Ryan George: I'm gonna be a dad
Every subscriber and frequent viewer: oh wow wow wow wow..........wow!
Wow
We need to figure out a way to trap Ryan into responding to:
"New Dad, eh? That must be really difficult."
But… we already saw his kid on the other channel.
@@blindleader42actually it's going to be really easy! Barely an inconvenience!
@@jiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii oooooh, Baby Ryan is tight!
I can't wait for the Madame Webb Pitch Meeting, it'll probably be MORE entertaining than the actual movie.
You know goddamn well it will be.
Probably more people will watch it also
It's definitely a movie that exists...
Aren't ALL pitch meetings more entertaining than the actual movie?
@@amcconnell6730these days? Absolutely!
Telling everyone you're going to be a dad at the end of a video about Fifty Shades of Grey... I have no idea what you were thinking, you mad mad man. Congratulations!!!! Enjoy your time off!!!! We love and appreciate you 💕
Telling everyone you're going to be a dad at the end of a video about Fifty Shades of Grey is Tight!
“It doesn’t seem necessary to be vulgar” THANK YOU! It’s refreshing.
If only modern Trek felt that way... I'm okay with it in Lower Decks. That show was kinda billed as having it, anyway. (And they often bleep it, too, even though they don't have to.) But it still feels wrong having Admirals dropping f-bombs when talking to Picard...
Americans are _fascinating_
@@criticalbil1subtlety is an art
Agreed. I introduced my mother to Pitch Meetings when I was back home over summer 2023. We had a blast watching them. I would never have shown them if they were vulgar.
80-year-old moms can handle innuendo, just not F-bombs.
:(
"Madam Web rivals Morbius as a movie that exists."
Amazing.
Madame Web would be lucky af to get talked about as much as Morbius.
Yes. Morbius at least managed to birth some memes.
Morbius is truly a movie
Madame Web is definitely one of the movies of all time
Rivaling Morbius is TIGHT!!!
"rival Morbius as a movie that exists"😂😂😂
I'm ded 0:17 into this. Pause 🪦rewind
I can tell already that it's going to be a great video.
Pitch meetings after dark sounds like a fun idea but I do appreciate the family friendly aspect of your videos, it shows more effort and skill to be able to be funny without being vulgar!
Really, I’d want the same type of humor, doesn’t even need to be vulgar, just more adult oriented films.
I do appreciate the family friendly stuff.
I watch these with the kids a lot.
Sometimes we’re in the movies and it’s so bad that one of them lean over and whisper “I can’t wait to see the Pitch Meeting for this.”
my wife does that 😂
The "It did, didn't it" sketch is what made me a fan for life. 😆

The Ryan who just jams is a vibe
Ryan saying that he's revisiting 50 shades of gray in preparation for madam Webb feels like an admission that it's going to be painful and he has to get back in touch with his inner masochist 😂😂😂
Twister! A pitch meeting for Twister could be great fun. And it would be good prep for doing a pitch meeting for Twisters coming out this Summer.
Oo, any movie with questionable science would be great! There were a couple of volcano movies around that same time, and The Time Machine…
@@NekoRyuukiChan oh yea! Volcano and Dante’s Peak would both be great for a Pitch Meeting.
I too want more pitch meetings on older movies!!! The Godfather and Apocalypse Now, and so many more! 👍
I second the Twister suggestion and maybe The Happening? Has Ryan done that one yet? It's my favorite so bad it's good movie.
He has done the Happening.

@@ChineduOpara He'd probably enjoy the webcomic _Darths & Droids_ too.
Have loved your videos for years, thanks for all the hard work and congrats on dadhood! If you were gonna do older movies, I think Who Framed Roger Rabbit is an absolute fever dream and would be hilarious.
Congrats on the new addition.
One suggestion would be 1980s/90s action/action-comedy (Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Rush Hour, Commando, etc.)
He’s already done die hard
I'm too old for this shit!
I just squealed in excitement for a stranger on the internet having a baby! Congrats!
But he's more than just a stranger on the internet... He's the guy from the thing you're currently watching!
Me too!
Legit made my day!
The sudden endings always make me laugh
“Fruit loops, no” immediate end. Love it.
He's totally right too. Somehow as a kid I never noticed Froot Loops taste like ass
Trying to eat them in adulthood I can't possibly see how I liked them as a kid.
I agree, Fruit Loops are disgusting.
My husband still eats them.
The sugar on Fruit Loops actually had a sand paper texture.
"Random bulsh*t?" 😂 one of my favourite Pitch Meetings. I would watch an after hours remake.
Ryan I appreciate your videos being family friendly. I was hesitant to watch this pitch meeting specifically, but I thought "no, Ryan is pretty family friendly, it should be fine."
And it was, thanks!
Also I'm super excited for you to be a dad! That's so cool!
It'll be hard for sure but also awesome! Please take all the time you need to be with your family! We'll be right here when you get back.

the "it did, didn't it?" song is possibly my favorite joke you ever made. 10/10
Mine too.
Brilliant brilliant
I heard it right away while watching this pitch meeting and now it's stuck in my head
Nana na na na na nanana
I was in recovery from my Star Wars song addiction until this comment 😡
“Were you expecting me to draw Dakota Johnson? I would never.”
Perfect delivery
Yes!! I wasn't expecting that. The delivery was so good
The wait is worth it. This channel has come so dang far. The least we can do is show our support by being patient. Thank you RG and congratulations.
I love pitch meetings so much! This was an awful week, with a family member verbally attacking me when i was in a tough spot and feeling low already - but pitch meetings helped make me laugh and also lightened the February doldrums! So thanks!! We appreciate all you do Ryan!!
Also, as for this series of movies - you cannot be too mean spirited about them.
And FYI: as for family viewing, I only watch pitch meetings videos that are for movies that my 10yr old daughter has seen. So she will never see the fifty shades movies because they are garbage, so she never need see these. I hope other parents are also making appropriate choices for which pitch meetings to show their children!!
"FROOT LOOPS NO!"
Amazing ending to a video 🤣
Sounds like a final plea for your life
I don't get it
I wonder what did fruit loops do to him
@@IllisiaAdams I believe he simply answered the final question but in a way that made it sound like he was begging for a breakfast cereal not to murder him.
They brought him joy, and now as an adult with endless responsibilities and a family to care and set an example for often times it feels like you can't eat a giant bowl of Froot Loops because you are not a kid anymore.@@user-sl6gn1ss8p But I say NO! You can enjoy that sugary delight that brought you joy as a child! Let yourself love life!
_As a fellow father, I'm always excited for new Dads to experience this moment:_
The time will come where you say "my kid" or refer to yourself as "Dad", and you'll realize that it doesn't feel new or awkward anymore, and that it's actually weird to think of your life previously having been any other way. It happens faster than you'd think.
You become tired for long enough that Stockholm Syndrome and some crazy hormones renders you an entirely different person..... Only kind of joking
Hell even as a step-parent it took NO time for this to happen lol
My favorite moment as a new parent was the instant I realized I was responsible for a human life that could accidentally be snuffed out with less effort than it takes to scramble eggs.
You could literally end a human by rolling over in your sleep.
Did you know that nearly all babies have a self destruct button on top of their heads?
On top of that, the child is also the most important thing in your life by an incalculably vast margin.
Losing a child would ruin me permanently...and they can vanish from the Earth forever with so little effort it is absurd.
Worth it though. Have fun grappling with that new parents!
Also, the first time your kid says “I love you daddy” it will be like they ripped your heart out of your chest and then presented it back to you as theirs! Just me? Sorry, I’m weird.
@@Great_Wall_of_Text This is the best explanation that I could find that describe how I feel on becoming a father. My son is now almost 17 years old, yet, the feeling is still the same. :D
I recently started sharing Pitch Meetings with my teens and they all appreciate that you aren't vulgar or swear too often!
Bro. I’ve been watching your channel for a while and you are a source of entertainment for me. Love the channel. Keep doing your thing!

Die Hard 2-5
Lethal Weapon 1-4
Mortal Kombat '95
Willow
Police Academy 1-7 (3-7 can probably be one video...)

The worse a movie is, the better the Pitch Meeting
Congrats on becoming a dad Ryan!! Being a parent is so amazing and exhausting and challenging and wonderfully surprising and like nothing else!!
Some random advice from us, parents of a 10yr old and 3yr old:
-Take it all day by day, sometimes hour by hour.
-Do the best you can, try the best you can.
-Forgive yourselves often for not being perfect or sometimes not being even serviceable. -Being there and trying is what matters.
-Listen to other people, but do what you two need to do! (We had no set ideas going into having an actual baby at home and what that would look like. We were told not to co-sleep by so many, but some said do it. With our Sagittarius first girl we co-slept and i breast fed, and it was magical and exactly what she and we needed to do. With our Aquarius second, she was like "You people are too clingy, I need my space", so she was in her own bed next to ours by 6months, and switched to over half formula around 10months. We are so glad we let them lead us to do what they needed. Both are super independent, brave, and bright.)
- Eventually all kids want their own space/say about thibgs, and they are not crippled by your meeting them where they are.
- Time goes freaky fast from birth to walking and talking, enjoy as much as you can! Especially because you will only remember like 30-40% of the first two years! So. Very. Fast.
- And giving your kids lots of love and empathy, being in their corner and present, let's them survive when the world tries to beat them up later! We all need a safe harbor to push off from when we go exploring, and to return to when we need rest!
- Skip Mozart and Baby Einstein, play the music you like and are passionate about! (Unless that music is Beethoven, then play that all day.)
Have A Wonderful Day!!
As a non-Instagrammer, I want to congratulate you on being a dad... That's huge... ❤👶👣
And don't worry about it feeling wrong talking about being a dad. As I remember, I had trouble understanding it too, until I held my daughter for the first time...
I like that when Ryan does his Q&A, he doesn't read the compliments, he says "kind words". It's a small detail but it shows how humble he is by not repeating others saying how great he and his stuff is. (it really is great stuff too)
Also, congratulations on becoming a Dad. That's awesome man. If I may ask, a PM on Finding Nemo would probably be hilarious
I thought he just did it for time's sake.
I like when folks actually just write "kind words" and force him to read it
becoming a dad is super easy, barely an inconvenience
I get that he's being humble, and I believe it's honest humility, not just putting on a show of it... But those are kind words other people wrote for him, and he deserves them! I get he probably also doesn't want to bloat his videos too much, but I can spare a moment for him to share some well earned praise.
it's funny that you mention the "it did didn't it" because when I heard that part, that sketch was the first thing my mind went to 😂

For older movies to do Pitch Meetings for: I recommend "Brazil" and "Bicentennial Man"
FROOT LOOPS NO!! idk why that's was so hilarious but also HE'S GONNA BE A DAD?!?! all i can picture is when Ryan plays a baby in his sketches 😭

THANK YOU SO MUCH for deliberately limiting your profanity and vulgarity. I've always liked how I can share these Pitch Meetings with my kids but now I'm overjoyed that it's purposely family friendly.
It is refreshing even for us adults. I find profanity and vulgarity a weak way to get a laugh.

You guys are pathetic!
-Watching somebody grow, evolve, and age, over a period of time can blind you to the changes. I had forgotten how young you were when you started doing these. Seeing you now in one frame, then see you then in another cause a momentary shock to my senses. Amazing!
-I read the books, first. She didn't agree to do everything on the contract. She actually had respectable soft limits and hard limits. It was surprising.
-Ana's boss didn't sneak into the gala at the Grey mansion, in the book. That was added for the movie.
-I thought the movie over simplified the book. You really did an excellent job at simplifying it even more. But, it works because the movie did leave out a lot of important stuff. Note: You over simplified also to keep the rating down, that makes sense, too. Still your over simplifying really hi-lighted their over simplifying very well. So, it worked.
-I agree with having to sit through all of the movies. I barely sit through one movie, I haven't even bothered watching the rest. Jamie Dornan's face wasn't enough to convince and it should have been.
-The book didn't waste time showing them enjoying their honeymoon all that much. Everything that was mentioned was important to the rest of the movie. The mundane for the movie was unnecessary filler.
-Having Dornan on a pummel horse in the movie was just so that the female audience could get their fill of his muscles, to make up for the fact that the movies skipped a lot of the sex scenes, I'm sure. The pummel horse was never mentioned in the book. He preferred fencing and jogging as exercise.
-Your editing was a little off at the end of this video. It cut you off a little too close after your answer of Froot Loops!
I really like the old pitch meetings I rewatch them all the time!
Congratulations! I had my son 4 weeks ago and it still blows my mind that I’m a mom now. Hope all goes well for you guys!!
Damn glad that the "It did didn't it" kinda was the foreshadowing for the Star wars sketch, just rewatched it yesterday and hearing that immediately sparked the music in my head xD

Groundhog Day
An Inconvenient Truth
War Games
Flight of the Navigator
Cannonball Run (& #2)
Smokey and the Bandit
The Shaggy D.A.
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
E.T.
Star Trek, the Movie (& Star Trek 4)

I wholeheartedly agree with the request for pitch meetings on older movies!!! The Godfather, Apocalypse Now...the list goes on and on!
The little kid shouting "Blood!" from your First King sketch Immediately entered my head imagining you with a daughter.
Super happy to hear you're gonna be a Dad. Feels like somethin you'd learn to be really great at.
I’d like to say it’s super easy, barely an inconvenience, but it’s super difficult very much an inconvenience
Congrats on the impending Dad-hood, Ryan!
Let’s see… some good older movies to do Pitch Meetings. In no particular order:
- Adventures in Babysitting
- The Pagemaster
- The Music Man (I prefer the 1962 version with Robert Preston, but the Matthew Broderick version might actually be funnier for PM)
- The Chipmunk Adventure
- Flash Gordon
- Ladyhawke
- Ever After
- Charlie’s Angels (2000)
- Spice World
And here I will suggest a pile of 90s/00s Brendan Fraser movies, because I was kind of obsessed with him back in the day:
- The Mummy/The Mummy Returns
- Blast from the Past
- Bedazzled
- George of the Jungle
- Looney Tunes: Back in Action
- Encino Man
Hope this helps. Take care!
Some good suggestions!
I love the Mummy and George of the Jungle! And funny to say this, but the Pagemaster came to mind for me as well.
Mmm the formative years of the 2000's. George of the Jungle is the movie that confirmed for me that I am straight. My boss says Tomb Raider is the movie that confirmed for her that she is gay. Good times.
The Mummy/Returns could be good, because he could point out just how many jokes and scenes are repeated from the first movie in Returns. Also, everything is a Mummy; the pygmies, the weird anubis cretures, i was disappointed that the mom didn't become one at the end
The very first 2 movies that popped in my head when he asked for suggestions were The Mummy and Bedazzled! No idea why, but that Brendan Fraser era just seems to fit so well with Pitch Meetings.. I think it’s the really genuine, wholesome comedy feel.
Flash Gordon!
Good timing for this, with the latest How Did This Get Made podcast. And I love your drawing. Lots of eyes!
And any parent that watches a 50 Shades vid with their kid is not doing a good job.
Oh wow, I literally just re-watched that Pitch Meeting about a week ago.
Movie suggestions:
-The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension
-Street Fighter
-The Evil Dead / Army of Darkness movies
-The Mummy / Mummy Returns (with Brendan Frasier)
-National Treasure
-The Last Unicorn
-The Secret of NIMH
-Logan's Run
-Memento
I was going to say buckaroo bonzai and They Live.
Good ones!!!
@@jesse2214They live is CLASSIC!
Street Fighter would be so sick as a Pitch Meeting
This is a great list, you could do some fun stuff with memento
I agree 100% with the person requesting Pitch Meetings for earlier movies. While I love the new Pitch Meetings, they're generally for completely disposable movies. The older movies have stood the test of time. Plus, like you mentioned in an earlier video, when the movies are older, there is more info about plot holes and funny inconsistencies to draw from.
First: Congrats!
Second: Here's a few older movies I would LOVE to see pitch meetings for:
12 Angry Men
Catch Me If You Can
Shawshank Redemption
Homeward Bound
Rush Hour
Spirited Away
Tommy (1975 film)
Neverending Story
Indian In the Cupboard
Small Soldiers
2001: A Space Odyssey
Mad Max series
Flash Gordon
Eyes Wide Shut
Fight Club
The Truman Show
What Dreams May Come
Contact
Fifth Element
Independence Day
Waterworld
Braveheart
In The Mouth of Madness
The Last Action Hero
Groundhog Day
Hook
Defending Your Life
The 'Burbs
Short Circuit
The Running Man
The Last Starfighter
Trading Places

Two ideas for older movie pitch meetings:
The Big Lebowski - I think you could have a field-day with that one. It was my late husband's favourite movie, and he would've loved to hear your pitch.
The Wizard of Oz - Deserves a pitch I reckon.
Thankyou.

And congrats!! Daddy to two little girls here... the first few months will be a mix of incredibly amazing and incredibly tough. It’s normal. I wish someone had told me that.

Con Air (or other Nick Cage movie)

I would love to see you do a pitch meeting for some older classics, like The Princess Bride, Back to the Future, The Neverending Story, something like that. Of course I'll watch whatever you put out, though, because I love your style of humor and everything you make is gold in my book!

As someone that does sometimes watch pitch meetings with his kids, I do appreciate you keeping it family friendly! And I also agree with your take that it isn’t necessary with the content you create - the innuendos and overt aversion to vulgarity is funnier than any vulgar jokes you might have to sacrifice.
If you were hired as a cast member and/or writer for Saturday Night Live or a similar big show/movie/franchise, would you do it?

Congrats on your upcoming fatherhood! A personal favorite that I'd love to see a pitch meeting of is Mystery Men, but honestly the movie that I think would make the best pitch meeting is Starship Troopers. Could see you really having a good time with that one
