"Of course, I never go half power in the bedroom" needs to be a Lee Anderton signature t-shirt, mug and everything else! And there has to be a picture of him leaning over his shoulder just like that too. I'm quite literally crying with laughter :D
Yeah! The Chaps and The Caps is back baby! If no one else is bored of just regular demo's yet then maybe it's just me. But I play guitar, listen to music and watch demos. I actually also use gear believe it or not. So I know what gear sounds like. What I like is opinions of buddies who play guitar, talk shit and fuck up when they're playing. Chaps&Caps is best when they're just hanging out. #NeverHalfPowerInTheBedroom
Really like that Rocker 15 Terror. Especially with that Les Paul. A bit of the 'sweet evil.' I had also thought an Orange wasn't ideal for Cleans, but Mary Spender bought one and proved me wrong. Lovely, what she gets out of hers.
Orange cleans are massively underrated. The Dark Terror has truly awesome cleans which you'd certainly never associate with that amp. You just couldn't push the volume to anywhere near gig levels and stay clean.
Love the Hotrod, bring it back. I love seeing Chapman guitars in the vids. If your doing a demo on a specific brand of guitars why not use a Chapman. Love these amps but wish they had a dedicated line out for recording and a silent mode. Other brands are offering it it is price range.
I don't know if this is possible, but could Chapman bring back the Hot Rod and make it the most affordable model from the Pro Series? You know, cause it's a simpler guitar, it could be sort of a bridge between the standard and pro ranges.
Lee, you're killing it today! Normally it's perfectly safe for me to listen to Chappers and the Captain while I work, but not today! "I never go half power in the bedroom!" Deadly.
Love the show guys, can we please see a blindfold shootout between expensive squier and cheap fender for unusual models? You did strats once but i''d love to see one for thinline teles, Jags, etc.
People are always going to complain. If you still don't know how Chappers and the Captain play and are still surprised then you're either ignorant or a fool. Please Lee and Rob make a standard version of the hot rod! I missed the Korean one from 2015!
Really like that hot rod Chapman in the natural color. It would be a great addition as a super low price entry model too. No fancy decorations. Just wood, wammy and wailing!
A few years back you reviewed the OR15H and really liked it. How would you compare that with the crunch channel of the Rocker 15 Terror head? Are they similar in gain? Is one more vintage sounding than the other? I don't need the clean channel of the Rocker 15 but the "bedroom" option sounds appealing for when I don't want to disturb family. Thank-you!
I'm seriously considering that Rocker Terror. Used to have a Tiny Terror and seriously miss it! Besides it comes with a nice bag so it's easy to take along to band practice.
Kinda surprised you guys don't quickly plug them into a two notes torpedo/captor and crank the crap out of them just to hear the cranked-ness. Love the reviews as always though. Going to be picking up an orange tube amp soon!
nice lunchboxes, have to check them out when they land in CH. Quick question, how can you stand the volume of the sound during takes, as I would become deaf in a glimpse if playing these setups at home, besides having the neighbors knocking at the door, whom I would not answer, being deafened ;-)
Love the old Chapman guitar -- would be cool to see it re-released. That said, I'm not super into single-pickup guitars, but that's me. Could be neat with a high output single coil sized pickup in the neck for a bit more versatility.
How does the dirty channel of the Rocker 15 Terror compare to the OR15H? Is it similar in voicing or more modern compared to the OR15H which I think is more vintage crunch sounding?
I don't judge a guitar amp starting with gain tone. I start with clean and then consider gain after. An amp with a bad clean tone will usually have a bad gain tone too. That's not always true, but it's true enough to be a good rule of thumb. That's what Ive got.
I think if you bring the hotrod back, you should do it with a cliche, over-the-top hotrod finish. For example, a black finish with the traditional looking hotrod flames and/or a matte black finish with some sort of skull design, etc. Thanks for all of the great content!
Ok so now I have to step on my ego and ask what is the song Rob plays at the very beginning. Seen them play it quite a few times, I also likely listened to the song already but I can't trace it back to what it is. Thanks!
6:02 they only retired the Tiny Terror, the rest of the Terror range (Dual Terror, Dark Terror, Micro Terror, Jim root Terror) are still very much in production.
Nice amps, with some great new features... but the fact you don’t get the foot switch with it is a bit of a downer. Plus £659 for that 2x12 cab seems a bit pricey. I suppose you don’t have to buy that cabinet for it but still...
Micro Dark is under $200. It has an effects loop and if you aren't in to high gain you can swap a 12AU7 in for the 12AX7 and it makes it more of a medium gain crunchy amp. Also, when you move to a bigger amp you can keep it in the pouch of a gig bag as a backup amp. I would however avoid the little cabinet that most places try to sell you with it.
Orange really is the best solo guitar tone, I love the sound of a guitar through an orange by itself. I'm using a marshall DSL100HR which I love and is more midrangey so better for full mix situations. When I had my orange it sounded amazing by itself but in a mix it had way more bass then other British amps do. I'm not saying one is better than the other, they are both incredible amps with their own uses and sounds. I should add that I love my Marshall and won't ever part ways with it but I will be getting another orange amo eventually. Even my micro terror sounded wonderful. When I got my marshall DSL100HR it was between that and an orange TH30 and either would have made me happy. Due to cost though when I do get another orange I'll probably end up with an OR15 new or a TH30 used which reverb usually has plenty of.
What is the matrix? Hotrod Chappers looks great BUT it needs nickel hardware and a headstock that's the proper way round rather than the upside down Tele look!
"Of course, I never go half power in the bedroom" needs to be a Lee Anderton signature t-shirt, mug and everything else! And there has to be a picture of him leaning over his shoulder just like that too. I'm quite literally crying with laughter :D
Stuart Carden yea i would buy that
"Shut up and take my money." I'd buy one of Everything you put that phrase on :)
orange amps should have that on their website as a quote...
Lee "I Never Go Half Power In The Bedroom" Anderton, I nearly died.
haha that troll face when he turned around to say this. jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesus
Me too it was just beauty lol
The Captain working on too little sleep apparently but killing it!
That was legendary xD
"I never go half power in the bedroom" quote of the year so far
13:29 wholegain cereal
14:54 tom quail eggs
18:42 half power in the bedroom
Chappers: Petes away so this a pretty PC video
Lee: Hold my beer...
Man, that new child of yours really boosted the amount of dad jokes Lee.
I for one am happy
His dad joke game is on fleek
@@GrimKage What is a fleek?
@@GravyHucker bruh
I'd love to see the British standard series in the up coming videos!
yes
dont worry mate they wont miss any chance to do a vid on chapmans haha
Mark Johnson this guy knows what the fuck is up lol
Yeah! The Chaps and The Caps is back baby!

Why was the hotrod discontinued? Bring it back, it's a great guitar
Orange cleans are massively underrated. The Dark Terror has truly awesome cleans which you'd certainly never associate with that amp. You just couldn't push the volume to anywhere near gig levels and stay clean.
Oh shit, what’s this on my guitar, tone knobs? Wtf?
You should make a Bassbreaker 15 vs DSL20 vs Rocker 15 Terror video! That would be awesome! 🤘
Captain "youre living out your miserable lives" damn captain hit to close to home
foreshadowing for 2020? lol
Horay! A terror with a 3 band EQ and a more Marshall plexi voiced sound according to Ade. The Brent Hinds is my dream amp.
Love the Hotrod, bring it back. I love seeing Chapman guitars in the vids. If your doing a demo on a specific brand of guitars why not use a Chapman. Love these amps but wish they had a dedicated line out for recording and a silent mode. Other brands are offering it it is price range.
Yes Hot Rod and original ML-1
Hot rod baritone hardtail
This video need MORE HOT ROD.
I don't know if this is possible, but could Chapman bring back the Hot Rod and make it the most affordable model from the Pro Series? You know, cause it's a simpler guitar, it could be sort of a bridge between the standard and pro ranges.
Artec619 and in fixed bridge
Having another kid is making Captain get into heavier tones
Soon he'll be the one asking for Rob to crank the gain
And he's been using the whammy bar too! There goes the neighborhood!
Lee, you're killing it today! Normally it's perfectly safe for me to listen to Chappers and the Captain while I work, but not today! "I never go half power in the bedroom!" Deadly.

Dhruv Kotecha thank you bro 😂😂😂
Dhruv Kotecha
PFFFFFFF
"O-ranjé amplifi-cacione" made me laugh ridiculously hard. Love you guys.
I never thought I’d really want an orange amp, I like them, but I love that rocker.
Hey I'm from Cynchala! Glad that you guys like our local product :D
Rob - "We're all about Little Baby Bum and Peppa Pig at my house"
I fell ya, mate.
Kvelertak from Norway uses Orange and their songs sounds absolutely awesome!
yes please bring it back!
“Or-anya” 😂😂 I’m bout to start calling orange that all the time lol
Yes please, bring it back
I always go half power in the bedroom. For my wife’s sake
Yeah. That's what she told me......
I always go half mast in the bedroom. For my wifes best friend's sake.
They should bring it back along with the Norseman....... Also liked the Capt Lee model.
Hard tail hot rod with low out put humbucker or p90. That'd be the way.
Really like that hot rod Chapman in the natural color. It would be a great addition as a super low price entry model too. No fancy decorations. Just wood, wammy and wailing!
Looking for vids about Orange amps, found this, great video ... great playing, great bad banter ... bring those back ...
I loved seeing the Hot Rod. Please bring it back.
When will we see the new marshall Origin amp in stock? I'm keen to hear your thoughts.
at 18:42 is a miniature beach ball 🤣🤣 Great amp!!

It'd be truly great if the Hot Rod were brought back with various pickup options upon ordering (Bare Knuckle, Seymour Duncan, etc.)
I'm seriously considering that Rocker Terror. Used to have a Tiny Terror and seriously miss it! Besides it comes with a nice bag so it's easy to take along to band practice.
Yes, definitely bring back the Chapman hotrod! I wanted one, but they are no more, and please bring back the Rabea ML1, love that guitar!
18:45 - "of course I never go half power in the bedroom". Killer Captain Quote
i love the single pickup look
That neck on the v looks huge. Last time I saw such a wide neck I was looking at corpsegrinder pics
13:49 Rory never ceases to be the best
Kinda surprised you guys don't quickly plug them into a two notes torpedo/captor and crank the crap out of them just to hear the cranked-ness. Love the reviews as always though. Going to be picking up an orange tube amp soon!
I think you should use more of Chapman guitars, please. And, I don't know if I'm not updated but, when will be affordable 7 strings Chapman joy?
Rob's opening jam around the two-minute mark was niiiiiiiice.
nice lunchboxes, have to check them out when they land in CH. Quick question, how can you stand the volume of the sound during takes, as I would become deaf in a glimpse if playing these setups at home, besides having the neighbors knocking at the door, whom I would not answer, being deafened ;-)
That second jam sounded like “Heart On a String”
Great video guys
The mastodon intro was a nice touch
That Brent Hinds Flying V is the coolest guitar currently in production. Ridiculous value for money!
YES BRING IT BACK PLEEEEASE + the first reabea signature, the orange one :D
Love the old Chapman guitar -- would be cool to see it re-released. That said, I'm not super into single-pickup guitars, but that's me. Could be neat with a high output single coil sized pickup in the neck for a bit more versatility.
Yes PLEASE bring the hot rod back. Its a great guitar and a true shame that its discontinued
havent even finish the video but god damn that editing dis hahaha. Very good 😂
On the topic of 15W heads... Are you going to do a Playthrough of MT15? Or Bea or someone?
Lee must be tired! He's on fire with the jokes! I love it!
🤣🤣🤣
How does the dirty channel of the Rocker 15 Terror compare to the OR15H? Is it similar in voicing or more modern compared to the OR15H which I think is more vintage crunch sounding?
I want one of each of the Terrors, thank you lol. Just one of each is fine!
Joss’s laugh.....😂
Brilliant 👍🏻
id love to see the Hod Rod available - not many guitars out there designed for DIY/after-custom work, to be made wel, and affordable
How do they compare to the OR15? These are the same price with more features...why?
It is Maddie on Cbeebies. Maddie's awesome. Also, she was a youtuber before TV.
Great tone, and good playing chaps!
Sounds incredible
These amps sound fantastic!!!!
I don't judge a guitar amp starting with gain tone. I start with clean and then consider gain after. An amp with a bad clean tone will usually have a bad gain tone too.
That's not always true, but it's true enough to be a good rule of thumb.
That's what Ive got.
I love that Chapman hotrod guitar. I would dig if you made a esquire style switching with one pickups
I think if you bring the hotrod back, you should do it with a cliche, over-the-top hotrod finish. For example, a black finish with the traditional looking hotrod flames and/or a matte black finish with some sort of skull design, etc. Thanks for all of the great content!
That first riff was blood and thunder by Mastodon
What was Chappers response to Caps 1/2 power in the bedroom comment? Fuego auto dwee? What does that mean? Really funny moment though!
The two Epiphone guitars I have (Riviera P93 and 1966 G-400 Pro SG) came with 10s. I’ll trade them for that Les Paul though even if it has 9s.
Would give anything to meet these two
yes bring it back scalloped👍,got one, love it.
"Ola amigos" hahaha liked it Lee!
Ok so now I have to step on my ego and ask what is the song Rob plays at the very beginning. Seen them play it quite a few times, I also likely listened to the song already but I can't trace it back to what it is. Thanks!
Mastodon - Blood and Thunder
6:02 they only retired the Tiny Terror, the rest of the Terror range (Dual Terror, Dark Terror, Micro Terror, Jim root Terror) are still very much in production.
Why don't amps with a FX loop have a 9v power out?
deeply dissapointed I heard the peavey invective has just that. Check out the NAMM video with Misha!
I’d love to see the Hot Rod back in the range! Wasn’t in the market the last time it was in the catalog.
Nice amps, with some great new features... but the fact you don’t get the foot switch with it is a bit of a downer. Plus £659 for that 2x12 cab seems a bit pricey. I suppose you don’t have to buy that cabinet for it but still...
I love the sound of an orange amps i wish i could get one ahaha
autistic allen get a orange crush pro. Solid state, their awesome!
I love the sound of agent orange in the morning...
Micro Terror is quite inexpensive.
CR120H is great for under $500
Micro Dark is under $200. It has an effects loop and if you aren't in to high gain you can swap a 12AU7 in for the 12AX7 and it makes it more of a medium gain crunchy amp. Also, when you move to a bigger amp you can keep it in the pouch of a gig bag as a backup amp. I would however avoid the little cabinet that most places try to sell you with it.
autistic allen micro terror!
Came here to hear the Blood and Thunder riff, was not disappointed
Hot rod needs to be back in the Chapman range and it would be sick if it was at standard range prices. I don't actually know what it used to sell for
How would you say the Brent Hinds compares to an OR15?
Orange really is the best solo guitar tone, I love the sound of a guitar through an orange by itself. I'm using a marshall DSL100HR which I love and is more midrangey so better for full mix situations. Could you maybe add an option for dot inlays on chapman guitars? I’m just not a fan of that infinity inlay.
Love that t-shirt Rob has on. "Save the zebras"!
Really love the new terror. DAMN
Is this the same amp as the Orange Rocker 15 combo?
Man that Bare Knuckle sounded single coilish, and I mean that in a good way :D So clear 👌🏻
What is the matrix?
Hotrod Chappers looks great BUT it needs nickel hardware and a headstock that's the proper way round rather than the upside down Tele look!
Really looking forward to seeing Marshall's new Origin series demoed!
Nice cheeky bit of Sgt.Peppers there, now I need a Strat...
How about doing a Review of a Mojo Tone Lerxst. Would like to see how they stack up.
Go Lee - yer doing a good job at the end there
half power in the bedroom is better then being on standby!! Lmao
Liking the Rocker 15.
