Great video! I just ordered all the parts to do this. How did you route and where did you install the microphone?
Thanks 🤛 I ran the mic on the left side and placed it on the dash behind the steering wheel by the gauges. You can fish it left and run in between the steering wheel column or go up the pillar over to the top of the headliner. Hope that makes sense.
@@esqu3l3to Got it! Thanks. One more question for you - is there a way to disconnect the battery without having to remove the wheel? I don't have the tools to remove the wheel.
I don't think there is, however, what you can do is remove the radio fuse in the fuse panel. That wat there is no power send to the radio while you work on it. Since you dont have any connections like air bag sensors you dont need to worry about that.
Any way of grounding an amp wire on a 2004 Sebring? I can’t find any bolts in the trunk that would work the only place I could think of is the strut tower or somewhere under the seats..
sorry for the late reply, I did not see your question. I did not check, however, look by your wheel fenders or seat buckles, you can use an existing nut of one of those. Just make sure its clean non-painted for best ground possible.
Where did you place the ground wire? I’m having trouble finding a place for my ground wire.
you can just use the factory ground wire found within the harness, otherwise you will need to go to a metal bracket on the drivers side kick panel near the hood release.
Is it possible to put a double din screen in this car? Or would I have to go with a flip out screen?
You will have to go with a flip-out screen as the vehicle does not allow for a double din.

How exactly do you remove the antenna? “push and pull” didn’t work for me
Push the antenna forward (behind the round black piece) then as you're pushing forward, you slide the black piece that's attached to the radio back. Hope that makes sense.
if i use another cheaper universal radio, will the parts be the same?
Adapter harness and dash kit will be the same, however, make sure the new radio dimensions will work with the dash kit. Some Android radios are not the typical size of most aftermarket radios.
Do u have to replace everything when u change radios? My stock radio works great I just want to be able to play music from my phone, instead of always listening to the one station that works out here.

Yes you will need the dash kit, harness and antenn adapter. Honestly, if you want to save money you can cut or splice into the factory harness. Antenna adapter is needed if you still want to listen to any radio station. Dash kit is required to to mount the new radio. A real cheap way would be to buy a wireless adapter that connects to your radio via fm frequency.
This is one of the least expensive installs I have done, aside from the nee radio, I bought the dash kit including harness and connectors for $25 from amazon.
if you just want blutooth get a fm transmitter they are like 20 dollars at walmart

I used a adapter harness for the installation. Otherwise trying to find a wire scheme is impossible. The adapter harness is not that expensive plus some dash kits include them.

If you want a screen in this vehicle then you will need a unit that has a fold out screen otherwise you can't.
Hi thanks for the video, can i put a newer radio in the 06 sebring. I just want a lcd touch screen on the dash,
But i know where the radio is, is pretty small, So i maybe need to install a smaller radio like you did.

Ok, color match all the wires- yellow to yellow, red to red, black to black. Same with all the others. For the whites, purples, green, and gray make sure to match properly. Meaning solid white to solid white and white/black to white black etc.

Yes, just to make sure. You should only have a few left. Also, orange or orange white make sure to connect. Its for dimming the radio at night.
