Alex Lopez is her husband which was the touring drummer for P.O.D. , but was the long time drummer for death core band Suicide Silence. Check out Pit of Consciousness- live in Kiev!

About the bass playing at the end, actually Eugene doesn't use a pick. I know he's "faking" it with his fingers, in a shape like he was holding one. It's a fingerstyle technique to get a different kind of attack on strings.

Perennial is the closer here, but it wasn't supposed to be. They were scheduled first on at like 11 a.m., but were delayed and went on late because the sound guys had issues. Played as much of their set as remaining time allowed. Still some sound issues when they did get going, finally got it figured out, or close to it, for this last song.
Tatiana features on a new P.O.D. song called "Afraid To Die' , with her husband ,Alex Lopez, on drums.
If you want a Jinjer music video, try "Home Back" , "Vortex" or "I Speak Astronomy".

I think Eugene was actually using his forefinger nail as a pick. I played guitar this way for a couple of decades before finally learning how to not drop the damned pick every few bars. I figured the guy from Dire Straits was doing it, why not.

No way she'd ever be an item with that convict. lol
Besides, she's married married to Alex Lopez, a former drummer for SUICIDE SILENCE and currently touring with P.O.D.

Tatiana is married to Alex Lopez drummer for POD. I don't know that Ronnies could handle her. I SpeakAstronomy is a really good studio track of theirs. Another good live one is Pit of Consciousness Live in Kyiv.

Ronnie is with Saraya, so I think he’d be able to handle Tatiana. Tati is pretty mellow off-stage from what I understand. To be fair, I think Ronnie probably is too.

I agree with you about the musicians. I will love Tatiana 'till the end of time, but it burns me when I watch reactions to them that people hyperfocus in on her so much that they completely miss the epic things going on musically. I could sit and watch Vlad and Eugene all day in utter amazement.

2:58 - This song wasn't supposed to be the last but they were one of the first bands of the day on that secondary stage (they played at around 11 AM) and due to some problems with the stage's gear that delayed the start of their set, they had to cut it short and the "bangers", that were supposed to be the last songs, were all left out.

    Good stuff.
Eugene (bass player) doesn't play with a pick....all fingers....and that's a big part of his tone. The attack on louder parts is rounder and warmer.
As you do more Jinjer reactions, you'll appreciate Eugene and Roman even more. Both are tone masters and play intricate, technical parts with lots of dissonance and runs.
Eugene is more of a performer on stage than Roman and his bass parts tend to stand out more often. Roman is IMO the "secret" weapon of Jinjer. Dude has interesting riffs for days and weaves everything into the music beautifully. Fantastic guitar player. The entire band are top notch musicians.
Maybe do Jinjer at their darkest next:
Jinjer -- Pit Of Consciousness (Live In Kiev) | Napalm Records
Or Jinjer at their most brutal:
Jinjer -- Sit, Stay, Rollover (Live In Melbourne) | Napalm Records
Or Jinjer at their proggy best
Jinjer -- Vortex (Official Video) | Napalm Records
Just three of a whole host of great Jinjer videos to keep you busy for months. Cheers. 🤘

Jinjer in an interview as a band as a whole lists Opeth as their biggest influence and Tatiana Shmaylyuk said that Opeth's vocalist, Mikael Akerfeldt, is the best vocalist that mixes clean vocals with growling vocals. Not a pick- I know it looks like it for the closing section of this song, but Eugene is just using his right hand index finger nail rather than having to faff about grabbing a plectrum on stage! I love that you're paying attention to what each of them are doing thru the performance tho- kudos.
All 4 of them really are *top-tier* at what they do. Some of their songs are so complex that the thought of having to perform them live gives *me* anxiety LOL ,yet they consistently nail it live. Y'all should really go see them live, ideally headlining in a smaller venue rather than opening for Slipknot etc in an arena. Just hang back from the stage a little to avoid getting the sh!t beat out of you in the pit, & you'll have a great time!! :)
