This is a good man who was taken advantage of by Fotis Dulos. Dulos underestimated him tho and didn’t realize this guy was onto him and didn’t fall for his lies. He was totally being set up for this crime. Good for him for not blindly believing and falling for the criminal acts of Dulos.

The way I am understanding this situation as him being granted immunity is on the fact that he did not tell the investigators about his involvement with removing the seats, and the things that Fotis was telling him to do with the seats and things he heard at times MT say about Jennifer, and again at that time all of this happened he said he wasn’t sure what to think, and he didn’t think Fotis was that kind of person to harm Jennifer and that the things MT said he thought was just out of anger and or trying to make Fotis feel better!!! But in hindsight he didn’t realize that 5 years later he would be having to testify in court!!! So I do believe that he’s telling the truth and I don’t think that his green card was an issue until Fotis made him believe that!!!

Something worse than his green card was actually at stake here, his freedom! He was literally threatened by police to be charged with hindering a murder investigation if he didn't produce information against Fotis and Michelle....so there is that.

    • @fernandaolivares7926
      @fernandaolivares7926 8 місяців тому +6

I agree he is telling the truth, but the real issue here is the fact he was offered immunity from being charged of hindering a murder investigation (way worse than losing your green card btw) if he produced information to tie MT and FD to the crime.
Fair enough he had a lot of information about Fotis, most importantly the camera conversation which happened over a month before the disappearance. (Btw we still don't know why if Pawel says he never thought Fotis would do something like this to Jennifer, then why did he tell him not to do "something stupid in the camera conversation"?)
Alas for Michelle, for the life of him he only had two comments made in anger in two situations where she believed Jennifer was hurting the people she loved...incidentaly one of those comments was actually consistent wih her ONE consistent statement from day one: she believed Jennifer was hiding and torturing them.
And Pawel said today he actually believed the same thing.... so did everyone around Fotis apparently.
So I think the case against Fotis is looking great for the prosecution but he one against Michelle, so far....not at all. I don't know who would leave another kid without their mother over the evidence that has been presented, if a were a juror I wouldn't feel confident yet...
Also when my best friend was cheated on by her husband "I cheered" her up saying maybe he would fall off a cliff when he went climbing with his mistress"...so yeah, we ALL say, think pretty stupid stuff when our loved ones are hurt. Anyone who has never done that, raise your hand.

Are you talking about the Prosecutor or the Defense Attorney.
The prosecutor is hindered by the many many objections this irritating defense attorney is constantly calling just to prevent, exclude, limit key testimony by the witness/ess.
That is why the prosecuting attorney has to be simple and slow as he navigates his questions to establish facts and evidence for the jury to deliberate.
Remember - prosecutors present evidence and testimony for the jury to be convinced without a reasonable doubt that the defendant is guilty.
The defense lawyer’s role is to poke holes into the witnesses testimonies and to object testimony and evidence that could be sustained.

My whole problem with Weather MT knew about what Fotis did to Jennifer is the fact that she lied about what she and Fotis did that day, now being a nieve girlfriend or not, if I had nothing to hide as far as participating in any nefarious activity, I would have told the truth about the day!! About them being in the shower together at 6:45 am, which as not true, giving him an alibi. And she failed to mention anything about being in Hartford dumping garbage bags, which she said she had done before in the past with Fotis just in a different area. So again my question is, if you had absolutely nothing to do with it, why would you lie?? Because either you knew that he did it and you helping him out by withholding the information or you had a hard in it and are lying because you are scared.

Or here is a third posibility:
Because you wholeheartedly believed Jennifer was hiding to hurt Fotis and take his children away....
It is the one statement she was consistent with from day one.
Look at Pawel, he said he believed the same thing until a week later he suddenly realized something was wrong and instead of going to the police he started to to look for new trucks... he even told Fotis not to do something stupid over a month before the crime and never warned Jennifer or acted on it. "Maybe the man I know and love is plannig to murder the mother of his kids" is no one's first thought.
Don't get me wrong, I believe Pawel is innocent, but sometimes people do things that in hindsight they truly cannot explain.
      They both effed up.
But Pawel was lucky to get immunity and not to suffer from verbal diarrea like Michelle 😮

      @fernandaolivares7926 8 місяців тому +3

@@ShayEdle She did give a reason though, many times in fact, and it was probably the ONE consistent statement in all her messy interviews: she believed Jennifer was alive and hiding to torture Fotis and take his kids away.
Some might believe her, some might not, so the hindering and the tampering are a posibility with a big reasonable doubt....but there is ZERO evidence she helped him plan this which is the biggest charge.
But remember she didn't know Michelle was even missing during the bag disposal by the time there was so much evidence that Jennifer was dead she recanted her alibi for Fotis.
Pawel also believed Jennifer was alive until he started suspecting a week later and what did he do? Changed the seats and started looking for a new truck...one never knows how one could react faced with the horrific situation someone you trust is a murderer and you have been played.

What did you mean by "something stupid"
Was he showing the camera guy actual photos of Jennifer's house?
Did you ask how/when he got them?
How many times is your understanding Fotis went to the site in New Cannan in the months prior to the crime?
How did Fotis talked about Jennifer?
When did he first tell you Jennifer was probably hiding?
Did you tell anyone about your suspicion about Fotis and your truck?
Did it ever cross your mind you were being framed? When and why?
Was saying something that could implicate Michelle part of the immunity agreement?
Would you still get immunity if you didn't come up with something against Michelle?
To your understanding what was the evidence the police had against you to charge you with hindering or tampering?
Did you ever had any reason to doubt anythig Fotis ever told you?
Did you believe him to regularly lie? Did you ever see him lie?
