When Ryan does the voices during the re-writes i always think “man, he does such a good impression of those guys!”
Yeah, he probably could do the whole thing alone.
I legit found myself impressed at how well he performed as Producer guy. Then 10 seconds later I figured it out.
Amen! I loved the "Yeah, yeah, yeah!" and the "So you have a movie for me?" It was great.
Right! Redoing the voices is TIGHT!
Same!

@@TheNinthGenerarion thanks
funny i watch this video just before this one
Oh, the irony
@@TheNinthGenerarionlol on point
Every time I watch Ryan edit his google docs, it feels like watching a master wood-worker restore an old piece of furniture. It's fascinating to watch and see the growth that has occurred over the years.
Calm down.
@@ConeJellos Uh oh, it's the comment police.
@@Hexen_Wulf ACAB includes the comment police.
For real, I couldn't believe how good his new draft was, just on the spot like that.
Oh, master woodworkers are tight!
Doing the voices during the rewrite makes that section soooo much better. Makes it more like he’s adding new jokes to experience, not just typing in a Google Doc
YES
Watching you edit your script in real time is like watching a great magic trick, seeing pure comedy come to life instantly. Please keep this segment in all your revisits!
See, the filming, the image and editing aren’t necessary, just film yourself writing and we’re all laughing already.
@@antoy384 Good to know!
Ikr?? It also shows just how much better he's gotten at this and how naturally it comes to him
FOR REAAAAAL
google doc segment is brilliant, it provides an opportunity for jokes that didn't make it or that were thought of later, while giving an insight into the process and how you have improved at the same time.
It is also a great resource for people who want to learn writing
And one thing it does is show how much the writing, the acting and editing has improved. The Google Docs section is wonderful.
ABSOLUTELY
"if you make a mistake, people WILL point it out" - says a guy who points out mistakes and inconsistencies for a living

I find it totally awesome that Ryan does everything on this channel by himself. The acting, the writing, the editing, the filming. Really impressive! And he keeps getting better.
The "F**k you message" to Sony in the rewriting section caught me off guard 😂😂😂
yeah, seems Ryan likes Helldivers. :D
Very appropriate i'd say
Ryan makes me laugh out loud in every video he does, that got me good
Subverting expectations, making people laugh since 1998000 BC
this, and it should have been followed up with a Bat Man joke somehow
The Birdman joke was brilliant, you're right to be proud of it.
I don't get it
Edit: just got to the part where he explained it
@@tokagekithey cast Michael Keaton (Batman) as a Birdman.
Edit: never mind, got it wrong.
At first I thought he was referring to Chris ´Birdman’ Andersen and I thought that was a really obscure reference.
I'm still proud of the laughs I got at my local theater when, at the end of the movie, I stood up and proclaimed I enjoyed "Spider-Man vs Batman"...
Also surprised how many people didn't get the Birdman reference. It won Best Picture!
@@theotakux5959 I've actually never watched it, or even heard about it til til now.
Ryan’s like ‘nah nah nah sister, you ain’t getting me to no secondary location’
Watching every pitch meeting and then watching every one again revisited is TIGHT
I like watching these older ones and seeing how Producer Guy and Writer Guy got more and more unhinged over time. They’re generally calmer and more restrained in the earlier ones.
I think you underestimate how much fun the Google docs editing scenes are. Really enjoy it.
Who is this guy? His impressions of Writer Guy and Producer Guy is spot on! Good work!
You don't know? Its Ryan from the thing you where watching at some point 2 weeks ago.
Love the rewrites, we basically get 2 for one pitch meetings. A fresh and evolved take.
Love the google docking, it's like an extra pitch meeting
It is so good to witness how the magic happens.

The comedic timing is really important 🤣
God, that moment was gold 😂
Showing how you would rewrite these old Pitch Meetings is TIGHT!
omg this “live re-writing” format is sooo much more work for him than previous ‘Revisited’ videos.. but ITS SO 👏 GOOD 👏
i love the google doc sections so much i am at the point where i wish you would re-do your older pitch meetings .. that obelisk joke is tight!
He could have a patreon or paid tier here where he posts remakes
I like that you shifted from just you talking to over-exagering the character voices you use in later episodes. This made them a lot more interesting.
I think it reflects a lot of evolution if both you and the fans can see an old pitch meeting, and figure out how current you would make it snappier
What these revisits make me realise is that I think it would be really fun to watch if you did a "remastered" of old pitch meetings, where you go back and remake the old pitch meetings with everything you've learned since, just to see how different and similar things would be.
"A bird man, I can work with that." Recently watched that movie, now I understand that reference. Or, to put it in other words: He said the thing!!!
I thought he was talking about Batman

This is my favourite rewrite section you've done! I think it really showed how you think things through. Got an insight into your mind... In a non-creepy way
Thank you for taking charge with the doccing, I'm new to this so I appreciate having a confident, experienced person show me how it's done. Truly a gentleman.
I LOVE the changes, especially Producer Guy shoehorning Iron Man in because "people like Iron Man," classic!

I love the insight into your though process the Google doc section gives us. Plus it's like an extra mini-pitch meeting as you're doing it! Thanks for all the laughs and I hope you and your family are well.
Love these pitch meetings and revisits. It gives a satisfying conclusion to older videos that didn't have all the catch phrases and mannerisms mastered yet.
Have you thought of doing more Pitch Meetings for TV shows? One of my favorites is Friends. It would be great to revisit classic shows, maybe even some old cartoons with ridiculous premises like Tale Spin or Johnny Bravo.
seems like Producer Guy and Writer guy grew up and chilled out a little.
I think it was due to that Dollar Sign stroke Producer Guy had, they both decided to take it a little easier after that.
"Iron Man comes to save the day."
"Is it smart for Spider-Man to always rely on Iron Man to do that?"
"Why not? It's not like Iron Man is going away anytime soon. I mean, he's not going to die. That would be crazy."
"Oh right, that WOULD be crazy."
My dude, you are absolutely my favorite UA-camr. Thank you so very much for all the laughs…and more than a few poignant insights into flicks I love.

Watching your re-writing was an absolute joy. It was magical to see you bring new life to the script.
Comparing this to your newest Rebel Moon 2 pitch meeting, you've definitely got your formula on point. It's nice to see the evolution of your characters, voices and witty remarks. Great channel!
Love the MJ drawing with the red hair 😂
Before I finish the video, “I’ll be so disappointed if you don’t draw Michael Jordan from the epic space jam”.
After the video. “I was not disappointed, you are good at the comedy and I’m good at seeing the punchline.”

The mistake of having Peter’s love interest falling from a tower…not because it doesn’t happen (again), but because the Washington Monument is actually an Obelisk, not a tower. 😂
Still my favorite bit from this Pitch Meeting.
Not only does this “revisit” transport me back seven years in time to when you made the original video, roughly 2-3 years before I discovered you on UA-cam (yes, it was I who discovered you!), but it also gives me added value in the form of your self-critique. And I’m really glad that you pointed out your mispronunciation of the word “debris” so that I didn’t have to mock you mercilessly for it. Very kind of ya!
1:52 that birdman reference had me dying 🤣
No matter how many times you revisit a pitch meeting...... never fails to make me laugh !!
But for Ryan(s) ...its barely an inconvenience !!

Thank you SO much for making these Mr. Ryan. Mr. George. Mr.. R.. Ge.. Mr. Pitch Meeting.
Love that you started doing the editing thing in these, it's cool seeing your writing process
Spider-Man is the epitome of doing a backflip, snapping the bad guys neck and saving the day.
Do you mean "snapping the bad guys' necks"...? My autocorrect loves surprising me with "corrections" that are actually typos that I don't notice until I've hit Send...
@@realbadger fixed.
@@realbadger No, he doesn’t. He means “…snapping the bad guy’s neck…” You misplaced the apostrophe and added a plural. Also, you mean “…surprising me…” not “…surprising my…” and you capitalised “…send…” but here it should remain uncapitalised.
Grammar Police, I know, but hey, I’m thorough.
@jeromevaleska2014 He corrected it. I'd thought it was bad guys plural (hence the correct placement of the apostrophe, as I suspected Next could sound like "necks" being misheard.
@@realbadger Haha, fair enough. Now what of the rest of the flaws I called out in your reply?
I feel like your re-writes section is improving as you go along, the way you are leaning more into doing the voices and almost acting it out, so that we get a good idea of how it would go if it were the actual pitch meeting. Which is really Meta, since the section that currently is improving is dealing with how you would improve the past content. Absolutely love it! I can envision you taking it even further, so that it almost becomes a remake of the first Pitch Meeting. I mean, remakes are all the rage, right?
I luv these re-writes, it really shows off your talent and process.
Commenting on the previous content is tight.

Oof the difference in quality then and now on that one is HUGE !
Honestly just even the tone and acting, the then video is awkward it's very "i just started". Now it's very "overacted" for comedy but in a good way and it works wayyyy better ! like the "Oh my God..." intonation you do now is way better !
definitely, comedy needs a bit of melodrama to work and Ryan has got that down to an exact science!
Hey Ryan, I love the clean setup you're rocking now! Your lighting and new mic is *chef's kiss* 🤌
I love the rewrite part. Your little readings of it is the icing on the cake.

Love your videos! Still waiting patiently for a malignant pitch meeting
I want a pitch meeting for The Room that ends with the producer guy kicking screenwriter guy out of his office because it sounds terrible and the screenwriter guy replying with “Screw you! I’ll just make it myself!”
I like the addition of Producer Guy forcing Iron Man into the script, studio notes are much more fitting for him and not for Writer Guy.
Love the rewrite section! I mean… I love your whole video. But I especially love the rewrite portion.
Love these re-visits and the re-write sections. It's fun to see how you would expand the dialogue and add more jokes. ☺
The thing with Ned seems…odd to me.
Like, him not having the best social awareness doesn’t clash with him being amazing at computer stuff. He’s more of a stereotype if anything, of a socially unaware nerd
Popped in my Head…you need to do a pitch meeting for the movie ARMAGEDDON!!

The Google Docs section of these videos are the BEST! Literally a short comedy writing lesson and I get the euphoria of seeing your jokes come to life in front of my eyes/ears!
I actually really liked the slower pace of the washington monument joke in the original. Sometimes newer pitch meetings can be painfully fast paced.
Is it bad that I want him to do Schindler’s List just so I can hear him say, “[Anything that happened in the movie] is TIGHT!”?
Yes. Especially if it's "little girls in red"
i still would love to see these reshot one day, glad to see you revisiting old work
Once you've done enough of these, I'd love a 2.0 or "Pitch Meeting: Redo" series, where you rerecord these with the updated scripts. Easy for you and it brings them up to date. Love your work Ryan!
The tower joke definitely needed tightening up, hehehehe, but listening to it first time around my main criticism of it would be explaining the joke too much.
"To make our film better than the old movies we'll have her fall from a different tower. It's a mistake. Is it? Yes it's an obelisk not a tower. Oh but you like the idea? Oh yeah I like the tower fall again thing."
Without a full rework I think it should have simply been:
"To make our film better than the old movies we'll have her fall from a different tower. It's a mistake. Is it? Yes it's an obelisk not a tower."
I feel in your later Pitch Meeting's you have learned to trust the audience a bit more to get the joke.
Accurately calling writing lazy is not a sin.
Just chiming in as a fellow writer to say I deeply appreciate those google doc sections. I love hearing your progression as you grow to understand your characters better. Thanks for all the fish, guy.
Why did the camera keep moving back and forth? That was a bit distracting... Great video as always though!! The rewrite was amazing. I love that you added that section

Hi Ryan, please do a Pitch Meeting for The Room l! I've been asking for 4 years!

Wow!
room is already a parody of itself, would be hard to make into pich meeting, imho.
@@imomedvidekplus, since the guy who starred in it also paid for it, wrote it, and directed it the pitch meeting would just be one guy pitching the movie to himself. Can you imagine?
