Thanks. I didn’t know all that. Plus i looked at the price and it was way to expensive. I have 10 grandkids. 4 of them are 15 to 25 yrs of age so it would cost a fortune. Can you suggest a cheaper alternative that is thick. It don’t have to be that thick but something close.
This is the most detailed and explained video I have found for making these. THANK YOU! Everyone just flies through and doesn’t explain what or why they’re doing it. Ugh! I’m so glad I found this! 👌🏻
This just popped up on my notifications. I had just opened up my computer to search UA-cam for my next project and this is what i was looking for...you have been reading my mind Bella!!!
Wow, I have never seen this yarn worked into anything before. Just the final piece don't in pictures. I think you did an excellent job of showing me how it is used. It looks so wonderful and so fluffy. Thank you for making this tutorial. Very well done. I must say, love the color you used here as well. Beautiful!
I'm going to try and make one for my daughter, this is such a adorable and cute project that would make a really good play blanket for her. I'm 22 weeks haha, also one for a throw blanket for our living room furniture, I didn't know this was a thing until now I'm excited!!
This is the best video I found explaining this. I have never crocheted but tried hand knitting and it was difficult not dropping the stitches. This is easier. The instructions in this video explain everything thoroughly.
This is fantastic! I have yarn that I bought on sale but it’s an awkward size. Not thick enough for an arm knit blanket and not thin enough for any of my crochet hooks so this is perfect!!!!!! Such an easy video to follow as well!
Beautiful! Looks nice on your bed too. You are a good teacher as well, very clear in your directions. I would love to try this out, but not with that yarn, it looks intimidating to me but so beautiful.
So I've been watching a ton of these vids, I dropped quite a bit of money on some very nice chunky yarn and have found myself not staring due to fear of screwing it up! I found your vid today and can say I'm going to start my blanket now as I feel very comfortable doing it along with this great educational vid! Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us how to do this craft, I appreciate it immensely and your instructions are crystal clear! Thanks again, I've found my new favorite channel!!🤗

Really lovely Sarah Jayne! It looks perfect on your bed. That yarn looks so fluffy and soft! I’ve never done hand crochet, just arm knitting. This was very interesting! It looks definitely doable! Thanks for sharing!
@@samanthahillier4691 I don't think she was meaning to be rude. The money and materials will be sadly wasted since this is not yarn and has no structure. It will quickly get gross and disintegrate :( I too get a little upset at all the people being misled to think otherwise.
Finally a video that is easy to follow and understand! I'm needing to make a crib bumper for my 9 month old. This video has showed me how! Thank you so much!
That is absolutely beautiful. I love that color I have some of this yarn and I've been trying to figure out how I was supposed to make a blanket and I could do the chain but then I didn't know how to build the chain but you just helped me tremendously so thank you very much. I love that color it's so rich and beautiful.
A very good beginning instruction. As a knitter, I think this is a great thing to make since I can’t crochet. I would however, weave in the tail a bit more though. That’s just from my knitting experience. But this is a great tutorial!
How amazing you are!!! This is just what i was looking for, have watched the tutorial and once again you have delivered simple, clear and perfect demonstration. Thank you for discount code also, thank you so much
I bought a ton of skeins of beautiful size 6 chunky roving yarn that I found at the dollar store, of all places, for $1.25 a skein. 😮 it actually looks exactly like the one you are using in this video, the same color and texture. But I was at a loss at how to use it all. I tried my favorite stitch, the hdc and I tried single stitch and they were both too bulky. I didn’t even think of slip stitching! And the slip stitch has such a nice look camel stitch/knit look to it! Thank you for this video. 👍
AMAZING video! Thank you. BUT would have like to have seen how big 3 kilos of yarn would get me... now I don't know if it'll be enough. But really great at the step by step!
Could I do this with a baby blanket? Would I just need to choose a thinner yarn? This is the most detailed video I’ve seen so far! Thank you thank you thank you!
Thank you for your instructions. Very helpful. I just bought some unspun yarn and a set on 25mm knitting needles to experiment with. Loads of fun. I'm going to undo it and us my giant crochet hook on it too before buying more yarn. It is quite expensive for my budget too. But I enjoy it. I have to find my looms... 😀 i think this type yarn would make killer home decor items too.👍
I watched this without audio thinking that that was how the video was made….realising towards the end of the vid it was not the case I turned up the volume…..I can tell you your hands did all the explaining ….. I found it a lot more relaxing and explanatory without audio
Agreed. This type of yarn is too much! It’s beautiful and a little complicated but it took me 3 spools of yarn and they were $20 each it wasn’t enough to make a twin blanket…so if ANYONE wishes to donate me some of that yarn-like 8 spools of ANY COLOR that would be a blessing like u wouldn’t know!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I crochet, macrame and knit, but for the life of me I haven't been able to figure out how to finger or arm crochet or knit lol. It's the damndest thing lol.
This is absolutely stunning and I’ve wanted to have a go at this or arm knitting for ages. I was just wondering how much wool you would need to make a baby blanket?
This video is great for a non-crafty person like me! I was wondering how I would add in another skein of yarn if I ran out? Do I weave it in similar to how you weaved in the remaining yarn at the end? Or tie a knot?
Hi, I just ordered chunky yarn and wanted to watch this video a couple of times so that I could get the learn of things. I only have one question though, how much yyarn did you use for thins blanket and if anyone knows can they share with me please. Well done, I love the blanket.
Do you think this would work with single crochets rather than slip stitches? I’d think it would build faster that way, but I’ve never done hand crochet before.

You mention often how fragile the yarn is - how well does it hold up as a practical item? I love the tutorial and I love the effect of the giant stitches but that question keeps niggling at me as I am watching it lol
How do you go about adding more yarn to this? I started a blanket but ran out of yarn so I need to add more! Do you have another video on that using the same technique?
Thank you for this video!!! I do have a question - I was following along and got to row 4 and got stuck lol so for row 4 would I repeat what I did for row 2? Thank you for the video!!!!!!
Same here!! I couldnt afford this now. I hope some day though. The blankets sell for alot and I'd love to make them to sell. It would be a great income!
This is amazing exactly what I needed to see so i can make a large blanket for my teen granddaughters.

Thank you - you describe this as crochet but I would have thought it was knitted.
But this video by far is the best one I have watched so far. I was able to make my blanket! Thank you so much

Beautiful design and a little different from the original way I’ve seen a blanket done but with this kind of yarn it’s delicate
Thank you! 😊

This was so so so so much easier than a lot of other videos I watched! Thanks!
She says this is an easy tutorial
Five seconds later “don’t worry this is the hardest knot but that’s OK”
She means the hardest knot that you’ll have to do in this tutorial
It was very simple.
Maybe this is too hard and you should stick to braiding! It can't be broken down any easier then she did! You get it or you don't!

Beautiful stitch. But roving is so expensive, it's best to just arm knit for a bigger blanket vs. crocheting.
