After 2 weeks and an overload of boring information and evidence here is what they actually have against Michelle: 1. Touch dna on the oustide of a trash bag that likely came for her house from a box she opened and used before may 24th. (The state could not confirm where the bag came from...so far). 2. The messiest interviews in the history of interviews with an annoying, nervous wreck with verbal diarrea and zero filter who has only ONE consistent statement across the board: She thought Jennifer was evil, unstable and hiding to torture them (parroting Fotis). 3. Her saying to Pawel in anger "Jennifer should be buried next to the dog" while Fotis bitterly dispaired about Jennifer not allowing the children to say goodbye to their dog... and that "she would kill that FB when she came out of hiding" (again consistent with her belief Jennifer was hurting them on purpose by hiding somewhere). 4. And the fake alibi she recanted by the second interview (we have yet to see the third). So far if I were a juror I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving another child without her mother based on what they have presented. Imo the interviews point at her being battling the thought of Fotis being able to do something like this, which btw Pawel expressed today too when he is going against his gut feeling while taking off the seats of the Tacoma thinking there is no way Fotis could that. If there isn't a HUGE bombshell coming up maybe some jurors can believe she had to at least suspect about the contents of the bags, or believe she knew Fotis had something to do with it when she gave him a fake alibi or that she was played like a fiddle by this man who used her as a prop. That would be their prerrogative.... But for Michelle actually co planning Jennifer's murder...they have SILCH.
You don't have a clue what evidence they have. It's not over and they haven't finished or ruled on it. Your opinion means ZILCH. This poor man finally went over all the small odd things about Dulos and in the end, the sum of them made him fearful that they might think he was involved, Dulos would have him killed or he'd lose his immigration status. DA charged lame charges they knew they wouldn't pursue. It was an attempt to get him to tell them whatever little bits he knew. When he did, charges disappeared. MT could have gotten a sweet plea deal but turned it down tell LE where JD's body and the evidence is (while Dulos was still alive) and she walks free with no charges. These deals are routinely made when police are still formulating who and why committed this crime.
I am not sure if this witness is being completely honest. For example, was he nervous when he saw all the police at the Cul de sac? That is something you would remember, right? He also says too many times that he cannot remember things, not certain about that.
If one is uncertain, need to say don’t recall or do not remember. He is saying at times plausible which may be an okay answer. The defense attorney is trying to get him to say things he doesn’t remember.
