8:30 - 9:00 ... Felt as though I was witnessing an alien landscape, while flying a spaceship in 'slow motion'... That was some trip, totally awesome! 😎
Orange amps are amazing! The lead tone from 7:30 to 8:01 is absolutely glorious! The 15 by itself at 15:22 sounds freakin awesome too. I want one so bad! Lol
I replaced Ade Emsley the designer at Orange, as a guitarist in a band after he had left. This was about 24 years ago. I got to meet Ade a few times, and one time he brought his class A hand wired 30w amp he had made. It sat in an old vintage Marshall case, and had a distinctive green power light. Plugged it in to my 4x12 with 25w Celestions, Les Paul, cranked itup. Best amplifier I have ever played through. The sound was out of this world. Guy is an amp genius :)
hi chappers, hi captain, i am watching your videos for quite a while. Very informing, very funny...please keep on doing that stuff as long as you can, its great. Thank you for all your efforts. You are very lucky to check all those guitars and amps. But I indulge that. Again, thanks and have a nice 2017!
From 20:08, spot on, blokes. From an American, thanks for a few seconds of your wonderfulness. The guy's name is Mad Dog James Mattis, by the way. And the amps ain't bad, either.
Nothing sounds better than an excess of Tubes/Valves... They are smaller versions of the old Master Volume Marshall's.. The best sound to this day.....
21:20 This advice is so true. People still can't help themselves though, even if they know it. That 3% of the time when they can unleash the amp at full power counts!
My original orange Rocker 30 is the best amp I've very had. I do really appreciate the el34's in it, but I'm excited to try these new ones first hand. I leave mine at the band space, so a 15 watt Rocker for home would be awesome.
Tim Flohr The original Rocker 30 was probably the best modern Orange amp. This version has an effects loop, so it won't have the awesome tone and balls of the original.
I saw the vid with Matt and TTK....good on Matt for handling himself the way he did! TTK was completely disrespectful and shoved the camera in his face saying "tell the camera why we can't come in"......then TTK goes and says how respectful he was and he would have just "turned it off" if asked.
Just bought one of the Rocker 32's... Not here yet, but this demo vid has me pretty excited. Oh, and Rob's noodling would be my greatest creation if I could...dang it Rob.
Best amp I have had for home use is my Laney IRT Studio running without a speaker via USB into DAW and out of monitors. Sounds great. I was really surprised how good it is. I expected okay, but it beats all the amps and modellers etc I have owned for getting good tone at low volume. Tried lots of solutions for the volume issue. Even a Palmer Speaker sim. Laney for the win.
Get this Rocker 32, chuck the tens and run this into a set of 212s. I'm using a PPC212 and a harley benton 212 and it is sooo lush. Not a big fan of those VOTW speakers, but this is a killer amp and one of the few stereo rigs you can get your meathooks on
guys please, don't use reverbs and delays non-stop when doing rewievs. ok use it but please do it also not efected signal (clean, dirty). That's the real sound of the amp...delays just make any amp sound huge :) . doing it fo stereo demonstration...ok... but really do it rough sound too. Other way I am huge fan of your videos...and jokes... what can I say...You guys rock! cheers!
I think orange are my favorite amps currently have a blackstar id15 tvp but when ever I get a bigger amp I'm leaning towards orange for that awesome crunch they have.
congrats on the baby, Chappers!
coincidentally, i used to be a baby!
Congrats! coincidentally I'm still a baby
Also, orange Ade's description of the older Rocker 30 "natural" channel is still awesome to me (look up the older Rocker 30 on youtube) : "if you're a good guitar player and you've got a good guitar it sounds good. If you're not and you don't, it won't."
Rob's clean is my overdrive...
Haha, I remember a video where someone had Steve Vai demo his live sounds, and his 'crunch' probably would qualify as extreme high gain to most people.
Rob's overdirve is my clean.
TheDogpa Your overdrive is my "guitar isn't even plugged into the amp"
No, actually an FX80-B into DS-1 into a Metal Muff into a GE-7 and frying the input of a tube amp.
Simsom Guppington your guitar not even plugged into your amp is my......well hmmmm I'm at a loss of cleverness
Congrats on the baby Rob!!! Even if it's not born yet, you are probably going to be an awesome father just based on the way you care about fans and anyone else you may meet!
That intro jam is seriously beautiful
That Scallon signature is sick
Lee's playing on the opening jam was orgasmic
These two amps are like having a got dang propane grill when you're a vegan.
Hank Hill you can grill s lot of things besides meat.
Hank Hill yup yup yup hmmm yep
The Last Rebel Show Yeah you can, but you'd still be a got dang vegan.
Hank Hill I'm ok with that :)
well said hank, have a beer
These amps are a big time home run for Orange and guitar players all over the world. They sound great. The 10" speakers really work with both amps.
Dora iz glave a Nice clean sound tone?
Does it have a Nice clean tone?
@@josipskrivanic2790 Yes it does. Very nice
Cap may not be the fastest or most technical dude, but he always brings some sweet melodies to the table.
I would be very disappointed if ever a mug is put down and there is no smash sound!
Shit, there was one in that video? I think I've gotten so used to that sound that I don't even recognize it anymore.
That word, "clean", I do not think it means what you think it means
Nothing Lion lol
and clean doesn't mean what you think, so it goes both ways.
Definitely use headphones with this video... I went back and listened to it again with headphones .... Glad that I did !
His hat should have said Bah-Humbucker
Haha thought the same thing. Someone should make a hat or shirt of it..
westofreaches Welp, ya beat me to that comment by 6 months. XD
westofreaches I kept thinking that!
Oh, I thought it did say that!
rob playing cleans with the stero delay is so beautiful
7:47 probably the best riffage I've ever heard from Rob that was fucking beautiful
All Kinds sounded Steve vai ish great effects o
Chris Montgomery Ha ha I thought it was only me that didn't dig the Schecter Headstocks...lol
Some look like Devil horns and some .. who knows what...
Coma Toes some schecter look amazing. They do have some uglier guitars but I love their black cherry finish, and their matte finishes look fine.
Robs playing is just phenomenal. I like when Bea is in the episodes tho he's the James to your Richard and Jeremy.
Damn, Capt. Lee ... that intro solo was impressive
That intro jam is serious! Nice phrasing from El Capitan.
This is by far the best jam yet, chappers teach me your ways
Rob could literally create and play soundtracks for hollywood films. Phenomonal guitar playing.
that intro was fackn beautiful
The original Orange Rocker 30 they only made for a limited time back in the day was truly stellar. I should have bought it when I had the chance.
the les paul sounds amazing through this amp
That's what I was thinking. The tone that came out of that amp with the Les Paul made my brain freaking melt.
@@BlutigeTranen Yeah the smaller one actually sounded bigger with the LP
Man, Lee's blues playing is getting so damned tasty. That phrasing was phenomenal.
It's like when Kirk Hammett really wants to solo, but they're playing "Whiskey In the Jar" so he has to just play rhythm while James solos.
Will the snake oil guitar effects have motor driven knobs to simulate knob creeper Lee twiddling with them all the time?
Best amp I ever had. Can get any tone out of that thing
Just played one of these in my local shop today. these things are pretty awesome! It sounded great even though I didn't get to crank it up.
That clean is all the clean you need. The rest is pedals.
The 1x10 is where it's at imo
Rob's lick, 8:30 - 9:00 ... Felt as though I was witnessing an alien landscape, while flying a spaceship in 'slow motion'... That was some trip, totally awesome! 😎
Woah, Rob your playing on this is particularly phenomenal!
I can keep my Mesa/Boogie at Home and Gig with these!
BACK: SAVED!!!😆👍
Picked my Orange Amp Rocker 32 and am grateful for your amazing videos! Keep rockin' !
Orange amps are amazing! The lead tone from 7:30 to 8:01 is absolutely glorious! The 15 by itself at 15:22 sounds freakin awesome too. I want one so bad! Lol
I'm so glad Orange brought back the Rocker, sounds awesome.
wow, I think it's time to buy an Orange!
I replaced Ade Emsley the designer at Orange, as a guitarist in a band after he had left. This was
about 24 years ago. I got to meet Ade a few times, and one time he

Guy is an amp genius :)
Yay! Another amp I can't afford! #TheLifeOfABrokeGuitarPlayer
Vinnie Smith Don't
Jet city JCA22 custom head
Theres a big event at my guitar store this month where everything is cheaper. I might even have enough money to afford a pick!
Richard Harrold Shameful
Are these comments a form of British slang which I'm supposed to know but I don't? xD
That intro jam was one of the best they've done
Not sure how the amp sounds alone, but with the effects Rob used it sounds absolutely HUGE
Whoa these are pretty sweet- I have a rockerverb 50 (original run) and it's crazy how different these sound. Citrus goodness all around!
hi chappers, hi captain, i am watching your videos for quite a while. Very informing, very funny...please keep on doing that stuff as long as you can, its great. Thank you for all your efforts. You are very lucky to check all those guitars and amps. But I indulge that. Again, thanks and have a nice 2017!
Probably my favourite intro to one of your videos ever!
Cheap way to do a stereo rig, and you can tell by Rob's playing that it is inspiring af to sit in front of
Best sound ever in an Andertons vid! It made me break out my Sennheiser headphones for a re-listen.
stax bro
Clayton Duguay Size
From 20:08, spot on, blokes. From an American, thanks for a few seconds of your wonderfulness. The guy's name is Mad Dog James Mattis, by the way. And the amps ain't bad, either.
2:11 A bit of cough-ee, hmm? :D
KhronX Get out!
Make me... x)
KhronX yo, its just a joke, bro
Mine too, hence the smiley :P
the last couple of jams have been absolutely amazing. so unique
That first minute jam must be the most tasty thing i've listened so far from both of you.
The intro got me chills, wow.
Those volume swells were brilliant Rob......... I love the sounds that come out of that amp.......
rob's playing at 8 mins is of a lifetime player
Lee that intro was unreal cant believe i havent seen this
"Yousician is the best way to learn guitar"
Bzorlan 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I picked up the bass a while ago...
lmao ^
I don't know how we ever got along w/o it...
"were all born musical" strums sg on a wall
Beautiful tone Orange one of the best amps out there even the none tube are incredible
Way to go Cap'n! NICE sustain there! You're sounding really good on that Les Paul, seems to bring something extra out!
One of your best intros to me. Especially from robs side👍🏼
Nothing sounds better than an excess of Tubes/Valves... They are smaller versions of the old Master Volume Marshall's.. The best sound to this day.....
It's why I switched my amp section to an Axe Fx. Sounds great both in my apartment and when I play through a few thousand watts of a PA.
That was a v cool opening jam...
21:20 This advice is so true. People still can't help themselves though, even if they know it. That 3% of the time when they can unleash the amp at full power counts!
OK Rob's playing was actually beautiful there.
Those cleans sounded heavenly!
oh ok I like the clean too. very nice versatile amp and LOVE the stereo effects loop. I think this is what I've been wanting for many years
Some good playing there.
You guys cracked me up today!!! The best analogies ever... Greetings from Texas, USA :-) Great review too!! Thank you
The Captain KILLS on this video!!!!
has a much smoother higher gain than I expected. I wish yall had shown the clean channel as clean as u can get.....
It doesn't matter how super great sounds in a bedroom. The amp shines for small gigs..
That opening jam was sick!
Sounds really good ! Rob is use to setting up an orange amp for sure since that's what he started out using!
It's the "Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch," trying to take out a bunny rabbit.
To paraphrase, "Its amps like this that cause unrest" LOL! Now seriously, how do you put a Budgie down?
This guitar intro made by the capitan is amazing!!!
has the captain been practicing? nice intro solo mate
What a beautiful Lespaul the Captain is playing
Rocker 15 is the most exciting Orange amp I've seen so far ... man I've got GAS bad now :)
not gonna lie, I revisited chapmans jam like 3 times....He explored some serious sonic spaces there, jesus. that was awesome
Love Captain's Les Paul.
I saw the vid with Matt and TTK....good on Matt for handling himself the way he did! TTK was completely disrespectful and shoved the camera in his face saying "tell the camera why we can't come in"......then TTK goes and says how respectful he was and he would have just "turned it off" if asked.
Captain, your playing is awesome... Keep improving
that riff chappers played in the intro was soothing as fuck!
Just bought one of the Rocker 32's... Not here yet, but this demo vid has me pretty excited. Oh, and Rob's noodling would be my greatest creation if I could...dang it Rob.

That Scallon guitar is gorgeous. And now I can finally get a proper Orange amp to be dirty with my clean Vox. :D
I love that they're effectively just jamming over Wicked Game for 25 minutes. Don't blame them. I do it all the time.
That was an absolutely AMAZING jam!
that les paul sounds amazing!! daaaaang!
Damn just that opening with the reverb sounding so good. Been on the shelf of picking on of these up but this weekend I may scoop one up
Get this Rocker 32, chuck the tens and run this into a set of 212s. I'm using a PPC212 and a harley benton 212 and it is sooo lush. Not a big fan of those VOTW speakers, but this is a killer amp and one of the few stereo rigs you can get your meathooks on
Man that stereo tone from that amp sounds good......
These are fantastic. I have a British made Rocker30 and I love mine.
Does anyone know when the Xmas Kemper winners are announced?
Boogie Woogie962 I'm just glad those elves let chappers go lol
guys please, don't use reverbs and delays non-stop when doing rewievs. ok use it but please do it also not efected signal (clean, dirty). I think orange are my favorite amps currently have a blackstar id15 tvp but when ever I get a bigger amp I'm leaning towards orange for that awesome crunch they have.
the rocker is back! I love my old rocker30
I'll love if Chapman Guitars could feature Jescar Stainless Jumbo frets....
2:02 rob's necklace is louder than these amps throughout most of this video
10:09 sounds like it came straight off a Tool album and I fucking love it. Please, Rob, do more of this stuff in the future for your Dorje material!
